The yarn here is beautiful with lots of color ways! But the shop is tiny. The two employees were meeting when I arrived, and I interrupted them because there wasn't room for a meeting and shopping. The yarn I bought did not need winding but was a good choose for my project. The needles are behind the register, so I didn't get to look and settled for something too big.

A very warm and welcoming environment and staff. I went in wanting to get advice on how to get started and walked away looking forward to my new adventure. I can’t wait to work on what I started and go back for the advice or support they offer!

Gorgeous yarns! A bit costly but well worth it. Also, "drop in" classes are not at all, about dropping in. You have to reserve your spot for $30.24 hours in advance. Not a problem for me but I just think it's not clear on the website.

Fantastic store with an amazing selection of beautiful yarns and with a very personable and helpful owner- who has travelled the globe to purchase the yarns offered for sale.

The shop is beautiful and modern, but I didn't experience the level of customer service or help that the other reviewers have noted. My sister and I visited a few months ago. I was actually looking for yarn for a specific project, and while the shop attendant pointed me towards their stock shelves, she pretty much left us alone to sit at her desk to knit her own project while we walked around. Minimal interaction, minimal conversation, and did not expand on much when I asked her opinion on how to care for certain fibers. Maybe the attendant at the time was less knowledgeable, but I would have preferred she just told me that outright, because I just felt like she was trying to get me to buy something and leave.I did end up buying a few skeins and a pompom mag book for my sister, but overall did not feel the welcoming/inviting or helpful vibes that the other reviews indicated.

My absolute favorite yarn store. They have an amazing selection with great quality yarn and the customer service is fantastic. The owner is the sweetest and I would gladly drive an hour just to support her wonderful shop. Since this was the first LYS I ever visited, it's been the standard. Unfortunately, not many places reach the same expectations. I've visited many other yarn stores and this one is by far the most organized and clean. They don't increase the prices of the yarn and if they do it's like 25 cents at the most; they are actually sometimes cheaper than online stores. Lastly, I never felt unwelcome for not being the stereotypical knitter, which has happened to me in other LYS. Please support this shop so it never goes away lol

I recently made an afghan as a wedding gift with wool I purchased from Wollhaus. Unfortunately, there was a previously unknown problem with the spinning that caused a lot of pilling, which made me unable to give the blanket away. When I brought the finished product in to show Ulli, she contacted the vendor to find out what happened and fully reimbursed me for the yarn. How delightful to feel supported by a business owner. Not only does Wollhaus have a warm, welcoming environment and beautiful yarns, it has owners who care about their customers. And that's a great combination.

I had a great time looking the the yarn selection here. I am a new knitter and everyone that worked here has helped me immensely when I have questions regarding yarn type and knitting patterns. Highly recommend stopping by and looking through all the beautiful yarn.

What a great store! Beautiful yarns, warm atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff! I have more than once brought my knitting project/problems here and the wonderful staff here patiently answered my questions, offered suggestions, and in some cases, corrected my mistakes to save my projects. And on Wednesdays, there is a social stitching period where you can bring your project and knit and chat with fellow knitters. As a beginner knitter, I especially appreciate having a wonderful resource for support and inspiration.

Came here to find yarn for a new project. Left with yarn and a new friend. As everyone else has already said, Ulli is a gem. Knowledgeable, kind, practical and smart. She will put together great colors and remind you of what matters: making a knitted item the receiver will love. I'm sold!

Coming here is like a visit to a quaint. European shop. The owner was born to knit and knit she does effortlessly. There is a vast range of stunning yarns and everyone who works there can help you with any problem or tweak. I love to go and sit and knit and chat. It feels like home
