its a great place to call to have your appliances fixed for they are the best and cheapest appliance repair shop in the porterville and surrounding areas. i would use them for all my repair needs. their daughter is very smart and attentive with your appliance repair needs. there a must have when you need an appliance repaired

My husband had called this company to come out for our washer repair. A woman came, left the back of the washer off -- and said she would call us as soon as she was back at the shop to inform us if they had the parts we needed. This was on a Friday. It is now the following Wednesday she never called us back or followed up on that Friday. Needless to say, she never called us back or followed up. We ended up having to fix our washer ourselves. So unprofessional to not follow up. Wouldn't waste my time again with this company.

I asked if they come to my area for a diag, and she rudely said " no we dont go there no more" and literally just hung up on me while I was talking. Really unprofessional lady, I will be taking my business elsewhere..smh

The Gentleman was very respectful. His wonderful wife always took our messages.He explained in great details on cost parts & labor. The new the dryer was an easy fix.He fixed my dryer ?, However, the washer washplate was stuck and below was the transmission. A few Uncles assisted, and as a family we decided not to put more wasted time into my washer. My dryer wasn't heating up so we called them to fix it but now my dryer's sucking all my clothes into the back & making holes in them since they get stuck back there. (Never had this problem before.) They obviously didn't put it back together correctly, so now I lost $140 & an entire wardrobe of clothes.Edited to add:As you can see in photos, the bottom has a massive gap while the top right side does not. Everything is going to the back of the dryer now. In the gap. We never had this issue for the entire 2 years we had the dryer - because this gap did not exist. And yes, both those 2 years the dryer was on the slant you mentioned in your reply. It was not put back together correctly, which we could tell since the woman that came struggled immensely. We were scared she wasn't going to even get it back together. Today it started clinking around which Ive never heard before and then stopped working, so I guess they never even fixed it. 140$ for nothing..

This local business is a jewel, it’s a family tan business that has been in the local scene for many years in the Porterville area. They have the experience and expertise to fix any issue(s) with your washer or dryer. The employees here are very kind hearted and fix issues very fast. They do have a lot of customers because of their great reputation. I highly recommend anyone who has clothing washer or dryer issues to come by.

Our unfortunate experience with L&S began on January 19th, 2023 when a tech was scheduled to do an at-home diagnostic for our washing machine. A man came out and after an hour of pressing buttons asked if he could take the machine to his shop as it would be "easier for him to do it there". The man that came was nearly 80 years old, so my husband and I were forced to somehow load the washer into the trunk of this man's 4 door SUDAN- not kidding. We knew this was a huge mistake but held hope for the compay anyways since we already paid when he arrived. We heard nothing for the first two weeks. When called to check and they said they believed it could be the electric board among other things, so they ordered a 65 dollar part- something that wasn't communicated to us. Called again and asked for an update and was told: " oh yeah.... That part is back ordered. Doesn't look like much we can do.". Could the compay not give us an update? They never gave us any diagnostic, just a couple of ideas of what it might be. So I paid this company $80.00 to load my own washer into some dudes vehicle. Pictures coming later. Please, do not waste your time or money with this company.

If 0 stars was an option, that still would be too high. Their “Repairman” Don came to my house to repair my washer and wants me to move it for him, shows up with no tools or replacement parts that they claim to have ordered and ready to be installed. Complete joke and waste of time.

I called about my dryer on a Saturday morning just hoping to get on a schedule for the next week or so. They came out that afternoon. They ordered the part needed and we're in contact with me every day as to part delivery and ability to come and finish the job. Sometimes twice in the day when the part came in late in the afternoon. They came back when they said they would and I was back to drying clothes. Their charges were more than fair. I highly recommend them!

Wonderful staff, pleasant, professional and efficient. My dryer broke down, they immediately came and access the problem, ordered the part and came and fixed it! They got to the root cause and ensure the problem won't happen again, hard to find honest businesses nowadays, & they are trustworthy for sure!The quote was was more than reasonable, I have tons of appliances that are in constant use, so if ever any of them breaks down in the future, I definitely can rely on L & S. I'm happy to have found them, one satisfied customer indeed!!
