“Coming from a jurisdiction where the provincial aka state government monopoly wine & spirits agency,K&L’s selection is both overwhelming and mind blowing! In a good way… Moreover, their depth and breadth of selection would be wasted without outstandingly knowledgeable product consultants.Whether you are in search of a known brand in wine and/or spirits or an esoteric hard to find one, you’ll benefit from the expert advice. Which is communicated in an insightful, consultative manner by their down to earth staff.A real pleasure to discover and shop at!As they also offer paid guided tastings”

“Love this line-up of restaurants and other life-style businesses. Every shop is professionally run and beautifully maintained. The exterior of Marsh Manor is always clean and well-manicured. The proprietors of the center are doing a great job: if a space opens up due to a business leaving, they work very hard to fill it with another good business!”

“such a great local market and i can walk there from my house! the great thing about the local market is that they carry many local brands, which helps our small local businesses. i especially love the selection of baked goods, pies, breads, scones, all from local bakers. they do carry most of the recognized name brand produce, dairy, cereals, etc...so even if you don't want to buy local, you can still buy the nationally branded items. this market is family-owned, and you can feel that small town, local mom and pop when you're shopping and checking out. you feel welcome, unlike the larger chain supermarkets. although i walk here, there is definitely lots of parking on site and on the street.”

“Great store to grab coffee, donuts, breakfast burritos lunch items, bulk items, taking a minute or two to talk to the staff in the morning is always good. And, they're close by to where I live.”

“The sandwich here and the hot food items here have been consistent for over 15 years. For more than 9$ you can get a sandwich and drink some chips too. The selections here are great variety compared to all others in the area. Thank you again for best service in the RWC.”

“Great place open late too in a city where it has been dead but hopefully more places are following this trendsetter a bit high priced and lacking my personal favorite from time to time or id give it a five”

“Service here is excellent, and the owner is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable, some of night staff not to friendly, but the owner and his wife make you feel welcomed and take time to work with you. This is the main liquor store I go to because of ambiance, as well as prices. Give it a try and compare it to the once great PENINSULA LIQUORS!”

“Let start off with the basics sandwich services, they are basic. The drink selection though is massive and they have some great mirco brews available that aren't at other retailers. They have other small market selections, chips and candies, etc . I would not call the place super nice but it is a decently stocked liquor store and deli. Staff was a nice once she warmed up and then she was great but it took a bit.”

“My brothers and I have been coming to this liquor store for over 20 years. The petite, very, extremely, fantastic customer service oriented lady behind the counter is my favorite. I give her so much sarcastic s*** about her store and she happily hand it right back to me. Watch out for those korean women. Overall they have a very wide selection of beers, even more so than that recockulous mexican grocery store across the street. They keep this property clean inside and out. I usually come in to get lotto tickets and the occasional 6-pack of beer. I just wish they would stock my favorite must have at all times gum. Dentyne Ice "peppermint" P.s. If you need "change", you have to buy something first.”

“While visiting California, my good friend Tony brought me to this place to pick up some smokes & found out that he doesn't go here for the prices, hard to find cigarettes or liquor even. It's the customer service & conversation. Great guy who runs the place. See you in a couple weeks during my visit.”

“It is a "Liquor Store", this much is a fact, as 3 long rows of spirits display themselves immediately when entering. And yes, snacks and soft drinks and "things" that such business generally carry, where also present at Roosevelt Liquor& Grocery.I didn't see to much of actual items that would qualify to belong under the category of "Groceries". But this made no negative impact, since we where present, solely for the first part of the name of this store. Ok, actually second: The Liquor.A fine selection; this older, politely shy, smiling gentleman most definitely was the proud owner of! We found some "rare spirits(21 and over) at a very reasonable price! The store was small, but clean! Every available square inch in this place, was intelligently utilised, without appearing to be overstuffed or to ambitious; as can often be found with other businesses of the same or similar genre. We did almost miss this place though, as the lighting was dim. In and outside! But no problem! It's never a bad thing to be environmentally conscious, such as not letting your faucet drip. Turning of appliances one doesn't use. Taking the bike to work. Using one lightbulb at a business, instead of internet suggested 5 or 6.Satisfied with our purchase, and not haven gotten ripped off, this late at night, a bit away from the main strip, was key! ( Holiday Season Mistake nr. 3).Thank you, friendly "Roosevelt Liquor & Grocery" store Owner for being open late! Stay safe Everyone!”

“I don't drink but had to pick up some beer for a friend's party recently. This place seems well stocked and even has a small section for snacks, foods, cups, etc. Their beer section also had a fair amount of local beers (which I wanted). It was about $15-$20 for a four pack for most beers. You will need to show your ID to get it scanned at checkout. There is also a small parking lot outside.”

“I'm switching from Safeway to Nob Hill! Prices are cheapest around per unit, so you get the best value here. I saved over $100 on my grocery bill compared to Safeway. It's also got a nice layout and clean bathrooms. Never understaffed, and the cashier unloads your cart for you and the baggers pack everything nicely. They have a rewards program as well. And as if that weren't enough, they apparently also have Beer on Tap?? Best grocery store ever!”

“My original 1 star rating below to show what an ungrateful, entitled, hypocritical, know it b I can be. The staff was friendly despite being understaffed. i should be dead or in jail for the stuff I have done to harm myself, my family and society and yet I waltz into Safeway like I'm some baller superstar? God, I'm a delusional p**** sometimes. Much love wood side Safeway!!!! First draft Horrible! No self checkout. Never any checkers. U end up leaving your stuff and walking out. Ate their whole roasted chicken once and it was like eating vomit. I literally threw up. Staff could not care less.”
