A gem in Apple Hill! Tucked away in the trees, Bonnie and Bill have created a home away from home with all the comfort and convenience of a hotel. Bonus, Bonnie’s amazing breakfasts and Bill’s accommodating service to make an extra special vacation getaway.
We stayed in the Garden room, which was thoughtfully organized, stocked, and white-glove clean with a touch of garden flare to make it unique and colorful. Situated right next to an enclosed hot tub and steps away from the living room and dining area.
We spent our mornings on the porch in rocking chairs with fresh coffee in hand, watching humming birds and slept peacefully in the evenings. (We enjoyed that there were no TVs in the bedroom).
Highly recommended a visit - so close to so many wineries and restaurants. We will be back!

This enchanting hidden treasure was the ideal spot to mark our 10-year anniversary. Bonnie and Bill were wonderfully welcoming, ensuring our stay was delightful. Bonnie's culinary expertise was truly impressive, and each breakfast was a treat. The room was generously sized, and having a private bathroom was a great bonus.

We loved our stay at this bed and breakfast! Bonnie and Bill were excellent and welcoming hosts. Bonnie made a delicious breakfast for us, and they were both very friendly to talk to. The room was very clean and organized. We hope to stay here again in the future during apple picking season!

Bonnie & Bill made our stay so wonderful. Breakfast was AMAZING and so delicious. She was so thoughtful to cook me gluten free options as well. The house is the perfect place to relax with a game room, pool table, and hot tub. Our room was super comfortable as well. Couldn't have asked for a better stay and kinder hosts.

Excellent hosts! The rooms are very well done and the property itself is beautiful. Downtown Placerville is a cute little area to shop and get something to eat. A lot of hiking trails in the area too, and South Lake Tahoe is only an hour away. Also, there is a Tesla Supercharger about 5 minutes from Ponderosa Ridge.Every morning was a different breakfast, which you have to eat to truly appreciate the love and care gone into every single item. I would stay there again when I’m back in the area.

We had a prefect stay with Bonnie and Bill. The breakfast was Fantastic!!The room was beautiful and spotless. The setting was Amazing. They made us feel like were home visiting family. We could not say enough good things and can't wait to return.

My wife and I stayed here to get away for our anniversary. Breakfasts were amazing, the rooms are very nice and the hot tub was very relaxing. There is a game room to enjoy with a pool table, dart board and various board games. And the location is nice, being in the heart of Apple Hill.

Gorgeous, cute, peaceful, and pretty perfect place to relax. 10/10 This trip was a much needed little getaway from the stressors and worries of life. The owners are amazing and super friendly. They put time, effort, and care into making the breakfast. They accommodate diets and food allergies. Flavor and quality 10/10 ?

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying with Bill and Bonnie a couple weeks back. What a "gem" as they say. When we pulled up (and into a gated property) Bill greeted us from the deck. We met inside where Bonnie checked us in real quick. Then we got a tour with Bill. He is sooo super friendly and kind. Just a genuinely nice host. Some people act nice but it is professionally cordial. I didn't feel that with Bill, or Bonnie. (Sorry don't mean to leave her out ) Bill gave us great recommendations for wineries and we were able to wine taste with fee waived at 2 wineries we visited. We also got discounts on wine! The places were so chill and relaxing. Beautiful, quiet, relaxing, just what we wanted. I texted Bonnie a few times and she always got back to me super fast. Bonnie also is a wonderful baker and she made a super nice breakfast each day. Bill would refill your OJ and tell you to have a seat as he got coffee refills. When Bonnie was done cooking she came out and then I got to pick her brain about our meals. I love talking food . She was really nice as well and easy to talk to. They are literally around the corner from Abels Farms and are right in the heart of apple hill. Both wineries were no more than a mile away. Rooms are decorated very cute, with different themed rooms. All the amenities are there. Robes and slippers in the closet, a hot tub in a gazebo, and the room was nicely renovated with quality materials used. Super great stay and I recommend them highly.

This was one of the best experiences I've had. Bill and Bonnie are delightful and the food was fantastic. I'm for sure coming back and would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone!
