Very helpful, friendly and courteous staff - 3 young associates helped me (and my husband) pick out a skateboard and helmet for me on Friday 10/18/2024 at around 3PM. I am older and wanting to work on my balance and core in our paved backyard, so I explained my goals. We are first time customers and had a very positive experience - we will return for sure as we liked the well curated products. We just moved to Paso from San Francisco, and this experience made us feel very welcomed!

I see a few reviews from people being upset about being profiled and followed around. I was just there and I was followed too but it’s a deep store and nothing is cheap so I don’t find it offensive with theft on the rise. The staff was good and answered all my questions.

Never again will I come here I got treated like a criminal just because the color of my skin old white dudes working and checking if I was gonna steal only white employees work here I don’t see no diversity. The music is not good they need to work on their customer service they need to do better and better selections on heavier people which is discrimination. They should have a sign out saying “skinny white people only”. Do better entitled white people.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Jarrred and Josh for there help. On Monday We came from Visalia, purchased a snowboard, bindings, pants and googled. When we returned home, we found out that there was only one binding in the box. We contacted the store, and Jarred told me that he would try and overnight it, as we were leaving on Thursday, unfortunately he could not overnight it, but he then drove 2 hours and delivered it to our house that evening. I have never experienced customer service like this,!! They went way out of there way to make it right, above and beyond what any other store would do. Please use this great store and pass the word on how good they are!

I have been a customer of Big5 for inexpensive snow sports equipment for years. I am still a fan overall, and our local Paso store is great for on-demand kids sports needs.. and fishing license renewal. Our girls tried on quite a selection of snow bibs/pants at Alliance and the staff was very patient and helpful. My girls got a great fit with a quality brand, and at a product tier that met our budget. Thanks Alliance!

Girls at the register were extremely nice but I had a horrendous customer service experience with the store manager Zack. Saw a pair of shoes priced at $55, didn't see that I was charged $60 until I walked out and looked at the receipt. Went back in to ask what happened. The girls at the desk called Zack, who in turn said "oh it's just an old label on the display model." They have to match the price on the box. That's ok, I requested a refund, and was told I can only get store credit (a contradiction to what's posted on Alliance's website even.) That's ok, I said I'd settle for a $5 store credit. Zack became confrontational and tell me I was taking an angle. I was happy to just get my money back. Simply put, they locked my money into their business under false pretenses and refused to give it back. I'm a Paso resident. Will never shop here again, not will any one of my friends or family.

Great shop with excellent service. My husband and I bought new snowboards and bindings and couldn’t be happier with our purchases. The staff goes above and beyond.

Honestly one of the best board shops ive every been to. They might be a little jumpy at first to make sure shoplifting isn't happening; but overall they are very nice. The clothes are 100% in quality. Once you get to know the staff (AKA shop there a lot) they can be really uplifting

Pretty dope little shop. They have a huge variety of boards, griptape, clothing, and accessories. I came in for some griptape and hardware for my trucks and ended up looking around for a while. The plus side of this shop for me is their MILITARY DISCOUNT!

I took my son to do some back to school shopping on Sunday and we were impressed by the selection. We've been to other big corporate stores and found they have cut back on their inventory and encourage online shopping. My son found plenty of items in a variety of sizes including shoes. There were several employees available and willing to help. We'll definitely shop this local business again!

Love this surf shop. You will defiantly find what you want from surf items shoe accessory's and WOW the cloths! If you come out of this excellent Surf shop with out finding something well it has never happened to me. A must stop shop in Paso Robles CA and the staff could not be ore helpful....
