It took three days to get an estimate three times higher than anybody else. Then he keeps texting me, telling me how great he is, how successful he is, blah -blah-blah. I finally told him, ''Leave me alone. You're trying to argue with a customer who just rejected you.''

I can't say enough about Guy and his crew. Had it not been for GV Construction Services, the buildout of our studio would not have happened by our deadline. Guy is great to work with, true to his word and does top notch construction. Highly recommended!

Great experience with GV Construction. My go-to contractor was on vacation and I needed someone who was reliable QUICK for a commercial project in Beverly Hills. I had to cancel morning of due to last minute insurance issues--Guy totally understood, didn't charge a fee and came back a few days later and did an amazing job. Great and fast communication, quick turnaround and hard workers with clean hands. I didn't have to worry about dirty finger prints all over everything after they were done working in the space. Highly recommend.

They need a lot of information to provide a basic quote for popcorn removal..... plus I have a "condensenting" (really condescending) tone when I say removing popcorn is not rocket science? It really isn't rocket science.... Providing a customer of a ballpark estimate to budget for a rehab of a property, that I have owned for 30 years (not flipping) is impossible without all the information below? You choose if you want to deal with a guy with Zero customer service skills. At no time should a service company ever address or talk to a customer like this. Not even if he has disdain for a customer. Note from GV construction: "If you knew anything about the science of popcorn removal you would know it "WILL" require a skim coat. And not just one coat either. Why don't you let the scientist determine what is needed instead of your assumptions...and since you ignored half my questions and have a condensenting tone you can call someone else. I will not provide you with an estimate based on your assumptions. I do not provide cost analysis based on a one paragraph negligent description. If you cannot fully describe the existing conditions and the desired finish colors I cannot provide you with a cost. I don't like wasting my time pulling numbers from the air based on "850" sqft. I would have additional questions about the building. That affect my cost which affect your cost. HOA. Requirements if any. Public area protection to and from, interior access or exterior, parking conditions and waste disposal. Is the flooring also being changed. Will the heater be functioning. All these factors contribute to the cost. As does the existing color and new color. I don't have time to write proposals based on size and year built as I would surely have to do the whole thing again once site is visited. Then I will hear how sticker shocked you are after a price has been adjusted for all the new data acquired from the site visit How does 6700 sound? We are not a house flipping outfit. We do quality work with quality materials. With experienced technicians capable of handling any aspect of the construction industry wether residential, commercial, industrial or institutional. I stopped building rockets when I was a kid so that I could build bigger and better things.... Thank you and good luck with your "Endeavor" Thank you for the lengthy explanation.. the project was bid and completed perfectly by T&B drywall for $1500. GV Construction pulled out our old deck and put in a new Trex deck. It was a very large deck. Guy Varcados, the owner, is friendly, experienced, and a perfectionist. He pays attention to detail and does quality work. His team was on time, conscientious, clean and did an excellent job. He came every day and checked the work. He was always available and responsive. I highly recommend them.

Fair, friendly and experienced. Came in and spent a lot of time with us going over our renovation and the different options we had. His team is hard working and pay attention to detail. Guy even came in and gave me advice on some DIY work I was doing and saved me a ton of time and $$. We used him for Demo, railing and drywall. So impressed by him we are going to use him for building a bar, kitchen nook and floating a fireplace hearth.

Had a great experience with GV Construction services to repair some ceiling cracks in my house. I contacted Guy through Yelp, and he was always extremely responsive via e-mail, which for me was very important. Guy would respond at all hours to help get a quote, the job scheduled, and the job completed. It was Anthony and team who actually performed the work, and they did a great job. Very professional guys who took the quality of the work seriously. I've been looking for a reliable general contractor for a while, since the last person I used seemed to have disappeared. The prices of GV Construction were reasonable, and the quote was accurate for the amount of time spent. I also appreciate that the team works weekends and late in the evening if needed. For me, it works much better for my schedule. Thanks all!
