This is probably the worst Target I've ever been to. They're always out of stock. They only ever have like 2 lanes open at any given point in the day. The exchange service doesn't allow people to make purchases even though the line is backed up with 20+ people. There's no self check out and I understand that it's Pomona but how are you going to tell me that Walmart still has self checkout!?!?! This is insane. It usually has a funky smell outside like sewer water. There's usually people trying to sell something outside getting all close in your personal space. However, the good thing is the elote/fruta guy that is posted outside across sometimes. Horrible Target I would much rather go to the one in La Verne.

Targets in my area always strive to offer the best customer experience. I’ve haven’t ever had a problem with their customer service nor employees. Keep up the good work Target!

This store does not have self check out and never more than one or two lines open. Lots of employees walking around but none working the register. I have on multiple occasions had to go to customer service and demand they open more lines. As a Pomona resident I want to shop at the pomona location but this is ridiculous. I hope corporate reads this and does something.

The Target Checker at check Stand #6 had told me and my family to go to another check stand because he had just turned off his #6 light. The light was on for his check stand as well as check stand #4. Check stand #8, had her light off but was completing a transaction with a customer. The checker at check stand #6 appeared to be having trouble with the two Latino customers as he was processing their transaction. I stepped away for a moment leaving my 12 year old daughter in line of check stand #6 with the cart of items we were to purchase. Upon my return the two customers were gone and the check stand light at #6 was now off. I relayed to the checker that we had been waiting here in line. He responded that we had not and that we must go to another line. I again relayed that my daughter was here waiting in line as I had stepped away to respond to my other two children who wanted me to look at something they had wanted to buy. He then walked away. I then took a photo at the check stand light, that was now off. I also, took a photo of check stand #4 with her light on. There were no other check stands open and all of the lights were off but there were about seven customers in line at check stand #4.

I never give reviews if I have nothing good to say but this time omg!!! This store is great but the customer service is just horrible they either need a new manager or better training it’s not the workers fault but they will make you waste your time so please place a new manager or better trained your employees, it’s not fair sometimes as parents we just gonna buy, Pay and go but when the cashier needs help for everything it’s just a waste of time.

Pomona Target rocks! Usually has items in stock and employees are nice and courteous and efficient at handling transactions. Order pick up is efficient and fast. I appreciate this considering driving across town to come there. I wish my local Target was this nice.

The Pomona Target is pretty good, but it tends to have a lot of solicitors and people who are homeless around there. They usually have everything people need in stock unless there’s a shipping issue. They probably should hire more staff to handle the amount of people they have shopping at their store everyday.

Everything is always so easy find. I love the curbside pick-up. Employees are always very friendly and accommodating. Helpful when you need assistance locating items. If there was thing to recommend, I'd say the restrooms need to be maintained more often. Otherwise, this is a nice location and good Target to make as your go to store in Phillips Ranch.

My pickup order (#9175566599561) got canceled an hour after I purchased through the Target app, and the reason I was given was that the item was "out of stock". I drove to this store at the same time it was being processed because I urgently needed them and there were three pairs on the shelf. I ordered some work gloves tonight for pick up at the Target in Pomona at around 9:40pm (their closing time has changed to midnight due to the holidays). They ask you to give them at least 2 hours to pick the item from your online order (hence "Ready for Pick Up in 2 hours") and then they notify you via email when it's ready. I ordered a pair of gloves from the Montclair location, and one from this location, in case that pair was out of stock (which happens a lot when ordering on the app). I assume this location had 2 left, because after I ordered, it said there was still 1 left so I figured it was a safe bet that they wouldn't be out of stock. My husband suggested we drive there while the order was being processed, just in case it got fulfilled on our way over. Once we get into the parking lot, I get an email notification from Target saying that the order has been canceled due to the gloves being out of stock. I was disappointed but we figured, since we were there anyway, we would look in the same aisle (C19, like it says on their app) to see if they had any other gloves in stock. Lo and behold, the exact same gloves I ordered were there on the shelf of aisle C19. Three of them to be exact. I thought my eyes were deceiving me. For a second, I refused to believe they were the exact same ones I ordered, but they were. The store wasn't even busy. It was 10:30pm by the time we got there and it was practically empty. At least if it were busy, I would've understood a bit more why the order was canceled. Though I still wouldn't have appreciated being lied to about why. Turns out, it's because someone was lazy. They didn't even utilize the two hours they had to pick the item. The order was canceled in just an hour! Now I'm questioning if every time I order something on the Target app and I'm notified that it's out of stock, if the items truly are out of stock or if someone just didn't feel like doing their job.

Poor management - Mark was very unprofessional. Employees have bad attitudes. Target corporate should RE-train the employees of this location. Don't be in customer service if you cannot handle it. Bad experience every time I come here and mind you I WILL NOT BE COMING HERE ANYMORE.

Walked in to this Target location and stumbled upon the trading card section being restocked. I didn't know the employee was going to be there stocking that day/time, it just so happened because i originally went to find other toys for my family for the holidays. I decided to wait around while the guy took his sweet time restocking the area. A whole HOUR later, this guy is still restocking and my foolish self continued to wait, along with the other four people in line (i was first). Then a tall employee named Mark (who just clocked in) decided that the line of 5 people was necessary for a "virtual line" mind you, the whole time we all waited no other employee seemed to have an issue as they all clearly seen us there for nearly an hour. Not to mention i also seen other employees ask the restocking guy to pass them merchandise so they could back stock, and when i mentioned this to Mark he completely denied it WHEN HE WASN'T EVEN THERE. So now, Mark tells the line and those barley beginning to join the line to go across the store to guess service to join the virtual line. OK now i'm irritated because those who were in the back tried to earn their way to "front" or "top" of the stupid virtual line BS. Of course, i made it clear that I was first POINT BLANK PERIODT. So a short round bug-eyed lady decides to NOSE herself in and "take over" Marks intent to start the virtual line and proceeds to try and add the back of line guest to front! Right after i just explained to them how the wasn't cool. BECAUSE THERE ARE NO SIGNS STATING THAT THERE IS A VIRTUAL LINE POLICY TO BUY TRADING CARD MERCH. None the less, this lady (who i didn't get a name) seemed to specifically want to handle the situation WHICH was not her responsibility nor does she know how to. It's obvious she wanted an issue. She then assumed that me and this other guy who was potentially the same race as me were together?!?! NAH she's was clearly discriminating and stereotyping us. which actually went over my head in that moment UP UNTIL she followed me to area I decided to stop in ( she didn't know if i was grabbing a drink or simply talking to another guest) and CONTINUED to harass me. Telling me i couldn't wait in a certain area, and that all the 5 people would have to wait outside. She only went to me to say this, because everyone else was waiting in the same area. And as she continues to irritate me with her annoying broken record a** she eventually got what she was itching for. Regardless of the ENTIRE matter. That lame guest service troll asked for a fight and got one as she decided to HARASS, STEREOTYPE, THREATEN me. Poor imagine this is for Target and their management, called corporate anyways and got a gift card so better than a discrimination lawsuit huh

Went here a few months back and never again. Was waiting in line on a mid busy day... noticed the cash register lady was chatting with another employee as she was cash registering talking about nonsense. Nice lady in front of me was trying to use the card reader but it wasn't working for her and the cash register lady told her the card had declined and proceeded to keep chatting with a coworker. The lady decided to pay with cash after a few attempts. Didn't think much of it but when it was my turn to pay with card it said my card had declined as well. Told her I had funds and the card reader wasn't working because it kept getting stuck in a specific screen and she kept insisting my card had declined with attitude. I kept scanning my card not giving in and it eventually went in after almost 10 swipes. But the way she kept saying declined declined declined instead of even checking to see if the card reader was working to this day annoys me. Couldn't stop chatting for one minute to see what the problem was. Never again. Rather go to a target that listens to their customers about an issue.

There's never toilet seat covers and toilet paper In the women's restroom. They don't have self check out and only have like two registers open. The food area is never open.
