“Best bank to work for. Mrs. Diaz is a wonderful manager. They need to give her a raise. All staff is amazing. The student inters are amazing. 10/10 would recommend to bank with TCFCU.”
“Bottom line up front (BLUFF), this place ROCKS!I walked in, the banker made contact with me, politely offered her assistance, provided options, and in less then 24hrs, I had a loan. The banker went of her way, by working outside the norms, and made the process very practical. For her outstanding customer service, I want to recognize Brizeyda Zepeda. She's awesome!!!”
“This is an awesome credit union. They have great loan rates and they also have a friendly staff. I like the fact that they have a drive up window and 2 ATMs outside of the bank. They also have a ATM across town at baby news next to Save Mart on olive, that makes it convenient to get your money at any time.”
“The staff went above and beyond to assist me in achieving my financial goals. I appreciate their commitment to transparency as well as their exceptional customer service.”
“Was with this bank all through high school and then came back once my daughter was born to open her an account. Always friendly and helpful. Love the texts for fraud alerts and how quick the service is. No issues when I call for help and when I do, it is always in a quick efficient manner. Also very dog friendly!”

815 W Henderson Ave, Porterville“I have worked for multiple banks and I can tell you the people at this bank work very hard. The bank suffers from 2 major problems though. First, BofA handles the EDD Cards and in Porterville instead of just using the cards at stores, a lot of people come in and withdrawl cash. ( I am not judging anyone, I had to the use card after a surgery, but I made it point to have it directly deposited into my checking account after the first couple of months). These are not BofA customers so the system does not register them showing that they need more tellers. ( That's a corporate problem, not a teller problem). Second, too many people come in to do transactions that can be done on the ATM, ( not to mention customer service needs that can be done instantly online) and these increase wait times as well. ( yes the ATMs do go down, but they have 4 which quite a few). This bank is understaffed as a result of these issues, and while yes corporate should react, like most large banks, they do not react well to outliers like our community. You can do a couple things to make life easier though, and the employees here will be happy to show you how. First, make appointments for visits with the bankers if you need things like a debit card, credit cards, or to open/close and account. Second, learn to take advantage of their many convenience options, like mobile deposits, ATMs, and online banking. Bank of America is not for everyone, there isn't a bank for everyone or else we'd all be there. Also a couple tips avoid the 1st, 3rd, and 15th if possible of the month as these are busy days for all banks. Also, don't go to the bank on days it rains (unless it's the only day you can go), most ag employees use rainy days to do banking and errands, so just be aware, the staffing computer programs do not access for weather, and it is usually packed. The employees here work very hard despite staffing, and the issues listed above to make your visits as quick and easy as possible. I really like this staff, and while Bank of America doesn't always make me do backflips of joy, they get the job done for me. ( Note: I do not work for the bank, nor have I been paid to make any of these statements.)”
“ATM really was horrible at this bank, not ever working correctly and the only one in vicinity.Deposits made on the online app are great and there is no hassle or triple trips to the bank.”
“I recently learned about how banks use the money in my bank account. I was shocked to learn how much big banks invest in things that are fueling the climate crisis. Moving to Beneficial State Bank, I am proud that my bank is supporting local nonprofits and affordable housing. I strongly recommend Beneficial State Bank to folks who want their money to make a difference and not negatively impact our communities and the planet.”
