I filed my 2023 taxes at the Placentia location and the 3 representatives that “assisted” me were rude, impatient and unwilling to find effective solutions. I left feeling rushed and unsure about their overall skillset, given they needed to consult several staff members and the internet for help. I left a formal complaint via the company survey where I listed the individuals names and I have yet to receive a response from the brand to make this right. I will not be coming back to H&R Block. Thank you.

Went to file my taxes and apply ITIN for my wife. The process took nearly 4 hours to file a simple tax return. I went in Feb 2022 and haven't received my return now September 2022. The IRS cannot find my information. I contacted HR block multiple times and were told that someone would contact me back. I still haven't heard back from anyone.

No waiting on a Sunday, just in time for our appointment. Got all our papers ready and you can upload them to your online account to make it easier and faster! Neat, will do that next year. Parking was not a problem. The receptionist though may need a little more training about their services, I think she's new. Anyway, no bad review here.

This H&R Block is completely unreliable and unprofessional. Two days in a row my husband and I had an appointment scheduled. Both days, my husband receives a call from the receptionist who doesn't seem to know what's going on, and tells us our appointment is canceled due to the person who was supposed to be helping us not coming into work. Not to mention she had the wrong time for our appointment that she initially scheduled. Both days we had to find childcare to keep these appointments which ended up being canceled day of. Will not be working with them again in the future. This location is flaky, unprofessional, and unreliable.

First time doing taxes and Initially was going to do it myself online but decided i would have a "professional" help me out because i didnt wanna mess anything up. I got a tax appointment with Jemima. Upon sitting down to meet with her, it had become abundantly clear that she could not figure out how to use her blockworks accounting software. When she finally finished doing my taxes (took her about a month) i noticed that my return was nearly $200 less than what i would've gotten by doing my taxes online.

They were incredibly fantastic here! Steve in particular made sure to even work on my taxes before I even paid because there were complications! I ended up with a refund instead of owing bcuz of their great diligence ??
