As a designer I have sold many of the Scandinavian Design sofas and sectionals. My favorite and my clients is the recliner sectionals in leather. Scandinavian Designs has great customer service and delivers with a smile. I truly can depend on this place for my modern go to place.

Update: After corporate responded to my original review I called the store and spoke with the manager, Rick. Apparently there were a number of miscommunications. When I explained to him the exact situation he agreed to take my case to corporate which saw my point of view and agreed to extend the sale price. I purchased the sofa and chair yesterday. While I can't give the overall experience 5 stars, I do think an upgrade from the original 1 star is very appropriate. I would shop there again, but will be very careful to have a clear understanding of pricing and terms. ---- ORIGINAL REVIEW ----- On February 19th we went to the store to look for a sofa. We found a sofa and chair that were on sale and which we liked very much. We were in the process of having another chair recovered and asked the sales person if we could wait a few days for the chair to be delivered so we could bring in a cushion to compare fabrics and colors. He told us that wasn't a problem. We went back on February 23rd with the cushion in hand, and we all agreed that the fabric and color would work fine. But then I noticed the sale tag was gone and I asked about it. He told me the sale was over. I asked why he didn't' tell us it was expiring and he said he'd speak to the manager about it and see if we could get the sale price. The manager refused and said after 3 days it was a corporate decision. Had we been told it was expiring we would have gotten the fabric from the upholsterer. But we feel it was wrong of him not to tell us that the sale price was going to disappear in 72 hours, and we think it was wrong of the manager to refuse to honor the sale price. Be careful about shopping at Scandinavian Designs. The price you see may not be the price you'll be expected to pay.

We love the sofa we bought. And, we appreciate the honesty in following through with their price guarantee. Shortly after we bought, they put that sofa on sale. They refunded the difference without even any hesitation. Great company. Great products. Disclaimer....we don't have any affiliation with them, just a satisfied customer.

I was in the process of furnishing my home in Palm Springs while still living in New York . I was referred to Scandinavian Designs as a great source of furniture. I ended up purchasing items over the phone speaking with Scott at their Rancho Mirage store and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to order the things I liked with the assurance if I saw them in the showroom and I didn’t like them I could always cancel the order . Everything that came looks great and good quality, I ended up ordering more once I arrived into town . Delivery service was on time and efficient and professional. Overall a great experience.

Fabulous customer service both in person and over the phone. We have purchased multiple pieces to furnish our new house in Palm Desert. Scandinavian Designs had just what we were looking for. The delivery people were fantastic as well. They waited while I attached felt to the bottoms of pieces and when I was in the other room, they put the felt on for me. They bring a little vacuum to clean up after themselves!

Buyer Beware for Fuchsia Dining Chairs. I purchased six chairs in 2018. By 2022 three of the chair backs became "Un-glued". I returned to Scandinavian Designs where I purchased the chairs and explained the issues. They said to glue them back together. I attempted but it did not work. In 2023 two more chairs became "un-glued". Frustrated I gave up on Scandinavian Designs. Yesterday I was shopping for new dining chairs and came across Scandinavian Designs Rancho Mirage...tempted I went into the same store where I initially purchased the initial chairs mentioned above. I was SHOCKED to see the SAME chairs on display for sale! I asked the Sales Rep Scott if there were any problems with the chairs and wood becoming un-glued (I explained my situation). The Sales Rep would not commit to answering my question. Needles to say,Buyer Beware! "Knowingly" Scandinavian Designs continues to sell "flawed" chairs.

We love shopping at Scandinavian Design! Great quality, good prices and helpful staff - what’s not to like? Scott was a great help to us and we love the look in our new desert home! We bought new living room furniture as well as outdoor for our patio - it all looks fabulous!
