I enrolled my daughters into IAR 2 years ago. My eldest attended 6-8th grade at IAR and my youngest attended her 4th-current 6th grade year at IAR. My only regret is not enrolling them into IAR sooner. I am truly grateful to the staff and teachers that have helped my daughters learn more about Islam and their deen. IARs Arabic and quran classes are great as well. and I really love that the classes are slightly smaller than regular public schools. May Allah continue to bless IAR for many more years to come.

Enjoyed the recent end-of-the-year performance at the Moreno Valley Community Center. All stakeholders were very involved. Students, parents, staff, board and school administrators were proud of their school and happy to be in attendance on a busy Friday night. Diverse student body, with children of all ages enjoying playing & performing together. Administration actively engaged, with the principal, vice principal, and operations manager personally welcoming parents and families to the event.A warm, happy, and welcoming vibe for the event.

Question - 5428The question is, A (Muslim) father pays tution for a Muslim school, and the father is late this month. The school in return has asked the brother to pay a late fee. What is the rulling on this or on late fees in general?AnswerPraise be to Allaah. It is not permitted to delay what is due to others and take too long to pay it. The person to whom the money is owed has the right to demand his money and to cancel the contract for the remaining time. But it is not permissible for the one who is affected by the late payment to add more to the amount that he is owed, as when a person owes a payment by a specific date and does not pay it, it becomes a debt upon him. And any extra fee taken for the lateness of this debt would be considered riba and is haraam. The exception is in the case of a penalty that is stipulated as a condition in a construction contract (e.g., for lateness in completing a building or structure), if both parties have agreed to that or it is imposed by a shar’i judge as a deterrent and rebuke for taking other people’s rights too lightly. .

My daughter joined kindergarten last year and she is now in first grade. I am very pleased with her level in all disciplines including English, Arabic and Islamic studies. In one year she memorized as much Quran as an average Muslim did in a lifetime. Teachers are excellent, the school is very open to parents and their suggestions.I highly recommend the Riverside Islamic Academy to parents looking to put their children in a safe school environment.

My kids joined this school two years ago . I was quite skeptical about this school . However I was pleasantly surprised as this is the best decision I took for my kids . I brought my kids from a public school and suddenly my my kids were in a very safe environment and they were given so much attention that I was very please . This year I feel this school has become better than last year . My kids teachers are just awesome . They give full attention to all the kids and I see the difference in the kids. I am very satisfied in this school .

My daughter and son both attend this school. When I took my daughter to the bank, she was reading her book assignment aloud. The bank employee asked how can she read so well. I told her, it was the schools doing. At the moment I knew she was attending THE BEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN RIVERSIDE COUNTY. I am so happy I made the decision to put her in this school. Under Mr. Hasan Radi the school is now WASC accredited for the last 3 years. This is a major achievement. The previous principal and administer were unable to accomplish this. New programs like Art and physical education have been implemented.I love the Arabic program as well.Thank you Mr. Radi for you dedication

I searched far and long for an Islamic school I can afford. Finding Islamic Academy of Riverside was a blessing from Allah (swt). This is our second year at the Islamic Academy and I am shocked with the outcome of my daughter's behavior. She used to be the shiest girl you've ever seen, now she can recite the Quran Infront of a live audience with confidence!!! She has memorized Surah's that I'm yet to learn. She has earned a trophy which brought tears to my eyes. Islamic Academy of Riverside works with your children. They have tutoring if needed and they are really understanding. May Allah bless the school, staff and all and help them grow and prosper. Ameen.
