Anthropologie is not an inexpensive place to buy nearly anything; HOWEVER, end of year sales are stupendous, as are all their "sales", & the remarkable variation of home products, as an example, will not be found anywhere else; i.e., extremely unique, bordering on remarkable. In addition, the quality of their products - clothing as well as soaps, candles, and an enormous number of other household decorative items like candlesticks, placemats, etc. etc. are very well-made.I recommend all women to occasionally stop in to their Old Town Pasadena store and have a look, then again and again. All is very good quality.

I didn’t have the greatest shopping experience here. I picked up my order but didn’t like it, so I returned it on the spot. I was supposed to get a refund issued to the original payment but got a store credit instead. I had to escalate the issue to the higher-up at Customer Service. (It’s been over 2 weeks, and they STILL haven’t completed the refund.) Honestly, I don’t understand how they could make a mistake like this when the receipt clearly shows that the refund will be going back to the payment method that I used at the time of purchase. The inconvenience that they’ve caused definitely deters me from ordering anything from Anthropologie moving forward!!!

If you are comfortable with being followed by employees while you shop, then consider stopping by this store. I used to enjoy going to the original location in Pasadena, and was always warmly welcomed. During a very recent trip, I didn't realize that my child and I were being watched at the store (just thought employees just happen to show up in each section of the store we were in) until we arrived at the counter ready to pay. They used as unusual phrase to refer to us: there are friends at the counter (looking back possibly code for something). I found this unusual at the time. Although there were already two cashiers present and no one in line, we had to wait for a third cashier to help us. After paying, we pursued a small display of large items that caught our eye; as we headed out, one of the workers happened to be watching the exit area when we left (didn't see anyone there when we entered the store to shop). Could all be coincidental, but the entire shopping trip didn't sit right with me. Not sure why we were targeted--we are mixed race; we dressed really casually--tee, shorts, sandals; who knows? I must add that I haven't experienced this with all employees at the store, and have overall had no issues in the past, but this experience is the reason I will not longer shop here.

One of the most interesting Anthropologies we have been to.

This review is not for this particular store but for Furniture Services policies. The Anthro website would not accept my review for the Tamsin Colliqual chairs and the issue of attaching seat to base (reported by man) so I am leaving it here.I was gifted two Tamsin Colloquial chairs by a person I can no longer contact. Having the same issue as many others with the seat & base I requested replacement clips from Furniture Services. Because I did not have original order #/email of purchaser they would not send clips. I asked if I could just purchase them but they would not process without order number. I would think a company like Anthro could work around this if they chose to truly offer customer support. Very disappointed.

This Anthro gets it wrong ALL. THE. TIME. And it's a shame bc I can walk to this location from my apartment. Prices are constantly incorrect- Most recently (today) inquired abt a dress in the sale section to make sure price tag was correct (Sale items usually have red markdown price or another price on top of the normal price- This did not) and in fitting room attendant was certain the price marked was absolutely correct. No, "Let me double check for you" and no, "Let me see if one of my associates can check". Just plain old "Oh yeah that's the sale price we probably just forgot to put it in red" despite the tag clearly being the original price tag. I left the dress there (NO SALE FOR YOU!) then checked my phone when I got back home. The price, indeed, was incorrect and the sale price was actually HALF of what was on the tag. I've purchased other HOME sale items here in the past only to find the very same day upon returning home that the sale price should've been half the price. Buyer beware and check your phone before buying from this location. Not sure if it's sales associate laziness or pure mistakes.

This store keeps rearranging the floor for absolutely no good reason. It makes it inconsistent and makes your shopping experience weird - like the store is always in transition and never fully settled and you don't know what to expect. I'm happy to have an Anthro store in Pas but I wish they would have a bigger selection of items. They have much better stuff in other stores and online. It's like we get second rate goods here. And the windows are not what you would expect from Anthro (

This used to be my favorite store, but things have changed.Overpriced. Low quality. Bad designs. Poor customer service. Mass produced. They have owed me money since May 2022 and redirect me to have someone else take care of the problem every time I tell them the issue has still not been resolved.

I think the Caucasian staff is only interested in its Caucasian older lady customers. Not one greeting to me an Asian woman as I slowly browse. Instead I hear the meme worthy clink of the store associates' keys on her wrist pass right by me as she greets the white lady 2 ft away from me. I can almost feel the avoidant micro aggression way too vividly. This place has a lot of merchandise but a weird vibe. Never going back.

By far, the BEST Anthropologie store I have ever been to. Everyone working here is so kind and helpful!!! Everything in the store was clean and organized. The ladies working here are phenomenal, especially Sharis! She was so helpful, kind, patient, and made sure I found the size I was looking for. I will definitely be back- best location.

Racists and haters lowkey working there-types that are bullies for sure. Went in during the evening after work to return dresses/tops I bought during Covid. Were accommodating but saw them give the stink eye. A lot of people assume that people are buying outfits wearing them once and returning them….not everyone does that!!. Just because I’m black and young and am buying nice things doesn’t mean I’m doing that….I can buy anything I want in your store without needing to return... Got what I needed that day but definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I write a lot of 5 start google reviews so the fact that I didn’t for this one should say something about the culture of this store. Salty rude workers. Thanks to the only black woman working, walked away happy with my purchase. Thanks whoever you were!

Sadly, I am going to be one of many to give Anthropologie Pasadena a single star- if I could I would rate this store a 0 star since I felt the service almost bordered to a racist level. I simply wanted to return an item I had bought that did not suit my daughter for whom I had bought the top. The Sales associate (#196930) was so absolutely demeaning- she began by asking my cell number and when it did not match an act I offered my email for my Anthropologie account. This associate denounced me loudly by saying " it doesn't matter" since the refund will be based on my credit card. She then proceeded to to read out my credit card last 4 digit and as I tried to look it up she said "it doesn't matter" it already went through - she then had access to my name and email number and yet asked for my name and I tried to show her my name on my credit card she dismissed me by saying" I don;t need your credit card, just spell your name" and then proceeded to spell my email address out loudly so everyone around us could hear her. I finally told her I had never been treated so poorly at Anthropolgie and she proceeded to fumble and throw my card on the counter and said " Iam sorry but it's been a long day". I really felt as a white person she felt she could dish her frustrations publicly at me due to my color; I simply had say "OK" since i did not want to reduce myself to her level. The saddest part is that everyone looked at her quitely without being able to say anything. Shame on Anthropologie for allowing such horrible treatment get away. I have been coming to Anthropology in Old town for many years but never again. I'll take my business to Glendale and hope all the other reviews with 1 star will be noticed by the Anthropologie headquarters so they can make changes or close the store!
