This is a top-notch auto body shop -- and they're super honest and fair. I took my car to PAB to have them fix a busted rear running light and a rear side panel that popped out slightly when I backed into a low cement wall. Since it was a small problem I didn't want to use my insurance for the repair bill. They quoted me a very fair price (in writing), and I agreed to it. They ordered the light and it came in after just a couple of days. I took my car in to have the work done and just an hour later they called me to tell me it was finished. Here's the kicker: They charged me NEARLY $100 LESS THAN THE QUOTED AMOUNT!! Turns out they didn't need to fully remove the bumper to get the panel back in, so they lowered my cost. Wow, where do you get that kind of honest service these days??!! And my car looks great. If you need auto body work, go here FIRST.

A deer ran in front of my car, banging up my front bumper which looked awful, but it was strictly cosmetic damage.It wasn't until I started visiting body shops and getting quotes that I discovered hitting a deer is an "Act of God" which insurance companies will pay for and supposedly not ding your record. Nevertheless, my deductible was pretty high, so this was something that I researched parts pricing for online. After visiting 5 local auto body shops, I chose Petaluma Auto Body because their service technician Jeff, was upbeat, responsive and offered an honest, reasonable rate for putting a new bumper, grille and emblem on. Jeff was very easy to speak with and work with. His optimism can do attitude was a breath of fresh air and...the results of his work were excellent! My front end looks completely brand new and it was affordable!! I highly recommend Jeff to anyone seeking autobody work.

I'm so glad to recommend Petaluma auto body ! They have worked on my car two times now (unfortunately) once for a ding that was my fault and just recently for a rear end hit and run and I am happy to say my car looks brand new! Thank you thank you thank you to Roz and Brian

It took me a while to write this review, but I felt the need to give a review to help others avoid the same mistake. Do not go to this body shop if the work they did on my car is any indication of their true ability. Back in October 2021 I hit a deer that did some minor damage to my 2000 4Runner bumper. I decided to bring it to Petaluma auto body to have it fixed out of pocket. I also decided to have an unrelated dent in the driver side radiator core support fixed at the same time, given they were working on this general area. Initially, I think the quote was around 5800-6000, but it was changed to $6865.60 because they had to cut the radiator support and inner fender out of a wrecked 4Runner. I know, it was stupid to pay this much, but I was getting help from my relatives as this was the only car I could afford, and I had just had the engine head repaired. I agreed and they began work. Around two weeks later they said they were done, and I was excited to pick up my car. I was extremely disappointed in their quality of work, and based on their eyes and tone of voice, I think they knew I was disappointed too. The radiator core support is not anywhere close to the original color. It looks closer to the toyota color code "millennium silver" than the color "desert dune metallic". The fender on the passenger side isn't lined up with the bumper, it appears to be pushed more inward than the driver side. The hood doesn't line up with the front fenders. The headlight bracket that holds the light in place had broken off an arm that holds the bracket to the grille, and they glued it in place instead of replacing it, maybe to save me money? I'm not sure. The pieces of metal below the headlights aren't level with the lights, and I had initially thought they would paint these because they only had the black primer on them (I replaced them myself earlier). I was told I would've had to ask them to paint, so I guess this is on me. Good thing they didn't though, because it would not have matched anyways. I expected better for nearly $7,000. I was excited to pick up my car, because I really do like the way it drives, and I was excited for the nearly brand new look of the front end. I was very disappointed and unhappy with what I actually received. The fit of the radiator core support is good, which I guess, realistically, is the most important repair. Other than that, it's not great. If you're looking for good auto body repair, don't go here. The pictures in other reviews must have been with a different repair person, or they just took me for a ride because I paid out of pocket. Go to farmer brothers in Ukiah instead, they did a much better job on my Subaru with a similar repair. Sorry if this is too long, I'm just really upset about the repair.

When I had some paint on my black car I took it to another shop in town only to be told 1k to fix it. Took it to Petaluma Autobody and they removed it with some solution no charge. So yesterday when I chose to get my 10yr Pilot refreshed with a buff, wax and detailed job they got my business. Other than paint chips from being old my SUV looks amazing and the price was reasonable. Staff is professional and kind.

I unfortunately hit a deer while visiting Petaluma. I was referred to Petaluma Autobody. They took care of everything from the very initial tow to restoring my vehicle back to pre-accident condition or better! It was easy efficient and a very quick turnaround time. Brian at Petaluma Autobody had incredible customer service. It was the best case scenario for a bad situation. I recommend them highly!

Petaluma Auto Body is fantastic. The repair to my car is amazing, it looks brand new, and they went out of their way to make sure that everything was good and working well. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating and the communication during my repair, both with me and my insurance company, was excellent. A truly exceptional company.
