My problem is with Spectrum in general, not with the store in Redding. Spectrum loses connection a lot. They are unreliable. And I requested twice a record of outgoing calls many months ago, but never received it.

This sure looks like the Charter/Spectrum complaint site! No one seems to post here unless they have a complaint or gripe about their TV or internet! Yelp is like that, a place to vent your rage, but this really doesn't give a complete picture of the total customers views, mostly because if everything goes well, people don't post about that, that just assume it's supposed to work and that's it. Look up reviews of any public utility, like PG&E! If Charter or Spectrum were THAT bad, the business would have failed long ago.I moved into my place in Red Bluff and called to get the internet hooked up. I've cut the TV cord, there's enough to see on Netflix and Amazon and a bunch of other stuff on my Roku device. That all thru the internet. All I needed was the internet connection and WiFi. I do wish there was a service center in Red Bluff.Service is just fine, I mean the internet connection. When I have to come to this service center, I make an appointment and the wait is not long at all. The tech replaced my older modem and router no prob, cause I get my equipment thru Spectrum, that way if something breaks or gets old, I get a free upgrade!Speed is super fast 370Mbs+, way faster than I need, but it's good to have. I really got no complaints about Spectrum at all.

Extremely disrespectful of people's time. Very slow service and on purpose. If you can get a different option I would. If you are doing anything that's not starting a new service they treat you like trash and ignore you're existence. Toni and Thomas couldn't be less helpful. Glad I switched

Iam so angry with Spectrum here in Redding. I have a handicapped sister who I have power of attorney over. She has developmental disabilities. She lives alone, has satellite tv on my Dish account. Spectrum solicits door to door targeting seniors with free offers that turn out to be not so free. I have done everything possible to keep them from calling her, sending her contracts and showing up at her door. She is a very easy target because she doesn't understand. They won't stop!! Today I had to call the company and sign a written form for them to stop harassing my sister. They are relentless. They say they don't call or knock on your door soliciting. They are liars. These people are terrible.

I had the pleasure of having Austin assist me the other day. I had lots of questions, needed an upgrade on one phone, and another phone activated. Austin was so knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to answer all my questions, had excellent customer service skills, and was quick and efficient. I was so appreciative of him! Good job Spectrum and thank you Austin!!

My parents and I have had spectrum WiFi for years. My parents WiFi from the very start almost NEVER worked. My mom worked full time from home so this was a big issue. We contacted spectrum multiple times, had multiple different workers come out and say there is nothing wrong with it. Anything that was connected to our spectrum wifi would either not load anything unless wifi was turned off or wifi would just kick you off on its own. After about a year of this my parents had to buy a new modem themselves because spectrums don’t work and often times wouldn’t do anything about it. I have used them for over a year now and I will say pretty much nothing about them is easy, hassle free, or works how it should. My wifi was great for about 6ish months. I was really surprised and glad it was working for us. But after that it has done nothing but have problems. Being really slow, not loading things, and kick us off of WiFi too. We live in pretty small apartment with not a lot of electronics. I’ve rebooted/turned it off more times than I can count and still 60% of the time doesn’t work or is extremely slow. I would not recommend spectrum to anyone.

I highly recommend making an appointment here. The wait is absolutely painful. I've been here for about an hour. I've seen people walk in "for just a quick question" because the clerk spoke spanish. Needless to say, he chewed up about15 minutes of valuable time that could have been spent on the legit people that did the proper things and checked in.One clerk just said, "I'm going to lunch." with at least 8 people in line. Kinda poor customer service in my opinion.

This place is worse than the Dmv.takes forever to get any customer service.no kind of options with apps or online.the store is hell,and the wait on the phone is terrible.In the store there was a line of five and it took almost two hour to get seen.they gave me free internet and I could give it back quick enough.the worse help assistance time wait ever,not even the irs took this long

After reading the reviews of this store I was very skeptical since they were mostly negative. I wanted the good discounts they offer and was going to give it a chance so I stopped by expecting the “hour long wait” some reviews complained about. I was helped within two minutes. Thomas was very helpful, articulate, on task, and answered all my questions. I was in and out in ten minutes. I’m not sure what the over reviews are about but my personal experience was quick, and easy which is all I could ask for. Thank you Thomas, I hope you get a raise!

The absolute worst. Went in to pick up a new modem and the employee didn’t close out my account when I left and put three cell phone lines under my account for the customers behind me. I have no cell service through Spectrum and after seeing this debacle, never EVER would. After HOURS of phone calls and explaining the situation to 10+ different departments was told it was finally taken care of only to find out it was not in fact taken care of. Time to start researching alternate internet providers.

Had an appt for 320 and they blew us off until 330. The minute we got the text that it was our turn they instead helped other customers with no appointment. Then we waited and waited. They have the worst IT and customer service and policies ever!

Absolutely the most incompetent bunch of people I’ve ever encountered. This is my third visit in three weeks trying to cancel my parents internet. With 15 people waiting, four of the 5 workers disappear for a half hour. Then a guy walks in from off the street, himself on the waiting list, walks up to the counter and spends a half hour chitchatting with the one worker that was there. The manager should be fired.

Just left spectrum after waiting 1 hour. I was #7 in line when I signed in. There were 3 employees helping customers. Once they were finished with those customers, the employees went in the back and never came out. 1 hour later I was still #7 in line. There was 1 employee still helping the same customer. The line was up to 25 customers.
