Thus, location is better of closing. There is more staff in the pharmacy than the entire building.. God forbid you need something that's locked away.. ur better off going somewhere else. The staff sees u pressing the need assistance putting and u hear it over the intercoms. And still no oooo body come.. wow. Why even be open? u have 2 ppl in the front cashing ppl out. .

The pharmacists at this location have some serious issues and treat patients badly. I have let rhem know that the medication is for my disabled sister and these woman will power trip and make me wait even though the medication is ready. It’s an unethical way to relate to PATIENTS.Why are people like this in this type of position? My sister called and they told her it had been ready since 1:30 pm and nobody came, I tried to pick it up at 1:30pm and one of them told me she was going to lunch and it would be ready at 2:30 pm then I came at 2:30 and she wasn’t ready!!!!! This person should be sued because my sister is bed ridden and disabled and is being treated this poorly by this person. We are definitely thinking of changing out our services to a different pharmacy…. The problem that I read on a lot of people’s reviews of this pharmacy is that we live close by and why should we as consumers and patients have to go out of our way. May these women get exactly what they deserve, no reason to play with people’s lives this way. It’s awful!!!!!!!!

The girls in the pharmacy are very dull and don't seem to know how to find anything unless you call your doctor and then some how it appears. I have had horrible experiences here with the manager being rude and staff playing dumb (or they probably just are) and I've tried to push through, because I live so close but dealing with ignorance and attitude isint worth it. Worst CVS in Salinas. Even the CVS on Laurel Dr is better and they are the most busy. Sucks I have to switch to Walgreens now?♀️

If I could give Less than a star I would they had me waiting for over half an hour for my medication saying it'd be ready in 20 minutes. I asked they say it never got processed so it would be another 20 minutes. Why would you have me waiting then if you couldn't do your job right and this isn't the first time this shit happens, it's always something with the CVS pharmacy. Last time she pulled my medication, scanned it, then had to put it back and made me wait half an hour while she helped other clients and never gave me my medicine. I ended up leaving from how sick I was feeling and I didn't wanna wait longer than I should've especially after she had already scanned it. She should've gave it to me right then I'm there, I don't know what their problem is. Their management is probably the issue but they need to get it together. It's the worst fucking pharmacy.

Not only unprofessional, but dangerous! If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT TRUST THIS PHARMACY My wife called to refill our daughter's prescription on Wednesday, to which the automated system replied that it would be ready the following day. (this is a recurring prescription for epilepsy that we have been getting filled with unimpressive performance from this store for about 3 years now.) The next day came and went without any word from the pharmacy. Two days after the original call, my wife called to ask if the meds were ready. She spoke with Brandi, who told my wife she should speak to a real person instead of the automated system. She then told my wife that they were out of that medication, it would not be ready until Monday and she should call around to find it elsewhere if we wanted it sooner. My wife tried to explain that our daughter needed this medication right away, she couldn't just quit it cold-turkey without risking a serious medical crisis but Brandi just kept speaking over my wife and saying there was nothing she could do, then hung up on my wife. I called hoping to speak to a different person but Brandi answered the phone. I tried diplomatically to explain the seriousness of the situation but again Brandi said we should speak to a real person instead of relying on the automated system, to which i replied that it is not my responsibility to question the reliability of the automated system that they have in place, that as a customer i expect that if they use that system it will be accurate and it's not our fault if it is unreliable. She continued to interrupt me and talk over me as she did to my wife, and when I told her not to do that I could hear her laughing at me over the phone. I asked to speak with her supervisor. She said she was on vacation for a month. I asked to speak to whoever was in charge at that moment. She put me on hold. After waiting 10 minutes I hung up. My wife and I had to cancel our plans and spent the rest of the day calling each and every pharmacy looking to get that prescription filled to no avail. The entire afternoon was spent on the phone calling out to different pharmacies further and further away. Eventually my wife was able to get a partial prescription fill from a CVS about 40 miles away. Just in time to hit rush hour traffic, my wife got in her vehicle and started driving to that pharmacy. 30 minutes into her drive, the CVS automated system pings my wife to let her know the prescription was ready for pick up at the original store. I went to investigate and sure enough, there was our daughter's meds. I spoke with the head pharmacist and explained what had occurred that day. Although not rude like Brandi had been earlier that day, the head pharmacist told me essentially the same thing that Brandi had said: it is better to talk to a real person than relying on the automated system they have in place. We did talk to a real person and they also proved useless. She essentially shrugged and said oh well, our system is buggy. Better luck next time. Meanwhile, my wife was on the road for a 2 hour trip that wasn't necessary. I called the corporate number to file a complaint. I explained the entire story and was told I would get a call back from the regional manager within a week. Nothing. I called again to follow up and my complaint wasn't even logged. I told the entire story all over again to a different person and was told I would get a call back in 48 hours. Nothing again. I followed up one last time, told the whole saga all over again and was told I would get a call back within 24 hours, and that if I didn't hear from anyone to call back. I replied that this was the last time I would call them. If no one reached out to me I would go public. Here we are. CVS pharmacy on Boronda no longer handles our prescriptions. The people at that pharmacy have no initiative. the regional manager does not know or does not care about customer relations and making this right. I advise anyone who is looking for a good pharmacy to avoid the CVS on East Boronda

The sign says buy one and take 50% off the second one, so I bought two, but when I scanned it during check out, it was both at regular price. Seems like I was being scammed by those tricky signs. Not a good place to shop.

Shouldn't verbally give a time frame of a prescription will be ready if you can't fulfill it by 2 HOURS. My mother was told her Rx would be ready by 10, get there a lil after 11 still not ready. Told it would be another 15-20 mins.. wasn't finally checked out until almost 12. So I get to be over an hour late to work.. thank you CVS. One of the many reasons why I switched to a different pharmacy 10 years ago.
