My motorhome broke down in Yreka at the Walmart. I was waiting for parts to fix it when it was towed by Lake City Towing out of Redding, California. I'm from Grants Pass, Oregon.75 miles north of Yreka. They towed it 90 mi south of Yreka to Redding, making it impossible for me to pay the $4000 ÷ tow bill to get it back.It had everything in it. My birth certificates, clothes , fishing poles , golf clubs, wallet, safe with my jewelery in it. When I tried to call them they wouldn't answer the phone, or even call me back. There's nothing but Crooks. I tried to call at least 30 to 40 times ,nobody would ever call me back. They suck.

Needed a tow after a flat tire. The young man ( Bobby?) was prompt, professional and friendly. He was very patient and accommodating and the price was more than fair. I would absolutely recommend them.

Lake City Towing not only saved me immeasurable time, money, and hassle, they've managed to restored some faith in humanity. They went the extra mile for me and severely mitigated what could have turned into a crisis.While driving home to Oregon right before New Years, my truck's transmission died on I-5. Most places were closed and I had very little time to secure a rental car. I was scrambling and frantic, but was lucky enough to get a hold of Lake City Towing. The tow truck was already dispatched elsewhere, so Gary and his fiancée Shannon personally came out to meet me and grab my truck's keys to ensure I could get into a cab ASAP and secure a rental car to continue my trip home. Without their proactivity and help, I would have been stuck for days instead of merely hours. I'm so grateful for all their help. The world needs more people like Gary and Shannon.

Quick service..friendly..had my husbands truck towed at midnight...Shannon was great..efficient and still smiling even tho it was late!!

Excellent service! Truck broke down along I-5 and they showed up in less than 20 minutes. Gave me a tow to the local auto parts store, replaced my alternator, charged my battery, and I was on my way. All in less than 1.5 hours. I would highly recommend this company. Good hardworking people!

Zero stars . . . This guy Gary.. who runs it acts like a baby ! Him and his wife are arguing with me over where I want to unload a vehicle I told him it was not his business what I was doing . . . So he towed it all the way back from down town redding where it was going to be worked on. . . too Shasta lake city said 150 per hour then said 300 per hour and finally said he would take it for 1500 so it could be choped up . . . Never did I say I wanted to give it too him . . . Cops show up and chat for several hours in the heat . . . Then say he's taking it to his yard . . . Where I will have to pay him some outrageous price . . . Lame another scamer

The owner Gary went above and beyond to get us and our motorhome safely off the highway. He and his mechanic came back the next day and put a serpentine belt on our motor and got us on our way to Oregon. Gary's the greatest. Thanks buddy.

Lake City Towing is the best. They saved me when my truck broke down hauling my horse trailer (with a horse). Brought truck and trailer to their yard, fixed the truck and got me back on my way in no time - on a Sunday. While my truck was being fixed, the owner's wife Shannon took care of my horse (she is an experienced horsewoman). Everyone hauling horses in the area should have their number handy. Thank you!
