Absolutely, the best! I did a lot of homework before I selected Hemsted's. They were awesome. Professional, on time, and overall made us feel so comfortable with our out of state move. Sam, our driver, is the best. His crew of Arnie, Wade and Scott, not to mention Reggie and Zig at our destination were all so great. I cannot say enough about how great they were. Great communication every step of the way. They did exactly what they said they would do and everything arrived in great condition. They made this transition for us very easy and stress free. Look nowhere else, these guys are the best. And thank you, Sam, for taking special care of some of our special glassware. You are the best! Thank you, Mark, our coordinator, for helping us and John the estimator and Bob for finalizing details. Love you guys!

We can't say enough how appreciative we are for the help Hemsted's has done for us. Unfortunately, we did not know about Hemsteds and booked with an internet company 4 months in advance to move us from Redding California to Colorado. We thought we had done our due diligence checking an online company with reviews and felt comfortable with the sales person we had contact with several times. When the day to move arrived, we received a call from the company that the movers would not be there that day and they "were working on it" when they might be able to come. We were closing escrow and could not wait for an answer. Fortunately, 1 week before our move we heard about Hemsteds from a friend who used them to move across the country 7 years ago. We called them to get a back up quote just "in case" our biggest concern came true (movers not showing up). Bob, the owner came to Shingletown where we lived to give us a quote and told us he would be our "life line" if problems happen. When we got the call the movers weren't coming, we immediately called Bob on a Friday afternoon. Monday morning he had a crew of 4 very efficient, professional, and courteous movers get all our stuff in 2 trucks and stored them until he could find a truck to go to Colorado. This allowed us to vacate the house and drive to Colorado. We expected since we were a last minute move, that our stuff could be 2-4 weeks in arriving. On the day we arrived at our new home in Colorado, we received a call that they were sending a truck with all of our things to arrive 5 days later! They arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. Brian, the driver, and his hired local mover were extremely courteous, efficient, and patient with us. We did not have one thing broken or lost! Additionally, Hemsteds did not require a deposit before moving, whereas the online mover required a 20% deposit that we had put down 4 months before our move (and only have received half of this back so far). Hemsteds is extremely professional, reasonably priced, and comes through on their promises. Thank you so much Bob and the crew at Hemsted's!!!

After speaking with Mr. Wilson, he likes to refer to himself that way. He spoke of an employee that he "pays to answer the phones and NOT flap their lips". Our stuff arrived!!!! They did a great job!!! Both movers were quick, professional and timely. Everything about them was great! However, I did get a lot of crap from one of the organizers at the home office that I was having my yard sale on the day the movers decided to show. Actually was berated. Having said that, I would give them more of my business. Professional and quick. Scott is a great ally in the office. Mark is a cheering force you'll need because moving is stressful enough. If you get a chance to get out of the crap hole Redding is, use these guys. Just a great experience. As for the gentleman who posted the video of Bob upset, I ask you to check yourself. My guess is that you were the a*** not Bob. Thanks Guys!!!!

As a real estate broker in Shasta County I rely on a select group of service providers for my clients needs. When it comes to moving a Grand piano in town or the whole house across the country Bob and his team at Hemsted's have been flawless. They respond quickly and very professional and organized, don't overlook the office staff, Shelly took my call at 10 am to move a piano and store it and at 3 pm Bob's crew had it carefully wrapped and transported from the property. Thanks guys, your efficiency is greatly appreciated by every client I have referred your way.

Bob Wilson is a moving-sensei. When I called Hemsted's Moving and Storage and explained that I had 2 weeks to move out of a house I had lived in for 26 years, Bob came over the next day. With his calm guidance and experienced advice (I may have been a bit panicked), the move was organized and executed in a timely manner. He even delivered packing supplies to my front door and replenished them when I ran out. The moving crew was professional and courteous. They showed up on time and worked at a steady pace.

Hemsted's has moved us several times over the years, and we wouldn't think of hiring anyone else! The owner, Bob Wilson, is extremely fair and accurate with his estimates, as he comes to our home personally, walking through each and every room of our home and storage areas asking questions to accurately estimate and explain our move and the process. The "movers" themselves are careful with our belongings, and pack everything with care. We haven't found anything lost or broken...ever! Great company! We highly recommend Hemsted's! Thanks for another great move!

We had a wonderful experience with Hemsted Moving from Bob the owner coming to our house to give us a bid. Shelly was very courteous and helpful to send workers out to help with our packing and to also keep me informed during the whole process. The movers that loaded our truck were fast and very efficient. The men that delivered our furniture were great Dave was especially on top of everything and made sure everything was done properly. I won't move forward after meeting with the owner today for an estimate. My wife and are downsizing and much of what we have accumulated over the last 46 years won't fit. The plan is to sell and/or donate much of it so all we are moving is our bedroom, living room and about 50% of the kitchen. I have already moved everything out of the garage. Bob seemed to be upset by this and was telling me what we were going to do, ultimately storming out of my home. I followed him out asking what I did wrong, all I want is an estimate to which he came back and told me off using expletives including the f-bomb then told me to rent a U-Haul because he wouldn't move me. Unnecessary, unprofessional, unacceptable and juvenile. If my move is too small or he doesn't believe what I plan to move he has the option of politely declining my business not speaking to me with anger and vulgarities.

We used Hemsted's moving and storage to move us to Nevada. Having many large items, a very large safe, heavy furniture and pictures. Everything arrived the day after they picked it up and in excellent condition. Scott and Dave delivered our belongings and worked very hard to set everything up. They were always communicating with us to ask where we would like our things to go and was very careful not to allow the walls or belongings to get damaged. Jennifer in the Redding office was also a pleasure to work with to set things up. I would highly recommend them and would certainly use them again. They were all very helpful and professional.

My Dad used Hemsted Moving and I can't rate them highly enough. Their crew for both move out and move in were extremely fast polite and professional. Most importantly they were extremely respectful of my dad who has mobility and speech issues
