I will be recommending Carpets Plus to all of my clients! I ordered Coretec flooring and had it installed by Carpets Plus. Terry came over multiple times to make sure I loved the product and the color was perfect for my home. Serge and Yuri did a fantastic job with installation. They kept my home as clean as possible during the install, they were polite and considerate, they did any touch ups that were necessary. I am very happy with my new floors and the process.

Service is great. Sales & the from desk clerk is super helpful. When I left a message, I received a return call the next day. When I bought laminate floors, the customer service rep helped me load the product in the car. I definitely recommend buying product from this business!

It takes a special sort of lack of integrity to tell someone "at least we're not avoiding your phone calls or anything" prior to avoiding someone's phone calls for better than a month.Since July, I've been looking for straight answers on a flooring product that is warranted (verified with the manufacturer directly) but hasn't yet been submitted to them for a claim by the seller/installer (also verified). The reps here get awfully emotional about something as simple as a failed floor.I brought my business here for 20 years, and it was always a high-integrity outfit. Sadly, it seems, the original owner sold.The new owner of Carpet's Plus will brag to you on the phone about how many millions of dollars of product he moves from big named flooring companies, but can't stand behind a 211 square foot failure that looks like it was caused by the resident being wheelchair bound, not a one-time leaky dishwasher event, according to three different professionals I had take a look.Not sure I'll ever get the call-back I've been promised, or that they'll ever submit for the warranty coverage, as requested, but I figured maybe letting other people know about the issue will get some attention.Nice folks when your money is still in your pocket, once it's in their pocket, you're dead to them. Very professional and on time, on budget. The team of installers were very detail oriented and know the industry. We had most floors changed and it was crazy, they moved furniture and cleaned as they went. Melissa is the best, we needed special treatment.

Worked with Melissa at Carpets Plus for a carpet install on one of our rental properties. Timing had to be spot on in order to get it ready for a new tenant.Melissa was super quick and responsive throughout the process. Very clear with pricing and timelines. Installer did a fantastic job and left the worksite very clean.Can’t recommend them enough

*** I have never been treated so badly ****I bought hard surface for the entire house back in May this year. The interaction was fine at first, but fell apart at the end.After the floors were installed, I found several small problems. I texted the owner Terry, left messages, and emailed the staff. There were no answers for weeks. By then I was already feeling frustrated and ignored. I was starting to think that they don't want to take care them. I was even planning on finding an outside contractor and take care of them myself.Weeks later, I finally got some help. They came by, fixed two of the problems, but missed one.So I brought it up to Terry that there is still one big hole in the stairs. I explained that the problem was not new. It had been reported several weeks ago. I felt the need to emphasize that because I don't want him to think I'm finding a new excuse to delay paymentGuess what happened next: Terry went full hostile, called me on the phone, yelled at me from the top of his lungs for 30 seconds, and hung upThis is not an isolated instance. If you look at other 1-star reviews on Yelp and Google, you will find similar pattern of behavior. This may even be a strategy for unwanted tasks: Deter the customer with hostility. So she will never ask for more assistance. Out of sight. Out of mind. I'm sharing my story, because I hope you would be mindful of the service that comes with the installation. After-sale service is important too. What if the floor breaks several years later? Would you allow someone hostile in your home to repair it? Are you willing to risk being verbally insulted for trying to get some attention? Think about that

This is the 2nd time we have used this company, 22 years ago was the first, and now during probably the worst time to do a project 2022. I first (on both occasions) went to a competitor and did not find what I wanted so visited Carpets Plus on Gold Pan Court (Rancho Cordova), and found exactly what I wanted! I like the show room and their selection, like I said the first time I was looking for a Sea Foam Green carpet, they had it! This time around we went with a more muted, but we also needed a vinyl flooring that was not wood-looking as we have a lot of wood accents in our house, found it! LVP is Paragon Tile Plus, Clay and the carpet Mohawk, Ancient Treasure. The staff here is great, Matthew figured everything out and was always positive, Melissa made it happen and Chris, with the Vinyl (a mastermind), Tim (I hope this is right as it's been a few weeks!) & George are the carpet experts, Berber layers are apparently a dying breed so choose carefully. During this time of delays and hard to get products we did not have long to wait and all was worth it, we love our new flooring, thank you for being great!

I had planned on giving this company an excellent review based on how the beginning of the job went, but it fell apart in the end. I called and their estimator Matt, came the same day to measure my living room as he was in my neighborhood. I came into the show room and chose the carpet and they gave me a very good price. Melissa, the manager and Matt were very friendly and helpful on the phone several times.We scheduled our job, but I wasn't able to keep the initial install date in October 2021. This was due to my cat peeing on the previous carpet that had soaked into our concrete foundation. When I realized I needed further sealing on our walls behind the baseboard, I called and postponed the appointment. I had painted the floor and sealed everything, but odor was still coming from somewhere. Understandably I wouldn't want the carpet installed until I could get the odor out.The job was scheduled for a Thursday in October 2021and I called on Tuesday afternoon and left them a message explaining the situation and that I needed a few more days to get the odor out. They eventually rescheduled me for November 2021, but it took many phone calls to get this date. They were trying to find someone who could install baseboard for me. I understood this delay, but would've appreciated more prompt return phone calls with an update. I had to hound them and had a hard time getting someone to call me back to reschedule my installation.In November a very nice man came and did a great job installing the baseboard and the carpet. The only problem was he forgot to haul away the old carpet, carpet pad and baseboards! When I noticed this later that day I called and left a message right away as I didn't have the installer's cell number. They told me they weren't sure when they could have someone come back. No joke, after 7 (I counted) phone calls and reminders I was ready to give up. I finally got a hold of Matt who seemed very annoyed that I kept asking for my trash pile to be hauled away. I had paid for the job IN FULL including the CARE state fee that is a fee that is charged for dumping.Matt became very unprofessional with me on the phone, raising his voice and even told me I was at fault because I should've reminded the installer to haul away the old materials! The installer must have passed by this pile 10 times in that day. Why should I have to remind him to do his job? To add insult to injury, Matt said I canceled the first appointment at the last minute and his guys didn't get paid that day. I had canceled in due time for him to fill my slot. If they were as busy as they said they were, I don't think that my 1 1/2 day advanced notice was a last-minute cancellation. Matt also explained that if they sent someone to pick up the trash they would not make money on my job. Isn't that the way of business though, you win some and you lose some? I think that was very unprofessional to tell that to a customer in the first place. They were clearly in the wrong and didn't make good on finishing the job! So the pile sat outside my sliding glass door adjacent to my living room for two months. All through the holidays we had to look at this pile right next to where our Christmas tree goes. Melissa, the manager did call me one day in the meantime saying she had someone in the area to pick it up. I told her we were not going to be home for 45 minutes to unlock the gate. I explained that we were having a pool installed and the man could easily go through our access area and pick up the pile as it was in our covered patio. I did tell her it could be a little muddy, but he shouldn't have a problem. She said the man could be here in 10 minutes. I really wish I had more notice than 10 minutes! Apparently he didn't want to go through the access area and get mud on his shoes, so he didn't come. I waited weeks longer to see if they would call me to come pick up the trash, but I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN! I had to hire a junk hauler to haul away this pile after not hearing from them and ma

Terrific experience. I made a long distance move and with Terry's help I was able to select and have installed new flooring in a very tight schedule. The floor is beautiful and Terry and his crew were great to work with. Thank you!!!

The manager, Matt at Carpet Plus was wonderful in handling the flooring construction in a professional and timely manner. I was very pleased and satisfied with his customer service. The floor turns out to be incredibly beautiful. I strongly recommend Carpet Plus! Thank you so much, Matt!
