This is my.one and only place I trust and know I'm part of this family. SFFCU on Claudia has been my trusted CU for years. The ppl who work there are respectful, helpful, knowledgable and local. They LISTEN to you and HEAR your needs and wants. It's like a good old mom and pop store! Lol We all need to feel safe and trust our fellow community these days...I DO HERE! I have been banking here for years and I can't believe the rating at this location. They have great customer service and very quick! I just came in for a deposit and was out in a flash. They do have a drive thru which I find very convenient. I would also like to share when they first switched over from school financial credit union I had accidentally got rid of the mail with all the info and my new card. I went in when they were literally ready to close because my old card had been deactivated and was not able to make purchases, well they took the time to switch me over right then and there gave me my new card and I did not have to wait for it in the mail. I love the customer service here and would definitely recommend this location. Good job guys

I do my banking mostly online, and so far it is acceptable. However, changes in their website pictures tell me that they are going WOKE for no reason!

I have enjoyed doing business with Schools Financial CU, but since SchoolsFirst Federal CU bought them nothing works. 1. I have given up trying to deposit a checks into the drive up ATM at the Claudia Dr location. It's refused to accept the checks including a Covid-19 stimulus check. What's more their new ATMs awkwardly require your card to be submitted width-wise (so incredibly easy seated from one's car). 2. I received an unrequested replacement debit card for the 'old' SFCU during the merger and didn't receive my new SFFCU credit/debit card. 3. For some reason one of my statements goes to my PO Box and the other my home. Was told to go online to update my address. I did so months ago and they're still sending one statement to my home address. 4. I asked if my loan's automatic payment needed to be updated due to the merger and the teller told me no, it's been taken care of. Fast forward to May 2021 and my automatic loan payments have been discontinued. 5. Their website isn't the best. Try clicking on 'Check Car Loan' as I did thinking it would give me my loan info. Nope new loan landing page. Here you'll find yourself still logged in but unable to get back to your account info. Also every other financial institution time's me out of my account after a short time of non use. But one day I got side tracked and after logging in to wake my sleeping computer I found my new Schools account still logged in 12 hours later. My confidence in this institution is gone. None of their implemented systems works well. If things are still iffy when my loan closes in a few months, then I'm outta this Hell hole.

Crap bank since the merger...cant get anything right...couldnt access my account for a week and now they have problems with the online app...so now im currently waiting on hold for the last 30 minutes to talk to someone after trying 3 times to use their teletellar service and repeatedly being informed that my account doesn't exist.....this crap is unacceptable! Goodbye Schools! Taking my business elsewhere

We've always been happy with the staff and their customer service especially one of their bank specialists - SAL. He is not only efficient but he also helped us avoid charges in our transactions. He also signed us up I an account that will yield higher rate. And lastly, he called us the next day to make sure that our transaction went well. Keep up the good work. As a member for 40+ years It was great finding a location outside of busy Southern California. so while driving through Sacramento, north on the I-5 I was able to easily find this location using Google Maps surprisingly a big building, I was greeted by friendly staff, the seemingly empty credit union was quick to get in and out. They have all your needs here, drive-thru, outside ATM, handicap parking even bicycle parking, a parking lot big enough for a truck and trailer to pull up.

I have had a series of unfortunate glitches ever since the merger. First SchoolsFirst wrote me a letter stating I did not have homeowners insurance for my home loan that I started with Schools Financial. They were going to assign me a company even though I have had CSAA insurance on the house for 18 years. I went down to the Freeport branch to find out what was happening and got an apology for a letter sent out in error. Then charges to Amazon appeared on my husband's account. My husband has Alzheimer's and doesn't even know how to use Amazon. Again, I received an apology and the money back. Next, I received a letter saying I didn't pay my mortgage for 2 months. Turned out that they neglected to inform me I now had a new mortgage number. The money was located and I changed the automatic payments to the new mortgage number. Today, I received a letter advocating financial counseling before they complete the foreclosure on my house. I can show years of bank statements with regular payments. Tomorrow I will go again to find out what is going on. What a waste of my time!

I have my car loan through Schools First. No problems prior to their merger. After their merger, I have had an extremely difficult time with my monthly payments. My automatic withdrawal was deleted without notifying me. After several phone calls with wait times of 30-60 minutes, I found out they didn't have my right contact information. I had one very helpful customer service agent after that the remaining have been very short with me.

Website is a bust. Staff lies to get you out the door. I get it, it's a pandemic and the quicker you're out the safer for them, but not when your money is held at ransom! They say the app works to deposit checks but it kicks them back. The ATM lines we crazy at the start but now the ATMs are just flat broken and you got to move on to the next place. They hide behind a facade of being 'friendly' but what we want are results! Make the website work. Make the atms work. Make the mortgages work. Make the accounts communicate with each other. Make the rates as 'competitive' as you claim. Make the 'benefits' for teachers actually worth the time cost of even setting things up in the first place. I wish they would've just left our old bank alone, but now it's been hijacked and now we have all these new costs to pay for their expensive acquisition. Also, train your staff. There should be consequences for bank employees that lie or mislead account holders.
