“All good things to say about my first order experience with Andes Florist! First, I placed an order online and realized the delivery address was incorrect. I called them not realizing it was outside of their business hours to correct my mistake and Claudia called me back right away. She immediately corrected the delivery address, and the flowers were delivered that same morning. So so beautiful, I am very pleased with the service as well as the arrangement. I ordered the long stem roses in a glass vase, standard, and it was very similar to the advertised photo; it was made full. The newly wed couple who received it thought it was so beautiful. “Flower Duet is the best -- especially Casey who was our incredibly knowledgeable and kind mentor. My spouse and I wanted to DIY our florals for our wedding, but knew we had a lot to learn about floristry before we could make that happen. We took the LA Flower Mart Tour (which was very informative and made the Flower Mart much more approachable) as well as a private lesson. Casey designed the private class for exactly what we needed to learn and we spent an afternoon at the lovely Flower Duet shop learning and practicing. Casey also checked in with us and supported us as we ordered, processed, and arranged our flowers. We could never have done it without Casey. “I was looking for a local florist who could deliver flowers for a funeral on short notice. Bloom House was incredibly communicative and followed up to ask questions so they could make sure the arrangement was ordered on time. They even sent a photo before they arranged for delivery to ensure that I was happy with the arrangement, which is unheard of! I order flowers quite often for friends and family, and while I’ve found that you’re always compromising something, such as reliability/expediency, quality of flowers, size, value, website/ordering process, communication/customer service, etc, Bloom House exceeded my expectations.
The arrangement was beautiful, and I’m very impressed with the level of service I received! I will definitely be using them again for friends in the area.”

I’ve bought a few drought-resistant plants here and they’ve survived despite my forgetful watering habits. What’s more great is that the price is reasonable and the plants include a nice potter and arrangement. Would recommend to anyone!”

“Over a decade ago, a family member told me that Fleur de Lys is the best florist in town, so I started to use them whenever I need an arrangement in San Pedro or Rancho Palos Verdes. This requires a certain level of trust, because I live in Colorado and, most of the time, am not around to inspect the arrangement myself. Fleur de Lys has never let me down with dead flowers or a bad arrangement. I felt compelled to write this review after Fleur de Lys sent an especially beautiful stand arrangement for my uncle's funeral, and my cousin commented after the funeral that our family's arrangement was one of the nicest there. Nova, in particular, is a gem of a human who provides excellent customer service, and who always keeps in close touch with me to ensure that we are happy with the finished product. I should also note that, several years ago, they prepared stand arrangement for my father's funeral in the shape of a cross, filled with hydrangeas and birds of paradise, which beautifully honored his memory. I cannot recommend them highly enough! If you need flowers in San Pedro or the surrounding area, Fleur de Lys is hands down the best. Don't give it a second thought.”

“I love the fresh roses and carnations. I bought a bunch of roses with baby breaths and I asked if they can arrange it for me and they did. Of course for a small fee. The more you add in your arrangement, the more you'll pay. I got two arrangements out of the bunch of roses I bought. They did a beautiful job. The only thing is that you'll probably have to wait like 30 minutes or more. They can be very busy at times”

She wasn't afraid to do wedding flowers that were more colorful and unique than the usual thing. She let us know which options were practical for our desired designs and executed brilliantly. “Katie came recommended to us by a friend who had booked her for his wedding a year prior. She was fantastic from the get-go, even before we officially signed her on as our florist! At our initial meeting, she asked lots of questions, looked at our inspiration photos, and most importantly of all, she listened. I love peonies, which unfortunately are out of season in September when our wedding was, and after meeting with multiple florists who told me that we'd have to change our vision, I was beginning to lose hope. Katie was the only one who listened to what we wanted and came up with a creative solution so that we could get a similar peony-like look with alternative, in-season flowers. She showed photos at our initial meeting and then brought samples at the subsequent meeting, and after seeing her ideas in person, we were sold!
Katie and her team offered a level of service that the other florists I'd looked into couldn't even compare to. Not only did she provide rentals in the form of the circular arch for our ceremony, glassware for the centerpieces, and LED votives for the tables, but she and her team also flipped all of the arrangements used in the ceremony during cocktail hour so that they could be repurposed for the reception. This saved us a lot of money, and also resulted in the reception ballroom looking incredibly lush with florals. Her pricing was also much more competitive than the other florists, even without taking the repurposing into account! As a result, her value simply couldn't be beat.
The day of the wedding, I saw my bouquet and the ceremony arch and they took my breath away. Every piece from the smallest boutonniere to the flower girl wreaths to the cake florals and the centerpieces were absolutely stunning. She and her team nailed it, and if I had to do it all over again, I would sign her on in a heartbeat.
If you are looking for a wedding (or anything!) florist who knocks it out of the park with her designs and creativity, is the best value around, and is overall a fun and spirited person to work with, look no further! Katie is the best there is.
