SKIP THIS GOODWILL! Products same price as retail and the only clothing available are t-shirts from failed start ups. There is no parking here, no signage, and unfriendly staff. Don’t try donating since they are all extremely rude and charge for it changing the price from 25 to 30 to then 35. Then saying it never changed! I’m not sure what’s happening here but it’s very shady BEWARE!!!!

This one is my least favorite Goodwill in the area. The selection of clothes and toys is very limited and the store always feels messy by some reason. In my last visit the cashier complained about my backpack that I was wearing, I asked twice but didn't get an idea on what exactly they don't like about it, so decided to leave the store. I am not sure what policy is there about backpack, hope the management can comment here?

Items are priced higher than retail stores in many cases, you can’t return or exchange. So it’s better to go to a retail store, just in case any item is not working for you, you can return and get your money back.

Disappointed in Goodwill, everything is expensive. Things are lasting longer in stores makes things back up and become wasteful.

The displays of items are always timely and attractively stocked. Special sale prices often give extra savings. The staff are helpful, pleasant and cheerful. We always find wonderful clothes or household items that we are very happy with and enjoy.

Not worth a visit as this is a terrible Goodwill - prices are ridiculously high. Some prices were higher than buying the same in Walmart. For example, they had socks at $7.99 per pair. The quality of the merchandise is not good. No crystal or nice plates and the jewelry case was basically empty.

Hello, to the response down below. Let me clarify, the associates nor the manager told my mom the bags of jewelry were on hold for someone else. And she was the second person in after the store opened. The first person had nothing to do with the bags. Then it was my mom. She came in first before the guy did. They just told her in an extremely rude manner... "No, we don't have any today." Not that the bags were on hold for someone else. My mom understands it's a first come and first serve...and they normally put out 2 or 3 bags rarely does my mom take all of them. So she doesn't understand why she was treated so badly....I can give you a date and time when my mom was in the store to help you understand more how it all went down. And if you have cameras so you can check them too. We have nothing to hide. I hope this situation is addressed and the EEs and manager are transplant about the way this situation went down with my mom. Because of if right now it sounds like they are all lying: She cried when she got home. And she will no longer come to this store. That's how badly of an imprint they left on her. My mom comes here to buy the bags of fake jewelry, every Wednesday. For the last few weeks. She likes to spend her day going through the bag to find pretty gems. As it helps her anxiety and stress after the loss of my sister on December 15th 2022. Today she went in looking for the bags of fake jewelry. The associates and management treated my mom horribly. The associates and management decided to place the bags of fake jewelry on hold for a guy that also comes in to buy the bags of fake jewelry. To the person they would prefer to sell it to. She saw when the guy arrived and they proceed to wait until my mom left the store to sell the bags of jewelry to the guy. I was not aware that you could place items on hold at a Goodwill. Or that the associates and management could decide who they want to sell certain items to. They treated my mom so horrible that she left feeling incredibly discriminated. She will never again come to this Goodwill. Shame on you Goodwill of Palo Alto.

I am at a loss of words. Goodwill pretends to be this altruistic organization and a lot of people fall for it and donate to them but it is such a predatory organization and we are just watching it get more and more en emboldened to prey on the community with their crazy prices. Their pricing is RIDICULOUS, how they have been able to get away with this is beyond me. They literally are pricing all household items as close as they can to their original price. It's insane. Shoes are 19.99, pants 12.99 and you won't find a shirt for under 9.99. They are so happy to contribute to the already sadistic economic climate. But get this, they don't accept returns and don't do store credit either. I hope that people start donating their items to a different non profit. Don't embolden this "non profit" that is making record breaking profits.

Don’t come here. Prices are crazy for being a “thrift/2nd hand store” - majority are priced as if “new” on eBay. Avoid at all costs!

There is a young woman who works here with dark hair who is so sweet. The best employee at this Goodwill.

This donation center closes without notice at random hours. I called in advance and they stated clearly they open until 7pm. Arrived at 6:30 and they were refusing people’s donations. Very poorly managed.

Not worth a visit. Prices are crazy high. It wasn't always that way. Zero chance of finding a.bargain at this store.
