I wrote an earlier review that I want to comment on. This first year of school was definitely a difficult one for our daughter and our family. After the school finally got our daughter tested she was diagnosed with dyslexia and a comprehension disorder. In order for us to be able to get this done we hired an educational advocate. Now the school and all teachers and everyone involved has definitely shifted their course.. they are now fully on board with helping her achieve appropriate educational goals, and respect our family structure and effort's to help our daughter and son that attend the school. I am a firm believer of working with people even when things are difficult- I am sad that it took so much effort for us to get our daughter tested but I understand that there is due diligence and a process to getting these things done. My best advice to any parent is to be persistent and know what your rights are. When she started receiving speech therapy and other one on one instruction her understanding and abilities to do her school work great increased. She is still not at grade level but I AM RELIEVED THAT WE NOW HAVE A PLAN TO HELP HER AND ARE SEEING THE BENEFITS OF THAT PLAN. The teachers are wonderful and we truly appreciate All they have done. I've had to work with several of the administration during the process of having an IEP and have come to point where I know we see eye to eye. We look forward to many more GOOD years at Magnoila Elementary.

Im 21 years old now! But i went there K-6 grade it was the best time ever!! Teachers were amazing , i still remeber every single teacher i had!!
