Today around 7:45 PM, while a sweet black-haired woman & a man were working, a crazy homeless-looking man harassed the employees, and the employees handled it very well. The woman was calm, while the man was successfully able to kick out the crazy customer. Props to them!
In general, I come to this location very often for soda refills, and the employees are absolute stars since they have to deal with some of the worst homeless in the Midway district. David (during overnight) is my favorite, and he's always greeting me with the best attitude and it makes me happy everytime to see him. The main manager is extremely professional, and he's VERY fast at his job. He's able to typically handle & pay out two customers simultaneously.
The rest of the staff are incredible too. At other 7-elevens, I've had terrible employee interactions just in a few visits. I've been to this specific Midway dozens of times, and I've not once had a bad interaction with the employees.
This 7-Eleven is one of the best ones in the Point Loma area! :)

I remember when 7 elevens were open 24hr regardless of what the employe is doing. Now I notice a lot of 711 are close,When there are on break or they are cleaning. And even shift change. It seems likeThe employees can't Handle customers When they are cleaning....They should change 711 scheduleTo regular hours not 24hr

The owner for the 7-Eleven is horrible I wouldn't want to work for him for anything he treats his employees like trash. How dare he and he is a foreigner he should know better you would think... The owner's customer service here is horrible Sometimes you hand him the money and he will put your change back onto the table not handing it back in your hand. He tosses it back onto the counter which is very rude and you would think he would know better being an owner of a business. I don't know how any of the employees that work at the 7-Eleven want to work for an owner like this that is rude and treats them like trash. He treats his employees like they are not human and animals. I think at times the store is a little dirty and think it can be a little cleaner.

The owner for this 7-Eleven is very rude and has bad customer service. He treats his employees like trash and animals. You would think him being an owner of a business he would have better customer service than he does. I have handed him my money and he gives me my change back and throws it onto the counter top which I totally think is totally disrespectful. I think the store is a little dirty and think it can be a little cleaner. If I was out looking for a job I wouldn't want to work for this type of owner.

Unwelcoming energy from two male employees that are main ones working all the time . It’s not like they’re just having one bad day , it’s everyday that seems is a bad day for them and always have a bad attitude. This poor customer service will cause this location to lose business slowly but surely . Main one with bad attitude is old guy with short gray hair and glasses .

I've already called corporate and I've had three incidents with an employee they're trying to overcharge the products and treating customers with the rude attitude. If you go to this store make sure they're ringing you up right they will overcharge you. The owner Ali is a good person it's just this employee and I've also heard them making threatening remarks to other customers as well as myself

Great customer service, as well as great ownership. unfortunately the owners and workers are located in a rough area surrounded by trashy people. The owner gives pizza and water to the homeless and they repay him by breaking his windows and constantly stealing from his store. I give this store 5 stars because he gives back to his community and deserves to be recognized for it

I'm a frequent flyer at 7/11's. Most of the time the experiences are consistent and meet my expectations of a 24h convenience store. I've been in this particular store at a dozen times in the past 6 months. Of those visits I can't remember one that was pleasant but this one took it to a new level. The lady behind the cash register was one of the rudest individuals I've come across lately. She berated a few customers while I got coffee and the copped an attitude with me because I wanted cash back but apparently the register didn't work. I asked to use the other register. Mistake! The attitude was hurled at me and for a moment I wanted to throw it right back but quickly realized that it wouldn't have mattered. Also, this store seems to have access to available stock such as 1/2n1/2, cold brew and the hot chocolate/latte/chai tea/whatever machine. Others don't seems to have that much a problem. Do yourself a favor, go to another 7/11. There's one just down the street. If you like confrontation, you'll be welcomed with open arms. -3* for Miss Attitude -2* for missing stock +1* because I can't give 0 stars
