called us to join Hillside community church We must say it has been a beautiful and amazing discovery filled with Christ love and lots of unity equipped with various groups of fellowship and great support for many of our needs. Whoever answers the front desk phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. If you’re working for a church I feel you would desire to represent Christ well…. Especially those calling in. You don’t know who is on the other line and what message you’re sending by being rude. “Do everything to the glory of God.” Fruits of the spirit.. KINDNESS. Made us altogether decide not to attend.

I’m a 2nd generation global evangelical missionary and not a judgmental Christian by any means. I pray this church truly has a “come to Jesus” revival. I wouldn’t come back here to save my life though. Neither the father the son and especially not the Holy Spirit frequents this establishment. The ushers/security were so pushy and creepy with their “assistance” that it was off putting. I had to insist multiple times that my wife didn’t need help when we were outside the service with our newborn because she “couldn’t seem to find the restroom” (it was our first time there…… I also witnessed the same usher try to repeatedly insist that he would take a woman’s young boy to the men’s room for her as she insisted against it multiple times. The worship was extremely rehearsed and inauthentic with the smoke machines and synchronized waving of hands that was obviously just a show. The commercials between worship and sermon were like an informercial for attendance and I had very deep warnings coming from every bit of my spirit regarding the leadership. The pastor did not ask the congregation he ordered them as when to close their eyes and what to do during his sermon, I felt like I was being talked to like a child. The most powerful thing about this place was the overpowering bass speakers that were reverberating in our chests like a rock concert. If this were the only church I could attend I would worship at home and listen to sermons online. I’m sorry to be so negative but I am called to ultimate honestly.

We were looking for a community of believers in Jesus to join and gather with. Those of like minded hearts and we were led to join this Treasure on Earth, Hillside Community Church. We truly recommend you visit and join the LOVE of God on earth as it is in Heaven.

Non denominational church. Parking at the church is ok. Bus shuttles from Chaffey College on Sunday mornings.Bible based church.Children's Sunday school rooms are upstairs. The elevator is near the coffee bar in the rear. Coffee bar serves all kinds of coffees. Bring a sweater, it's usually cold in the bldg. Communion is offered 1st Sunday of each month. Biblestudy classes are offered for all ages: junior high, high school, college ages, young adult, seniors, women's bible study, and men's also.

How can I even start? If you're ever in doubt of what church to go to; Hillside is the right fit. Hillside does an incredible job with helping people get involved, having amazing worship services, and very sound teaching taught throughout the sermons. I love the environment that the church has and the staff and volunteers are always warm and welcoming. All of the pastors are incredible and put effort into their work. Truth be told, Jesus is moving in every aspect of this church, whether it's in Kids Ministry, Students Ministries, or Young Adults; Jesus is being preached. Volunteering here has never been a burden or regret for me since I joined. If my friend didn't invite me to Hillside back last year, I wouldn't have found my faith in Jesus. Hillside Community Church, you have done wonders and are constantly building God's ministry every sunday. God bless every one of you.

Love this church! They do such an amazing job with the groups, involvement, and very sound doctrine that is preached. The Holy Spirit has been working in every aspect of this church. God bless Hillside ✝️

I was there yesterday had an argument with a woman who says she’s a speaker and I asked her if she’s a pastor . Nowhere in the Bible says u can be a pastor . 2 Timothy tells that’s you must be silent woman. 1 core 14:34 then she told me it was my opinion . I won’t be coming back because they believe in their own opinions and not what the king James says. Just because it was translated means the same thing. U all know who she is . She’s speaking next week is what she told me. Preach with men not woman . Woman can talk to woman but not to men as a pastor

I absolutely love this church! I feel the power of God. You will feel motivated and ready to take on the day that/week. You just have to experience it for yourself but I honestly can't say enough how amazing this place is.

Hillside is an awesome church. There is plenty of service opportunities and people are friendly and accepting. They have a growing youth ministry and activities for all ages. Check out their website for more info.
