“I went to University Avenue, Palo Alto on a leisure walk. Saw a KEEN store on the way, and I am also looking for a Hiking shoe by the way for simpler hikes. I was assisted by Sonia, who was so patient, meticulous, and nice. Measuring my feet, explaining about multiple shoes and their quirks. Loved the KEEN NXIS speed and picked up a pair of. I love the shoes, it's comfy and fit for my feet. This was a wholesome shopping experience, even better than the ones in REI, which themselves are generally good.”

“10/29/23I returned to order the petite jeans. This time the POS system was working. Teresa was very polite and helpful in getting my jeans ordered and expedited to me. I asked for the name of yesterday's cashier because I'd like to acknowledge her. She was very polite and patient while I tried to get my credit card problem resolved. Her name, I believe is Raji.. thank you all at Madewell 10/28/23Today I went shopping for jeans. I've worn Madewell jeans for quite a few years now so I stopped in there to see if I could find a replacement pair of jeans. I found that the style I currently have do not fit the same way as before so I tried on a new style, Vintage in dark wash. Hummm I liked them but since I'm short, the salesperson, Christina, suggested I try the petite version of the jeans.I decided to go ahead and purchase the ones they had in the store and order the petite version. When it came time to process the purchases, my credit card kept getting declined. I called my credit card company and they assured me that the card was working. It still would not process...the cashier there was very kind and patient, which I very much appreciated. She tried and tried and even moved the sale to a different register. Nothing worked.Brian, one of the managers came over to see what was happening and took the time to assist me in determining what the problem was. I am very appreciative of his professionalism and patience as we continued to try to get my card to work. It turned out that the simple purchase transaction went fine, but there was a problem with the on-line order where my card address was different from the ship to address. Brian hung in there with me trying everything and never showed any impatience.I am very impressed with the level of customer service and patience I experienced today...It was not a huge sale, just a pair of jeans.Thank you Madewell for the excellent customer service. I will go back another day to see if the problem has been resolved so I can order another pair of jeans..”

“Wonderful children's shoe store! The people who work here are so nice to the kids who come in. This is the BEST store for babies, toddlers and young kids. Yes, the price is a little more expensive but that's probably because Palo Alto is very expensive. But also...the people here carefully measure your kids' feet and talk through the different types of shoes and fits. Also - one of my kids has a leg issue and the doctor prescribed special shoes for him. Howard's immediately helped. My son's doctor said this is the store they recommend for any kids who need any corrective shoes. I read some of the negative reviews below and those comments are silly. I'm sorry, one guy said he was disappointed because he brought his mother into the store? It's a children's shoe store, bro. Also, I'm not sure about the refund issue but my guess...: a. Kids wear shoes without socks often, b. Kids (including mine) are often pretty gross.”

“This is one of the best and biggest anthro branches. They have amazing flower artists in the Terrain section, and an expansive bhldn wedding section with special dressing rooms for the wedding dresses. There’s nothing you can’t find here. Staff is also super friendly every time”

“Love this store! Jacob was superhelpful in helping me find a great business suit! He went out of his way to help me find shoes similar to what I'd pair with the suit to get a better feel of how it would look put together. The tailor, Mr.Said, took careful measurements and voila the suit was ready in a couple weeks! And Peter today helped me pick it up. (And he may have a second career as a Yelp cinematographer!) Super gracious! Zegna never disappoints! Been here before and now back again!”

On the first floor is the cologne/perfume area, and I looked for a Dolce & Gabbana area, which they don't have. When I asked someone, I got attention from three people who were eager for me to try some exclusive brand that NM carries. We started talking about cologne scents like others discuss wine, which was new for me. Do I like citrus, or something a bit astringent? I didn't even know how to answer, but they had plenty of options for me to try. They handed me a glass of champagne, and even offered a second, which I declined. I took a look at the third floor restaurant and bar, because I was more likely to eat there than shop much elsewhere in the store. The menu looked casual impressive. Again, I really enjoy looking around a NM, regardless of whether I get anything.”

“I love the aesthetic of this brand and how lowkey it is. If you're looking for luxury that isn't noticeable or well known, this is the brand for you. I've invested in a lot of Jenni Kayne pieces and my favorite product is the cashmere fisherman turtleneck. It's the most perfect winter sweater and I have it in three colors. Unfortunately, I've had my share of quality issues with this brand. I had one cashmere fisherman sweater rip in two places (after only a handful of wears as I work from home) and a jacket that stained very easily. I've also noticed that the sandals sustain damages/scratches pretty easily and is very delicate. That being said, the customer service at the Palo Alto location is *GREAT* and I was surprised to see the amount of negative reviews left on here. They gladly replaced an item for me and when it still wasn't working out, they offered me a return.”

“I wanted to give a huge shout out to Martov. It was such a terrible shopping experience through Neiman Marcus. My order was delivered wrong 3 times in a row. It Took me more than a month to pick up my order. Without Martov, I might still be sitting at home speaking with customer service. I appreciate Martov and the team behind him. He literally took all the responsibility for those Online services team and their carelessness. Martov’s help was very significant and has made a positive impact in my experience shopping with Neiman Marcus. Martov deserves a better position than what he has now.
