If you have ever wanted to meet an honest mechanic, I know they are rare, you need to meet Corey and his amazing wife Julie.I can't believe that I've lived in Paso/Atascadero since 2012 and it took our family this long to find them.Both Julie and Corey (not sure on spelling) are sincere, reasonably priced and just easy going people. A local tire shop was changing my oil recently and said that I needed to replace my valve cover gasket because it was leaking AND they also said we needed to replace the drive belt. I thanked them for their notification and asked them to please just change the oil. I then contacted Julie at SMELTZER and she was able to schedule me in to see her hubby for a second opinion.My husband and I took our car to have Corey look at it. He looked at the engine and found nothing wrong with it. I was shocked by two things, shocked by his honesty when most other mechanics would tell you what best benefits their pocket books- but I was more shocked that a local tire shop in Paso Robles that we have trusted for many many years would try to take advantage of their customers like that. They have lost a customer and SMELTZER has earned a customer for life.Thank you for being a good human and not seeing people as dollar signs Mr & Mrs Smeltzer. I am also a local small business owner and I believe in earning my $$ honestly and with integrity. It's good to know that integrity still exists in this small town, thank you!

My 2016 Edge had an engine rumble for awhile. I was referred to Smeltzers fearing the worst. He took my car for a short test drive, came back and corrected the problem immediately. He knew just what it was. Thank you so much.

Smeltzer's is the best in the area! Their service is fast and reliable. They are honest and fair with their pricing. You will be happy you chose Smeltzer's! My car broke down on a Friday afternoon. I had a quote by the end of the business day. They quickly ordered the needed part and my car was complete by Monday. Awesome people and awesome business.

Over the years Korey has taken care of several of our family cars, and he will continue as long as he's in business. He is the best. He knows what he's doing and his prices are exceedingly fair. I can't recommend Korey highly enough. And...his wife Julie is friendly, professional and will take good care of you.
