We got into a car crash on July 3rd, and Dave was so helpful to us in a multitude of ways! He assessed the car and added in some screws to secure it for a long drive back to Seattle, free of charge (because we unfortunately didn’t have cash to tip). He also gave us numerous recommendations for Point Reyes, San Francisco, and even traffic/driving recommendations for our journey back. He’s a kind man with a wonderful shop. Thank you, Dave!

David Spangler is one of the kindest souls I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. We moseyed on over to Petaluma Auto Craft after an odd accident on D St. He added in some screws to help us on our way and offered up a kind smile and some sage advice. I would highly recommend Dave and Petaluma Auto Craft for car care and a friend.

Don't waste your time or money here. Dave seems reasonable, but will ultimately deceive you. He replaced a sensor on my truck and I walked out paying almost DOUBLE what every other shop in town quoted the job. I called him to clarify in case there was a mistake, and his response was literally "tough luck, that's the mechanic industry". After I told him that every other shop quoted me at nearly half his price, he asked if he could call me back. No response and won't return my calls. What a joke.If you want to be treated fairly with honest pricing, go anywhere but here.

My car started making some un Goddly noise 3 weeks after spending $3000 at the Ford dealership. Called Dave, super nice guy(honest) said I could bring it in right away. Was fixed within 24 hours, and quoted me half the price than the dealership. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Dave is a Champion!

While camping nearby in Olema we had a busted water pump in the truck. Headed into Petaluma for repairs and stopped at Petaluma Auto Craft after our first estimate of $650. Petaluma Auto Craft had it fixed in less than 2 hours for just under$350. Absolutely perfect service and so so pleased with our find. Thank you for saving our trip!! Highly recommended!
