I have ordered collectibles from Monsters in Motion for many years. Always dependable, they have been helpful through the years, even when I changed my mind a few times on things. The reviews here are all negative because the small set of customers with an issue of some type are the only ones that are going to bother posting a review. This is a complaint site, in a sense. So here here's a 5 star review to go along with them..

Don't trust the 5 star reviews, they are all fake. I tried to get my husband a mask the website said was in stock. That was definitely a lie. Never got it, didn't get a single update but managed to cancel the payment. Before posting it on your site make sure you know officially what you have.

I ordered a small "Jaws" sign on July 3 and was told it would ship in 3-5 days. Today is July 27, and while the money was taken from my account on July 3, there is no evidence I will ever see the sign anytime soon. The badly designed website offers no particular support or evidence that support can even be given. I've given up hope on the sign (and the money). Please move on.

This is a cool shop. They have many interesting things. I use to place orders here every other week and would usually be able to pick them up same day. However, recently i guess they’ve been pretty backed up because now they don’t process orders til the next day. I never had an issue with picking up an order the same day until now. I guess it’s not their fault. But be aware, the owner can be quite rude sometimes. Luckily for him I am a very patient person so I don’t say anything. I wish I could give this place a 5 stars because they have many great collectibles. But unfortunately the customer service is not great. Tanner is a very nice guy though and never had any issues with him.

The guy on the phone with my husband was so rude and he told him his email address and tve guy on the phone said he hD it but said the wrong email said different ones and then caused my husband of cutting g him off on the phone when he asked a question he tried to talk and tbe guy kept yelling so don't go here .

There was some error with the original shipping label and tracking information that had me confused and a very nice gentleman called me and we got it all straightened out.

I have bought items from this dealer over the course of many years. Never had any problems and they have always shipped very promptly when the items were in stock. Never had any problems at all. Recommend this dealer if you are a collector.

I'm a long time customer of Monsters In Motion and being able to buy online and have contactless pick-up has been super convenient during the pandemic. They have an amazing selection of Horror, Sci-Fi, and Pop Culture model kits, collectables, and toys. Also, they sell books, soundtracks, and have some awesome rare and one of a kind items. Great store!

They have some interesting items, but in some cases limited stock makes them unavailable. No in-store visits, curb side pick up by appointment.

I have been a prior customer of Monsters in Motion and even subscribe to their product newsletter. I purchased a few items this year for the Christmas gift giving season. My biggest item never arrived (no explanation to why) and the smaller items arrived 3 days after Christmas. I wrote the customer service and the agent was conveniently out the first day, I called and the two days later an agent replied to my email with a RUDE, OBNOXIOUS reply. The company makes sure they cover their own agenda/assets by some BS excuse about ordering specific items and their shipping speed. If you want to purchase items for someone as a gift... do not use Monsters in Motion. They are a rip off company that ROBS your money and provides service that is POOR and inexcusable, DISGUSTING HORRIBLE PEOPLE.....

Ordered a candle holder that was not listed as pre order. Upon logging in, saw that my order was listed as such and inquired as to why the item was not listed as such when I purchased- nor would I have had during current supply chain issues. Was accused by a Mr. T Love of knowing it was and trying to exploit them. Upon receiving said candle holder (eventually) it was nothing like the photo. What I purchased was a single finish and this thing looked like a cheap child's toy, with gaudy multicolored painting- the original item was monotone stone finish- and paid twice as much for what I could've bought it for at most any other vendor. I emailed them again alerting them to the difference, noting they may want to update their catalog photo. Was again accused of hijinks by Mr. Love, who hides behind his website policy that they aren't responsible for sending you an entirely different item. Really he just ordered some junk off Amazon that cost half the price of what I paid and sent it. Either he has a vision problem or is just a psychopath. Whatever! Enjoy your forty bucks, guy. You sure earned it You can't even review the items on their website- "all reviews are subject to approval." Says it all. They can't even handle honest feedback. In short, don't waste your time with these jokers. Absolutely abysmal customer "service" and no respect for the items they're peddling.

I've ordered pre-orders multiple times and never received any items. The first time I preordered a NECA Planet of the Apes Lawgiver. The arrival date was continuously pushed back for nearly a year of the original date. Meanwhile I saw the item on eBay a number of times. Finally after contacting Monsters in Motion, they said they never got it in and refunded me. I had to buy it more expensively on the secondary market. I preordered another item about a year or so later and it was canceled by Monsters in Motion. In May, I pre-ordered a couple of items and again, the arrival date is starting to be pushed back from August, to September, and now it says October. And again, I see the items available now on eBay. So I'm 0 for 3 in pre-orders over the last several years. I'm not sure they actually deliver anything.

I revisited this review, and saw that Jamie's business practices haven't changed. He is still treating customers like stray dogs begging for treats, and I notice that most of his positive reviews have ratings but no details, verbiage or any sort of reason to explain the rating. My verdict, the guy is still a twatwaffle trust fund baby running what could be a good business the very worst way. Buyers....beware

Been waiting for an order since December 2020....asked for a refund got no reply....no updates on order....be wary dealing with these cowboys they are not worth dealing with!
