There was a bit of a wait in line and it took a while to fill the script. It was acceptable. There's a little room for improvement. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional.

We just flew in to Palm Springs and I was not feeling good at all. We stopped at Albertsons Pharmacy and the gates were closed in the Pharmacy. There was a man behind the counter that was closing up. I asked him if I could ask him a question and with a very welcoming smile he asked how he could help. He responded, I came back the next day to pick up a script. Scott Hohmann called me by name and asked how I was feeling. Very Impressed! Thanks!!!

This pharmacy was the worst pharmacy I've ever encountered. First they only partially filled my prescription and told me to get the rest at another pharmacy. Then I went to the other pharmacy and they said it had already been filled at the first one and I couldn't remedy the situation until the next day with the original pharmacy. The hospital then sent a second prescription to Albertsons (Sav-On), and they filled that and put it in holding. When I called today to have them switch the pharmacy to my home pharmacy in Los Angeles, their worker (Robert) was short, rude, and hung up on me.I would advise anyone who is dealing with a medical situation that requires quick action to AVOID this Sav-On in Albertsons. Worst service ever. If this were life threatening ... well, you do the math.

This is my go to grocery store. I am there at least every other day. The register people and meat dept are so helpful. All this to say, I decided to transfer my prescriptions for convenience. I was pleasantly surprised when a gentleman named David Kardos (district manager) was extremely helpful...he suggested that if my Dr approved I could change a formulation and save $100. In this exchange I asked about the $75 grocery incentive offer for transferred prescriptions, which he went directly to the tech (Robert) and said make sure she gets that. My MD changed my prescription while I was there, so it gave me time to shop and get back in line to finalize my purchase. This is where it all changed. Scott Hohmann, (the pharmacist) got involved. The formulation wasn't correct and he dismissed me as if my business meant nothing. He asked me to get out of line until I get it resolved and that he didn't have the medication that was suggested. I stepped out of line and decided I would just pick up the one that was ready. I got back in line and when I got to the front again I requested the one that was ready and asked how to get the initial $25 incentive for transferred prescriptions. I was informed rudely by a female tech named "Scilla" (I think) that I do not qualify because I had filled a completely different prescription 4 yrs ago. I asked if David Kardos was still there...she said no. She went and got Scott Hohmann to reinforce the "No" and he proceeded to come over annoyed and demeaning by loudly saying a couple times "do you want me to lose my job!".I walked away and people in line empathized with my plight... one even said "welcome to Albertsons".

I have lived here in the desert since 2017 and I absolutely love this pharmacy. I have always been treated with care and respect. I have had COVID and flu shots here, as well as having my prescriptions filled. The pharmacists are so helpful and answer (with patience) any questions I may have on a med. I really feel comfortable and safe purchasing my medications here.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy. They won’t accept any prescriptions from Drs or dentists unless done electronically. They say law. They won’t even call dr or dentist to verify. Took my prescription to CVS. And they filled my procedure pills same day. If it’s a law please note on website.

We have been shopping here for almost 4 years and have been very happy. The store is very clean and the employees work hard. My only complaint is they discontinued my Turning Leaf Chardonnay.

After shopping there for almost three years I was very pleasantly surprised to find, sort of hidden away, my beloved Ronzoni Pasta, specifically Spaghetti No 8. This was my NY Italian mothers go to pasta for weekend pasta dinners. As I have had a need to go back to NY one a month, I usually stop by a store and buy my stash of Ronzoni and fly back with it in my luggage. It's located at the very end of the pasta isle. Thank you Albertsons. Btw, they also have my other childhood favorite Locatelli cheese. Another staple for pasta night.
