These guys did SUCH an amazing job on my vehicle! Also, they were so very communicative, friendly, and patient in helping you understand the process of the repairs. My finished date was WAY earlier than what I expected, and my car honestly looks better than ever!!! I’m so happy with this outcome, thank you again gentlemen!!! :-)

I came here to fix my car after a rear end collision, per the advice of my insurance company. I got really bad vibes as they seemed extremely unprofessional and gave me the run around when I would ask questions. So I decided to take my car elsewhere to get it fixed, black mountain collision had already inspected my car and took it apart for the estimate at the time I decided to go elsewhere. I had it towed to the other collision place the next day and BMC charged me a $300 out of pocket fee to have the car put back together so that it could be towed. When the next collision place got my car, they found 1. My windshield was cracked, which had nothing to do with the accident and I have photo proof that I left the car without the windshield crack. 2. My fuel line was cut. The new collision place indicated the fuel line was cut perfectly and not chewed, and it was the only one cut in the bunch (we ruled out that it could have been chewed up by a rodant). They also indicated that whoever cut it, tried to tuck the fuel wire in so that it wouldn't be immediately seen. I questioned the manager Ricardo Cortez Jr from BMC and he immediately got defensive and indicated the windshield was like that when I took it and denied even getting to the fuel line. BMC took my trunk apart and were the only ones who had access to th fuel line. I confirmed with my insurance from the pictures that BMC sent him on day 1 of having my car, that there was no damage to the windshield. They are shady and got upset that I didn't have them work on my car but I'm glad I went with my gut because who knows what else they would have done to my car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

I had a side collision repair with them last year; the repair job was excellent, and the front desk was chill and friendly. The paint job was also great and matched perfectly with factory paint. They obviously excel at their craft as an auto body shop. However, during repair, they had to remove the back seat of my car and were pretty careless with it. The backseat cushion is now bent and does not sit properly with the floor (seat cushion replacement parts cost around $1000). One of the seat-belt buckles is also stuck underneath the seat cushion and is now unusable. Overall, the bodywork done is excellent, but they can generally be negligent with other aspects of your car.

Took my Acura MDX in after I side swiped a parking pylon and left what looked like a scrape and yellow paint on my front bumper. Ricardo told me to come by after submitting an online estimate request, in case it didn't need as much work as I thought. This man spot polished it on the spot for a lot less than the hundreds of dollars it would have taken to paint the bumper. Will definitely go here for why future auto body needs.

Ricardo and his team are very welcoming and accommodating. I came in there stressed because I just got into minor car accident, and he made everything easy and fast. Ricardo is good at communicating giving me updates here and there. When it’s time to get my car its all in good condition and everything is well taken care of. Keep up the good work and god bless.

In haste last December during an emergency, I backed into a portico at our house with the Suburban resulting in some pretty nasty damage to the side of the vehicle. After researching many places in San Diego, I settled on Black Mountain Collision and I'm glad I did. As you can see from the pictures, their work and paint matching is fantastic. Additionally, we had some other minor work done on the front bumper and some scratches on the other side of the vehicle and a few misc. items - happy with all of it. The quotation was accurate as was the amount of time required. Ricardo (GM) is professional, polite and very knowledgeable - quite and asset there. I know we have many choices for repair in our city, but this is now my go to place. Thanks again to the team at Black Mountain Collision.

Collision repair 5 stars. Painted trunk rim free of charge 5 stars Professionalism 5 stars Everyone had smile on their face (happy crew )5 stars Work environment pleasant ( music in background) 5 stars Car detail outside of car -5 stars No car detail on inside of car -Inside of car had light whitish tan color seats & mats and drivers side was dirty -crew does not use seat covers or car mats covers as they work ( -1 star) no big deal as I will clean it myself. Yes I recommend this collision shop to young and old male or female give them your business no regrets.
