I gave a 2-star review for this gym and I’m going to tell you why…
I’m 23 and I signed up a little over a month ago. I only wanted the private lessons because I feel like I work better 1 on 1, (I’m sure there’s people who can relate). I spent a lot of money on these classes because I wanted to better myself and be a better person in general. I asked about it and Pam said I would have to get a membership first and that membership is for gym access so then I would be able to get my 1 on 1 lessons, understandable. I wanted to think about it first so I told her I didn’t wanna sign up today and that I would come back tomorrow. She looked taken back and kept trying to press the issue about me signing up that day when I wanted to go home and think about it first. Pushy salesman vibes. There’s more to this story but the main thing is that I paid over $800 and lost one of my practice days because I didn’t let my coach know ahead of time that I wasn’t going to be able to make it. First of off emergencies happen, things happen in general, it’s not like I wanted to miss my class when I’ve never missed any of my other classes. I’m seeing now that it’s all about the money, it’s not about how I feel when I’m training with my coach, when I’m laughing, having a good time, learning how to defend myself, seeing my progression, it’s about getting on the autopay so that they can bill every month. I wasn’t notified the day of that I would be losing one of my classes because I didn’t let them know 24 hours ahead until my next session. Like I said things happen, I was really hoping I’d still have another session with coach John, or even something to let me know that my last day was today.. I’m not gonna lie I’m really upset I had to cancel my membership today, I was finding myself and becoming more confident, but nowadays that comes with a hefty price tag.

THIS REVIEW IS ONLY PERTAINING TO THE KIDS PROGRAM. I had my child enrolled for almost half a year, and they still don't even know proper stance or even basic technique. There is no structure in these classes, it's basically just P.E. and, therefore, no progress. Every class just seems like a random free for all with basic calisthenics and every now and then they would hit the punching bag.... My child learned nothing but bad habits. We recently found a new gym that actually cares about there students and they literally had to unteach everything that my child had "learned". My child has learned more st there new gym in 1 week than an entire 5 months at this gym. If you're looking to lose a couple lbs in a "mma themed" gym than this is probably the place for you. If you're looking for a gym where your child can learn proper techniques, how to train, fight, and compete, this is NOT the place for you. Championship fighters are made in sacramento.... just not here.

Had a membership here, ended up THINKING my membership was canceled, come to my surprise 6 months later when I get a collections call for over $500… Moral of the story staff will scam you, used to be a massive Uriah Faber fan but now I see what he thinks of us fans!
