Three stars are for me the bare minimum for even visiting any establishment. But this place does not deserve 3 stars (not even one)! I went today to return a glass of heavy whipping cream ($3 deposit to get it back). There is only one register that is dedicated to this service. And nobody is in there!!! I ask several employees to help me to find the person or call me a manager. Everyone stated that they were too busy to help me and one of them name Mason was on top of it extremely RUDE. Finally, in about 10 minutes, some lady showed up and did not even apologize, nothing! Unexeptible behavior...manager should be on hand to run the store & help customers...

My favorite go-to. Pricey but fair considering the quality of produce, meats, and cheeses.

Oh my god, what has happened to this store? The manager(s) should be fired. They clearly do not care in any way about their customers. Went there today, had one basket of food. The place was pretty crowded, as it would be at 4:30pm on a weekday. There were only two registers open, with long lines behind each. After almost 15 minutes in line, I finally got to the register, where I encountered the worst, absolute worst, checker I've ever met. I am pretty sure she was purposely trying to be as bad as possible. At no point did she acknowledge that I was there, even when I said hello. No thank you, no goodbye, she just threw the receipt in the bag and pushed it to the side and turned away. At these prices I can't believe the service has become so awful.

Service at the meat counter was terrible. I was a meat cutter for ten years and the clerk they had working was rude, uninformed, and confrontational. I asked for a very common roast (eye of round) and he gave me some runaround story about how the usda doesn't allow them to sell the roast anymore and told me I was mistaken and must be thinking of something else. Invited me to check the back for myself (which due to safety it not allowed) and tried to make me feel as if I was stupid.

While I appreciate Whole Foods as a grocery chain and what it offers, I would like to draw attention to the customer service that I experienced during a recent visit. I encountered a homeless black man who was standing at the entrance to the checkout lane. He was holding a fifth of vodka and soliciting money from customers to purchase it. As the only open checkout lane required me to pass by him, I attempted to avoid him by lingering in the aisles. He eventually attempted to check out and requested a pass from the clerk, which was denied. Rather than leave the premises at that point, he stood at the end of the lane, in close proximity to where paying customers stand watching them as they checked out. As I checked out, I felt apprehensive, especially since I was purchasing alcohol and hoped I wouldn't be hassled. After completing my purchase, I sought out an individual who appeared to be a supervisor or manager, and inquired as to why the individual was not asked to leave the store. I was told that asking him to leave would be discriminatory, and that felt a little personal. I expressed my concern and suggested that it was not a matter of discrimination, but rather an issue of ensuring the safety and well- being of all customers and employees in the store. This fell on deaf ears. While it may be understandable for a farmer's market to be more hesitant to ask a person to move on as it is an outdoor event, the situation changes when it comes to indoor shopping. There is an increased level of responsibility to provide a safe and secure environment for customers and employees in the store.

This is the most non diverse Whole Foods I have ever been to (not following there own mission) They don't hire people of color I can guarantee. When you walk in, there is an amount of grumpy faces. But add some culture, I bet different personalities would make the shopping experience a lot more welcoming. Don't shop here go to TRADER JOES

Decent selection, but not as wide a selection as there are at some other Whole Foods. Always clean, always friendly staff.

Hours says until 10pm. I went in at 7pm and they told me I couldn’t return the Amazon item because their returns was closed. Post your hours so I don’t waste a trip!

Pretty expensive prices, but really good quality products. I really like how much dairy free stuff they have. Also super nice employees that were sooo friendly and really helpful.

Better experience than I expected. When they were bought by Amazon years ago, they often ran very low on stock. This time they had more of what I was looking for.

Title: Disappointing Experience - Whole Foods Market in Redwood CityReview:I recently visited the Whole Foods Market located at 1250 Jefferson Ave in Redwood City, and I was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. While Whole Foods is generally known for quality and service, this specific location was far from meeting those standards. One major issue I encountered was the less-than-welcoming environment created by loss prevention, who followed me around the store. This made for an uncomfortable and intrusive shopping experience, which was quite unsettling.Another point of concern was the pricing. Whole Foods is already on the higher end in terms of grocery costs, but when you factor in poor service, it makes you question the value you're getting for your money.Lastly, the quality of produce left a lot to be desired. There were stale products on the shelves, which is unacceptable for a store that positions itself as a high-quality food retailer. The produce needs a better rotation system to ensure freshness.Overall, this visit was a letdown. The poor service, coupled with overpricing and stale produce, makes it hard to justify another visit to this specific location. I hope to see improvements in the future but until then, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your grocery needs.Rating: ⭐ 1/5

I have felt that the service at RWC has been poor for many years, but today I hit my limit of tolerable. I don't know why the meat department doesn't use numbers to determine who is next. Two customers were helped before me even though I arrived before them & waited for the customer before me to finish. I even moved up to the glass & stood exactly where my items were located. This place is so time consuming just trying to find help or get around unattended workers' carts. And the link to make a comment to corporate isn't complete. It should be as follow: And they assume that they provide good service: Please call our Customer Care team at 1-844-WFM-TALK , and we'll happily share your feedback with the appropriate leadership so that team member (or team members) can get the kudos they deserve. After searching on the website, it seems that Whole Foods is very inefficient. While I am on my tangent, this place is the worst if you are short. So many times items are on the top shelf & nobody is around to help. I grew up in TX & even went to college in Austin. I think I will stick to shopping WF only when I visit TX.

Two stars are for the only good employees there This is no longer a nice shopping experience. Everybody is walking around appearing angry that they have to be at work or the so called managers are slacking off on their cell phones. There is no diversified teams at Whole foods. The food and salad bar cost more but taste worst. Pizza guys are always cranky and defensive. Be prepared for different items to emerge from the package, box or container that you brought. Don't waste your time in this hellhole, visit the San Mateo, Palo Alto, Ingleside and Emeryville (regional office). Actually anywhere but here.

Terrible service. The food (hot bar and pizza oven) was put away before the store was closed. In addition, there were no forks in the dispensers. Who ever is in charge i don't think it takes too much time to notice your inventory that you are low that's basic 101 food management. I have been coming here and it's very inconsistent. They don't hold the standard and that's too bad because some other foods to hold up the standard well good luck just trying to make you better.
