If I could give zero stars I would. They are understaffed and it takes an act of God to get a prescription. I have moved all my prescriptions. I will miss the staff. Really nice bunch of people.

My wife had oral surgery bone graft we picked Walgreens for prescription antibiotics and pain medication Walgreens tried to get me to come back the next day she was instructed by the doctor to take the antibiotic and the pain medication that evening they said okay come back in an hour I came back in an hour and and a half they had one of the three ready they worked on the second one got it ready when I asked about the third one they told me oh our computer messed up go back through the line, I spent over an hour in the line I said no! they told me to get out of the line or they would get the police I understand why they only have a 2.9 star rating they've earned it it's a bit too high should be lower

If they would allow I would give this WALGREENS a ZERO. You go to the doctor because your sick and most of the time time need medication. You get to the Pharmacy and they can't fill the prescription until tomorrow. I am absolutely done with Walgreens. Put more pharmacists on the payroll. Your charging enough for the meds. The drive thru line is out to the street. The line is packed down the isle inside. Never again.

This pharmacy is no question not only the worst in town but possibly all of california. Staff has a blatant disregard for any human being. It amazing to me that this staff even have a job.

With all of the resources companies and organizations have for customer service training. I AM IN COMLETE SHOCK AND DISBELIEF at the lack of customer service skills the pharmacy staff has. I recently retired from the medical field and spoke to pharmacies on an average of 30 times a day to assist patients. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I completely understand the stress level and the dynamics of the industry and it is still not a good excuse to treat any customer with such disrespect. Get it together Walgreens, I am sure your industry can foot some cash for customer service training. Completely disappointed in the pharmacy staff.

Overall it's a good store. It's clean, the staff is nice, and they have good sales at times. This review is for the store and not the pharmacy. I avoid it due to the bad reviews. The downside is the under staffing. GET MORE STAFF. At times they get so busy and they have only 1 person cashiering. Despite that, I've seen the cashiers handle upset customers in a great manner. Also, the parking is horrible when Porterville High School kids get out of school. I don't know why every parent thinks using a store parking lot is the best place to pick up their kids. It's annoying and makes parking difficult. Other than that it's a good store. Cleaner than CVS most of the time.

This is the WORST Walgreens I have ever been to. Did you know they only allow you to make 2 transactions a day?????? How TF is that allowed? I will never give this Walgreens my service again. I will travel an extra 20 min to give my money to Walgreens in Tulare. I didn’t know that the women who worked at this store owned it and were personal affected by customers making more then 2 purchase. Ridiculous

I write this review based on several visits to Porterville Walgreens Pharmacy. They are terrible at customer service. 90% of the time, in my estimation, they are understaffed and customers have to wait an unacceptable amount of time to get prescriptions or help. They hardly call for back up and sometimes there is just one service agent with several in line. I would recommend you just use another Pharmacy like Rite Aid or CVS or some independent. Thumbs down to Walgreens Pharmacy.
