I was having a bad day but the guy as the register named Luis made me laugh. It's nice to know Target has employees that like the company they work for and that they feel comfortable interacting with the customers .

I am very disappointed on the amount of push that Target is now doing for Starbucks. Starbucks supports a genocide and I will never buy from them and will now limit how much I buy from those brands that support it, like Target. This review is joy a reflection on the employees.

“As a regular patron of this Target location, I am consistently impressed by the shopping experience it offers. This store has become one of my favorites for several reasons. Firstly, it always seems to have exactly what I'm looking for, and more often than not, I discover items I didn't even know I needed - a quintessential Target experience. The store maintains a high standard of cleanliness, with products neatly organized, contributing to a visually pleasing environment. One notable feature is the presence of an armed guard at the entrance, which instills a sense of safety and reassurance. Despite their serious duty, the guards are surprisingly friendly, and I make it a point to exchange greetings with them, as they seem appreciative of the interaction. In terms of pricing, I find the majority of items to be reasonably priced, and I must mention that the cheese pizzas offered here are as good as the Starbucks drinks within the store. Furthermore, the food section is impressively stocked with a variety of options ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables to essential pantry staples like bread and ice cream. The availability of such a comprehensive selection makes it convenient to pick up a few food items while shopping for other necessities. While the layout of the store is generally easy to navigate, finding assistance from staff members can sometimes be a bit challenging. However, I have found that when approached, the employees are consistently friendly and helpful. Despite the occasional difficulty in locating them, their assistance is invaluable when needed.Overall, this Target location in the Bay Area exceeds my expectations and stands out as a top destination for my shopping needs. Its diverse inventory, cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient food selection make it a preferred choice for me."

I am divided about this Target. Lots of questionable activities go on in the parking lot, but the store has great security *indoors.* This is great. What isn't great is that soooo many products are behind security panels and you have to "ring" an attendant to come help you. There's been days where I've waited enough that I have left and gone elsewhere.

I enjoy shopping at this Target as it always seems to have the personal items I need as well as some pantry items. The self-checkout is pretty nice too and there seems to be help readily available when there is a snag. I appreciate the security and the parking lot and have never felt wary there as I would at other places.

Hey Yelpers and Target, I want to preface this review with the fact that this is no way near my first experience at this store location however it was so dark and drab shopping here last Friday that I felt a little sad afterwards. I love to shop so that's weird. lol This visit to Target was more of an impulsive one to kill time, mainly by shifting through the clearance racks as I had just did so at Pinole the night before and was happy with my finds. Well, the lack of stars in this review is mainly for the unfriendly customer service workers and security. I was not greeted. I was not helped. Not even the security guards said a word. What a sad store. This might as well be just the model of in-store shopping with robots or no humans in the store. Just merchandise, security, and self checkout. I guess what really matters is that I purchased a sweater for a reasonable price so OK- all three stars for that. Honestly, I always have had the worst experience at this store so why am I surprised. I'm always happier at Pinole and even Vallejo. .

Warning: Don't buy produce here. If you need toothpaste or pants maybe Target is okay but I made the mistake of purchasing sweet potatoes that turned out to be rotten inside. Someone please tell Target that if you intend to sell produce you will need someone who knows something about produce. You can't merely hire someone to open a crate and pile the produce into a bin. That person needs to know what rotten vegetables are. Also, I find no pleasure in shopping at Fort Knox in which the most mundane commodities are now stored inside locked cases. That, and the rough-looking, mean-looking security guards all-in-all makes me want to look to shop somewhere else. --- I am done with Target Richmond. The end. Shopping elsewhere from now onwards.

The Target on MacDonald Avenue in Richmond was one of my two more frequented Targets near my residence when I lived in Albany. There were slight differences in offerings between this Target, the one in Albany, the one in Pinole, and the one in Emeryville. When seeking one of the products whose flavor was stocked here, this was my number one option. It was also one of the options for when I was out for a driving adventure and returning to the Albany area southbound. Aisles were cleanly and store sections clearly marked. Prices were fair and steady. Merchandise I was looking for was typically in stock. There were also typically open spots in the parking lot, which was nice. On one occasion a woman approached my car and knocked on it when I was in it alone and indicated she was selling something, which as a solo woman made me feel very uncomfortable/not safe. This was an isolated occurrence, however, and the woman was not affiliated with Target.

Was told would honor discount online. Purchased item online and spoke with customer service online and was told price would no longer be honored. Classic Bait and Switch

It was ok. Got what I wanted. The young black man in the cosmetics section was exceptionally nice. But the girl at the check out was very very unfriendly and snobbish for no reason. But the white man behind me on the line cheered me up when he noticed it. So I left feeling better

Employees need to be trained at this store .. I was here today around 10:00 am , asked employee LUZ to help me find out if they had a scale then she replied in Spanish “ pinche gente quieren comprar lo que no tenemos “ she didn’t realize my wife spoke Spanish.

The store was actually well stocked surprisingly but there is a worker named RoLando he went above on helping me on finding certain items I needed. But it was a definite plus on service.

Watch out that shelf sale prices not always honored at checkout. If you protest AFTER it is all rung up, you also get a $5 gift card.If corrected before you pay, you only get the price corrected.
