The park is good for those who love cycling - there is a wonderful bike path along the river, but otherwise I would not overestimate this vacation spot.Playground: Quite a comfortable and varied playground for children, I like it.Restrooms: The toilet is in the center of the park, quite convenient.Dog-friendliness: A separate large enclosure for walking dogs, with benches and chairs, everything is thought out and made for convenience.Picnic area: Quite a lot of tables, benches in the picnic area, barbecue, nearby an artificial pond with birds, beautiful, comfortable, cute.

Nice park with good trails by American River. Around spring, there are many good places for a photo shoot. Definitely recommend outdoor activities and exerciseDog-friendliness: There is a dog park so your furry friend can exercise too.Picnic area: Many good spots for family picnic

This park is our new favorite place to visit with my family. It is right next to the bike trail and the river and perfect to get some fresh air and relax. My child absolutely loves the animals that are next to the barn which includes a goat, chickens, ducks, and even a donkey! My child loves riding on his scooter on the paved sidewalk. The park has so many attractions and a little bit of everything for everyone. There is even a dog park!Dog-friendliness: Special area designated for dogs and it’s always fuller than the kids playgroundPicnic area: Perfect right next to the river and the special pond they have with ducks

Wonderful community resource next to the American RiverPlayground: Nice swings for kids!Restrooms: The nicer one is on the south side of the park by the community swimming poolDog-friendliness: One of the best dog parks!Picnic area: Excellent picnic tables and lots of them. See my pic of the pavilion.... nice place for a big picnic event!

Plenty of large trees to walk under with a dog, explore paths or off trail. The area along the river is beautiful with lots of different birds. Tons of grassy areas to play catch or practice things. A place I will go back to for sure.Dog-friendliness: Multiple Sectioned dog park with lots of space and shade and grass. Lots of areas to walk dogs along the grass or trails.
