“I got gifts for my Chinese parents and in-laws, and they loved their abalone and sea cucumber gifts. There were several assortments of dried seafood, so I was able to get a bit of everything to create my gifts. My parents and in-laws were impressed. There are also ingredients to make healthy soups like goji berries, ginseng, dried dates, astragulus (?) root, and other Chinese herbs and roots. Great one stop shop for Asian delicacies! I saw they have teas too, so I might try them next time.”

“I just want to thank you guys for being the only gas station in at least a 20 mile radius... to actually have a squeegee, water and paper towels. Found out the hard way that my rental car had no freaking wiper fluid (thanks enterprise!) so I'd been white knuckling it since leaving Pasadena. It was really bad and I could barely see. I stopped 3 times and no other gas station had anything. Went inside to pee too and the guy at the register (wearing a bad-ass Pantera t shirt) was super friendly. So thank you for keep LA safe! Much appreciated! Thursday @ 6:30 pm.”

“I like to come here to get cigarettes. This store does carry my brand which is Marlboro Menthol. If you're a smoker you know that not all places carry menthol cigarettes because of the state trying to ban them etc. Anyways they also sell Marlboro cheaper here. When you purchase 2 packs they get discounted and comes out to a total of $18.04 which is great at 9 dollars a pack. Average price is 10 to 12 dollars depending where you buying them so I like to load up here.”

“After quarantining for 2 month, I went to the beach for an hour. Didn't think too much of putting on sunscreen since it was a short time out. Whabam!! 2nd degree burns all over my arms, legs, face, and neck. By second degree, I mean skin is red, then blisters filled with water appears, and then the skin starts falling off and shedding everywhere! I guess my skin wasn't used to sunlight anymore so that short hour... only 1 hour!!.. outside was enough to cause EXTREME sunburn. Anyways... CVS was a savior because Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and even sephora and makeup stores I went to did not have aloe gel or even aloe lotion on hand when I needed it! CVS came in clutch with 6 different brands of Aloe gel for treating sunburns. Not only is aloe effective already, the brands carried by CVS also contained lidocaine as a anesthetic agent to d*** the pain and itching. CVS is my savior this quarantine period”

“New pumps, lower prices than nearby shell. Combine with Fuel Rewards discounts and you're looking at name brand fuel for the same price as generic gas stations.”

“The cashier behind the counter, Bless her older heart was trying to assist way too many people. She literally was working 2 registers. One being the self checkout. It took her 3 times as long. She kept pushing people to use the self checkout but she would have to assist them and she wasn't done 7with the customer at the counter. Finally, we gently told her to finish with her original customer before sending people to the self checkout bc the self checkout required her assistance. Her reply was that the higher ups (management is causingyour”

“so is every CVS the same??? NOPE!! not a lot of people here and help is limited but that's a CVS staffing issue. as for the employees they do have, they are SUPER helpful and courteous!! i called for a vaccine as I was having issues making the appointment online for this location, and Maria in pharmacy was SUPER helpful, friendly, and professional! I didn't get the name of the Asian lady in pharmacy who administered the covid vaccine, but she was super nice and professional as well. but they are all great! honestly this CVS is underrated and has one of the best service for any CVS around. I'll drive over a half hour just to get better service here than the local CVS down the street from my house. thank u for the rare great cvs customer service!!!”

“The owner Sunny and his wife are very good people! This store is always clean, in stock and they have a really good employees. The service is always quick and friendly. Hardly ever lines here and they are open later than (usually close about 3am til 5am) any other 7eleven location or store in this area for miles, take my word for it.”

“I work in this area as a driver . I always stop by. Customer service is great. Can't comprehend why they have such a bad rating. I think some of these peoples reviews are inconsiderate... they don't take in mind that ever since covid hit no one wants to work. Some of these people working here are here the whole day. Doing double shifts. Due to lack of employees. So instead of bad talking people get a job here and you provide the service you say isn't being provided to you.”

“A few years ago I've came to this location and it was a terrible experience. I was given attitude from the employee who worked as a cashier when I asked them a question.I decided to come back two weeks ago and grabbed a big gulp and the service is amazing. I have came to this location 3 times since then. The cashier/employee was polite and gave a smile, clean(he put on a new pair of gloves to touch food/cups/anything edible). You can see how much they've improved on cleanliness and added plastic shield at the counter. I hope they put some napkins near the drink fountain though. Other than that, I'd definitely come back and grab a drink to support and stay refreshed during this summer. Tip: Big Gulp drinks are 49 cents! Their soda is actually pretty good and better than other places.”
