Good selection of alcohol. Unfortunately, the employees were very rude. I was selecting a bottle of tequila and they were very judgement about my selection. Instead of helping they discouraged me from buying at this location. Customer service was not it.

I had a bizarre experience with the manager of this location. At the front of the store, I was paying for my items, and I noticed there are empty boxes stacked up. I needed a box to ship something, so i selected a couple.
The cashier said " I'm not sure you can take those." I said, "what do you mean? They're empty boxes." She thought this important enough to call the manager over!
The manager said we will charge you for them ...and this made almost no sense...said "We buy boxes."
" what? What does that mean,' I said.
"We buy boxes." She repeated.
" That doesn't make any sense. Do you mean -- you sell boxes?"
Again the not too smart manager repeated the "We buy boxes" line.
I said, "Do you mean you sell the boxes to the customer? You try to sell the empty used boxes to the customer.? You're trying to sell your trash to the customer?"
"Really? That makes no sense. I'm not going to do that."
I left, without my underappreciated incredibly valuable empty boxes.
IN CONCLUSION: I can only guess that Corporate has decided to also go into the empty box/trash business to pry a few more bucks from their hapless customers.
They're no longer in just the overpriced stale booze business, ( they used to have good prices. And they don't rotate their stock - they sell a lot of stale beer.)... they're also in the trash business. That's a great business model. That's a great public relations move... very customer friendly!

I would like to rate it a 1, but I received amazing help from a gentleman in a long sleeve white shirt (possibly the manager) while I was in store, I wish I got his name!!
I went in with a group and as everyone was leaving, I went to the register that’s next to the exit on Colorado Blvd (about 3pm), handed over my ID and the kid working the counter had asked to see my whole groups ID (15 people). Confused, I asked him why (as no one else was purchasing and they were walking out) I was the only one making a purchase. He handed my ID back and said “I refuse to sell this to you”.
I completely understand the want to protect alcohol sales to minors, however I do not appreciate the way this kid handled the situation. He kept saying the same thing over again and offered no explanation or reason as to why he was “refusing” to sell to me. My other question is, if a parent walks in with their kids/teens, are you refusing to sell to the parent if you don’t see the kids/teens ID’s?
Out of frustration, I just left. Although I should’ve spoken with a supervisor who could’ve given me a better explanation as to why I’m being refused service rather than have a repetitive sentence from this kid working the register.
I went to BevMo and purchased the same item for $10 cheaper AND they didn’t ask to see anyone else’s ID but my own.

Impressive! It’s the biggest Total Wine Store I have ever been in. Well organized, great customer service, and every choice of alcohol imaginable. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. The are also nicknacks (food, soda, etc.) available as well. The prices were very reasonable, I expect higher cost as it California.

I love shopping at Total Wine! Their selection is always fantastic, and the staff is super knowledgeable. Just in time for the 4th of July, I heard about the new Beatbox Red, White & Blue variety pack. It would be awesome if Total Wine could stock this for the upcoming celebrations. Keep up the great work, Total Wine team!

The store overall has a great variety. The staff is very rude and arrogant. Along with this anytime I visit the Pasadena location with a group, the workers hover and glare as if we were gonna steal.
