I shouldn’t have to drive to your store to verify a product availability. Answer the phone!

Very clean facility, professional and friendly front office workers and very nice nurse and doctor. They answered all our questions and addressed any concerns. Thank you!

My dog Frankie had some issues that I was concerned about and wanted to find a vet in Pasadena. I have a vet for her in Arizona, while I'm at my home there, but I did not have a vet in Pasadena. I called them and made a reservation. They told me that the soonest I could bring her in was in two weeks. On the day of the appointment Frankie and I walked into the waiting room. We did not have to wait long and then they showed us to the room where the Veterinarian that saw us was Stan Avezov. I described my concerns with Frankie. Stan made Frankie feel comfortable. He sat on the floor and called to her and she walked over. Stan was top notch. Frankie had not had blood work done in a while so I had them draw her blood. Once again Frankie was very calm when one of the assistants took her to draw her blood. Stan also recommended that she start her on Nexgard Plus for fleas/ticks and heart worm. The final price for our visit was very reasonable. The lady at the front desk said the results for the blood work should arrive in a couple of days. To my surprise Frankie's blood work results were texted to me the next day. Everything was within the normal range. I opted for the month to month dose for her Nexgard since I like so close. I'm extremely happy with Pasadena Pets Hospital and will continue to request Stan Avezov.

I don't like the idea that they don't have a receptionist to answer the phone. It is automatic answering machine. The recording states messages are checked throughout the day.

You know no one likes to write this type of review and honestly, it is my first one. First of all, the care I received in the past has been good but let me tell you why I am so frustrated with them today. I had an appointment at 3:30 and admittedly I was 10 minutes late. I have two large dogs and they are not that great with other dogs. So with that in mind, It took them 18 minutes to acknowledge me in the lobby. People are people and when I tried to call no one picked up. Flustered, I waited another 10 minutes until they checked me in and then they said they had to check with the doctor. By the way, I was scheduled for wellness and shots. How long do you think they could have afforded me with two dogs? An hour is expected. Long story short they came back after another 8 minutes with a manager telling me they could only see one dog. Are you kidding? I work 12-hour days and I left work, braved traffic, got my dogs in 100-degree temps, and went to the Vet for nothing. One of my dogs isn't more important than the other. Well, I spend at least $1000 per year at this Vet with visits and I am now searching for a more human-friendly vet.

We were looking for a new vet in the area. My dog hurt his dewclaw (we think it caught on something as the same thing happened 4 years ago). I spoke with the receptionist to ask about making an appt asap since he is limping because it is painful. (Last time our vet had clipped the nail short and wrapped it, and it healed once it was protected.) I was told that the closest appointment is two weeks away. They would not make any allowance for a dog that is in pain (I understand waiting for anything routine). We know he is healthy because he sees his regular vet every 3 months as he is on a medication. Very disappointing that this vet puts bureaucracy in front of a actually helping out an animal.

Had an appt today at 1:30... and the doctor was fine. No complaints until the annual vaccination and a cytopoint shot. Normally this would take 5 to 10 mins at the very most. 25 mins in my wait I can hear my dog crying but I thought oh they must be looking at her paw (she has an itch) or some kind of exam. Then 35 mins later I still hear my dog crying so I ask one of the lady if she can tell me what's going on with my dog, since it taking so long to give my dog her shots (still thinking that there was a good reason). First response was "I don't know I just got back from lunch". Great that wasn't helpful to ME at all. Then she checked the computer and said "oh she's all done let me just close you out." So now I'm frustrated clearly to me now, there was no reason so I asked again "what happened? why did it take so long", she repeated she didn't know and looked at another staff, who made up a reason and said "she must have gotten a text her to pick up her dog." SHE? Is SHE really talking about me while I'm standing right there listening to a made up excuse? WTH...And no for the record I was on my phone in the waiting room and did not received ant text about my dog for anything today. So no one heard my dog crying for at least 20 mins (she was obviously in a room by herself). What pisses me off even more is I took time out of my work schedule and while that's my decision my time shouldn't be wasted because someone forgot about my dog. I believe I was pretty patient and definitely was not thinking negatively ...I was sure there's a good reason for 1) how long this is taking and 2) why I hear my dog crying. I literally felt I could have been there for another hour and no one would have checked on me or her. And did anyone say sorry for the mix up? Which would make me feel a little better cause that meant acknowledging a misstep. NOPE! Been coming coming here for a few years and it always been fine. I suppose customer service everywhere is at an all time low. However if I'm going to spend a few hundred dollars every year I want my time valued and my pet taken care of for the time we are there. I don't think that's asking for much. Mistakes unfortunately happens but lack of professionalism from the front desk staff has definitely turned me off from this veterinarian practice.

Heard the rumor and saw the reviews but until you've actually taken your pet there, it's hard to describe what a efficient working hospital this is. Dr. Stan was incredibly thorough and explained the issue our dog was going through (urinary infection) and immediately tested for the bacteria and put us on the right antibiotics to get rid of the infections. So far so good and can't say how much I was impressed by Dr Stan and the entire staff here on their professionalism and efficiency and organization.

After losing my Rocky due to the lack of care from VCA on Foothill, we swore to do a better job and find the right vet for our dogs. Well, we found Dr. Stan.Dr. Stan and his staff are amazing. Our Lola had so many health issues and Dr. Stan did everything he could to help her and us. He was very patient with our numerous emails, calls and sometimes I would barge in without an appointment and he was so nice and compassionate.Yesterday we had to say goodbye and I'm crying as I'm writing this but Dr. Stan was so sweet, he asked us all individually if we were on board with this decision and gave us all the time we needed, explained the process and let us be with her as long as we needed and promised to take good care of her even after they took her away.We never felt that he was extending her life to make a buck...we trusted him and when we felt there were no other options, he said it was time. He could have dragged it out and we would have continued to pay but he didn't do that at all.Thank you Dr. Stan...as painful as it has been, your calm and respectful demeanor helped us though this.

From time to time, you come across special people in life. We met that person at Pasadena Pets, his name is Dr. Stan. Your pet is in great hands under his care. The whole clinic is great. Thank you Pasadena Pets.

Quite literally one of the best vet hospitals that I have been to. I've never had a primary vet for my cat because I struggled a lot with finding a proper vet that would provide my cat with proper and attentive care. I brought my cat here last weekend for a general checkup and was pleasantly surprised at how detailed and involved the vet had been. Because it was our first visit, he wanted to know all of my cat's medical history and every single detail about him. This may be normal protocol but in my previous experience, I've never seen a vet show this much care and interest in my cat. This is now my go-to vet hospital and I could not be happier with my experience!

One of the worst vet experiences for us thus far. So many appointment scheduling mishaps that we lost count. The last incident was unforgivable; our puppy (5 months old and only 9 lbs) was prescribed the wrong dose of antibiotics (doubled what it was supposed to be) it would have been fetal for our puppy. The doc gave useless excuses and even suggested we find another vet even though it's her mistake...so unprofessional. We would never come back here and jeopardize our pets' lives.

We're very grateful to Dr. Anna, Felicia and the rest of staff at Pasadena Pets. Our regular vet was too backed up with spaying and we needed to get the puppy fixed sooner than later, for her to continue going to doggie daycare. They took us in, provided a very affordable exam and eval and had us scheduled in no time. Everyone, from the doctor to the front desk, is very caring and detailed-oriented. The place itself is run professionally is clean and has good vibes overall. The appointments run on time.We are very happy with the service provided and will absolutely consider coming back should we need to see a vet!

I have been bringing my daschund Riley for 7 year now, every since he was a baby. I've tried nearly all vets in the area(I'm very picky). I never felt comfortable until I came here. The place is clean, nicely decorated and all the staff are very professional. Everyone works so hard here and it truly shows. I cannot say enough about this place. By the way thank you for doing Riley's root canal today! He's doing well. Grateful!P.S. I'm sorry I was so very late today, but thank you for being accommodating w/ me. :)
