I like how it's the employees see a line getting backed up they'll stop what they're doing and jump on the next register and ask the next person in line if they want to be the next on the new checkout. Employees are also always happy to help and professional.
Really good tortilla chips. Selection here is a little limited since it’s a small store. Meat is okay quality. The produce is okay but sale items usually means it’s about to go bad not that the item is in season.
Holiday market has good meat and organic food . It’s usually busy but rightfully soo it’s the only grocery store in penn valley. It’s a little bit expensive there but they have all that you could need and a lot of specialty or organic options
In 1962, Holiday Market established its first store on historic Front Street in Cottonwood, California. Today the company still has its headquarters on Front Street, taking pride in its small-town roots. There are now fifteen Holiday Market stores in Northern California and Southern Oregon, all of which are owned and operated by North State Grocery, Inc., an 100% Employee-Owned Company.
