Family dollar store here is really made huge improvements in all aspects of this store. It’s close to home so we walk there all the time to pick up odds and ends and staples in grocery. There has been a change In leadership here in the last several months to a year and you can see and feel it right away if you had been here before and now it’s night and day. Store and it’s employees have all cleaned up very nicely. It’s the difference between the school dance and the prom. Both are fun and entertaining but everyone puts a little more elbow grease behind the prom. Service is excellent here, cleanliness is spot on, customers are even friendlier due to the now ability to find what you need because it’s organized and all items have a price tag on them. Prices are very good and you can always find great deals, they even have a app you can download and get additional coupons savings they even walked me through how to do this here and I live it, so easy and the savings is very big don’t miss out on doing that. Thank you team at family dollar on Somerset Blvd in paramount. Your hard work shows sincerely John Shinn very satisfied customer!

This is one of my favorite family dollars to come to. The customer service is awesome and I want to give a special shout out to the cashier Bernice! She goes above and beyond to keep the customers satisfied. Keep up the good work Bernice and thank you so much for always being pleasant and welcoming! ?

Shelves were empty, detergent is hidden in the back and manager Bernice makes her own terms for returns. Not a great experience.

This store has a variety of things you won't find in others, the only downtime is when paying, the lines are a bit wait especially if you paying with card. Other than that, it's worth going.

The store supervisor "Bee" provided me with the most terrible customer service I've ever experienced. She refused to load my cash card despite the location being listed as a place to deposit. She told me that family dollar only loads on the east coast which I know for a fact Is a lie because I've loaded at several locations on the west coast. She rudely told me to please move out the line because she has paying customers in line, mind you, I still spent $18 during my visit. I needed the money to be loaded to I could Uber back home to Tustin, now I don't know where I will be sleeping tonight or how I'm getting home.

This store is wack! The price of items is always different when checking out than they are marked with those little tags on the shelves. The ONLY reason is go to this store is it is very close to where I stay store number 11401 in Paramount. I would really be happy if I could speak to someone in Corporate via telephone, not typing on a cell phone keyboard.
