I am from out of town visiting family, and went to Albertsons which the staff was rude on accommodating a last minute sandwich platter.
I called Vons Deli Department, and the Manager Annie was able to accommodate a small sandwich platter last minute.
I very much appreciate the customer service at Vons and how helpful they were on such short notice.

The cashiers and clerks are friendly, helpful and upbeat. They even go out of their way to help you save money and your purchases. This place is my go to store.

They hide lower prices behind installing an app... So they can track and sell information about your purchases to other companies that also have your advertising id. I do not want to support this, and will vote with my wallet to shop elsewhere

Love this Vons for online orders thru the app. They usually make great replacements and I'm grateful for that. They don't go over what I originally paid. Sometimes I get about to expire deli meats though and produce that has seen better days. I wish those selections could be better! Otherwise, I really appreciate the order pickers!! Thank you! Also, doesn't take long for pick up in my experience.

Background: We aren't from Rancho Cucamonga, we came last night Dec.17,2023. Stopped to get snacks to wait in the long lines for the 8287 Thoroughbred St Christmas Lights. I was in all black and cardigan we walked in and were racially profiled by this white bigger sized/tall asl well w/ white hair male was following us around and asked rudely what was it that we were there for! we just got chips and paid for them!!!! Guy with glasses at service center was nice and atleast directed me find the restroom. And going back to being profiled all 3 of us are US born citizens, they are lighter skinned, I am a little more tan and my partner is in the USMC.

I used to buy small packages of fresh ginger from the deli here. Apparently they don't sell it that way anymore so I walked up and asked the sushi chef if they had any fresh ginger, she looked me dead in the face and said no. well there was a whole gallon box sitting right in front of her as she was preparing sushi! I said what's that? she said yeah that's for the sushi. I said so you don't sell it separately any longer? and she said no. you know the least she could've done was give me a freaking sample how effing rude! I will never shop there ever ever again and I will tell my friends not to. I needed that ginger for my sick friend .

I went to Vons to get a birthday cake and somethings and the overall visit to get what I needed was great. What wasn't great was the Cashier named Sarah. When she was ringing up our items she had an attitude, looking like she didn't like her job. Then when she was giving me my total she asked me how much I gave her...as a retail worker myself I know one of my duties is to count the amount I'm given to make sure I get the proper amount incase I receive too much or to little. I think maybe the staff should know how to count money or receive special training if they do not know. I'm glad I'm an honest person but I feel maybe training is important and also to serve with a good attitude to keep customers

I placed an order on October 19th and your delivery person took it to the wrong house I never received the order and I was told I would be refunded asap to this day I still don’t have my money I have called the store several times as well as chats to no avail ! This is horrible! I would never recommend ?

You know... I've been coming to this Ons since I was 14 and I'm 35 now and the service has gotten progressively worse over the years. There is consistency with the cashiers because they are predominantly the same people. I went in today for a quick collect and the guy I asked for western Union looked confused and pretty much like he's being forced to work. He called over the intercom and a woman with glasses and braids came out and my back was turned and she said, "What do you need?" I'm sorry, am I bothering you? I then told her I needed a "quick collect" firm. "Whats that?" she asks me... Uhm YOU work here, right?! I said, "I need to pay a bill and I need the blue quick collect form." She just stares with her arms in a shrug position.... I said, "it's western Union. Her response... "That's at 10:30." Where has the customer service gone where people just speak to people ANY kind of way. No professionalism or decorum. Just rude and matter-of-fact. I get the younger people because they are "special" breed, not excusing them, but these adults... omg... Vons do better with your employee selection. I didn't ask ANY of you to take this job so don't treat customers like we are responsible for your life choices. YOU chose this job..... YOU.

I've recently relocated to Rancho Cucamonga and have been shopping at this Vons pretty exclusively. Up until now, the employees have been friendly and competent. I got into a checkout line with a short, dark haired woman named Sarah. First of all, she was chatting with the bagger and didn't even bother to acknowledge me. Ok, no big deal. I noticed that the Gatorade wasn't ringing up on the 10 for $10 and asked if it was a digital coupon that I needed to clip. She didn't even answer and the bagger finally said it should come off at the end. Then she scanned my chicken that had a manager's coupon on it but didn't remove the coupon to scan it. I nicely asked if she had seen the coupon on the chicken and she responded "It will come off at the end" with a sarcastic attitude. I know that's not the case with the manager coupon so I said that it was a manager's discount coupon. At this point the bagger takes the chicken out and gets the coupon to give to the cashier. She tries to scan it and I don't hear any beep, but I felt hesitant to say anything else because of how rude and reactive this cashier was being. So I paid and walked out. When I checked my receipt outside, none of the discounts had been applied. So I have to come back in and take it to the customer service desk. Luckily I had an extremely nice and helpful employee named Louis who quickly fixed it and refunded my money. Sarah needs an attitude adjustment, though. Maybe a job in customer service isn't the best choice for her.
