Great place for quick grocery shopping. There could be a line to check out here so plan ahead appropriately. The parking could be challenging on weekends on weekdays it is fine.

Even 1 star ain't worth. I know I know. This rating is for KITCHEN only. Went to grab hot Chapati on weekday during lunch time. Only one lady was handling everything - taking orders, packing food and make chapatis. No gloves while packing food. I was hoping she will clean hands before making chapatis. She went into take someone else order and packed their curries at her own pace while I was waiting. Then she went in the back kitchen counter and with same hands, started making chapati dough rolls, then came back to take another order (pressed touch pad, filled container with food) and again went back to roll dough with same hands!!! I quickly asked to cancel my order, she refunded touching payment pad with same flour filled hands and I ran out as fast as I could. This is DISGUSTING and if I see them doing same for others next time, will complain to county.

The lady wearing pink at the restaurant is so freaking rude, I asked her if I can pay there for two popsicles and she refused and on the contrary asked me to stand in the regular line just to make you suffer instead of scanning those two popsicles over there and on top of it she got freaking attitude.

One of the largest Indian Grocery Store in East Bay. Found many hard to find items. Good variety of items varying from each brand. Plenty of parking and live food counter in weekend is serving mouth watering chaat and most delicious but cheapest samosa in Bay Area

I have been a regular visitor to New India Bazar, Pleasanton. I used to like that and I still like it. But recently they scammed me and I am feeling very very bad about that. Kindly refer to the attached picture. I had bought Manna 1Kg pack for 11.99 about 2 to 3 months back. About 3 weeks back, since they didn't have 1Kg pack, I bought two 500gms pack. I didn't check the price at that time, as I trust this store. I got a rude shock seeing they sold 500gm pack to me at $13.99 for a grand total of $28 just for 1Kg of Manna health mix, that I used to get for $11.99. If this is not scamming your customers, I am not sure what is.This is very very bad, and I didn't expect such scamming from a store that I liked a lot.

They expect customers to bag their own groceries - apparently if you bring your own bags, they won’t bag the groceries for you. I thought this was a rule during the pandemic only. It’s sad that after you spend $100 plus at a store, the cashier just stares at you to bag your own groceries. No help. Not coming back here. Ofcourse I tried to give my feedback in the store but the manager ‘wasn’t around’.

The store is ok, good collection, crowded. I am posting this review about their fresh food. We ordered "medu vada" and guess how many whole black pepper were in a single vada, count from the pic. While eating at what point do you realize that you are eating whole black pepper with trace amount of vada.
