“They sell things very cheaply. As cheap as it is, you have to think about the complete quality of the product, right? However, if you choose well, you can purchase very good products and ingredients.”

“We shop here once in a while on a whim / impulse. They sell a lot of thrifty household items and products at a pretty discounted price. Haven't gotten any bad products from this place. When you line up there are also snacks and drinks to buy. Not a bad place to browse around after eating at this plaza.”

“Kind of like a flea market for food. You probably won't find everything you need, but what you do find is a good deal. - Update: you have to hurry before inflation ruins the good deals. - Too late ... inflation has found Grocery Outlet. However, their prices are still less than a typical grocery store. How can the $4.99 rotisserie chicken at Costco still be $4,99? And their $1.50 hot dog and soda still be $1.50?”

“Part of it is the expiry date, so check the expiration date carefully, things are really cheap! Some are much cheaper than Costco, and everyone has their own needs. It’s a good place to shop if you’re looking for economy.”

“I really like this grocery outlet. It’s pretty small but they have a very good vegan food section. I went there tonight to get a specific vegan item and they didn’t have it, but they may have it in the future. The people there are nice and it’s usually not very crowded. It’s a great alternative to the Santa Clara grocery outlet, which is horrible. There was a recent change in ownership and they’ve decimated the vegan food section. It’s hard to even go there. It’s so sad. The prior owners were so much more vegan friendly. The new owners seem to enjoy dead animals. oh and parking is usually easy too.”

“I love this store. They have discounts and don't scare me silly like the other stores. I am black skinned and get super scared when I have an uninvited escort around the store.Maybe they follow me round the store but I didn't notice it or feel insecure about it. Thank you”

“Based on the day, and time of day you may encounter a friendly staff member who will smile at you from behind their face masks. But that's okay, because they assist the customers when needed and aren't rude. Not everyone is about making small talk when checking out and that's okay. I always make large purchases of close to $100 dollars for my job. At least twice a month. So you can imagine the people behind me in the checkout line are pretty annoyed and frustrated for my large transaction. Especially when there is only one cashier. But the cashiers never give me any negative vibes. They are always courteous and polite, even when we can all hear the customers in line complaining.”

“Items used to be a dollar now $1.25 + tax So you can't expect much from the place. They have a big variety of items and is a great place to buy inexpensive ornaments for holidays or parties. They usually have big lines and the store is busy. You will be lucky to find more than 2 registers open.”

“I like this store better than the one in Belmont. Even tho it's a bit crazy there, they got more of a better variety of things and the staff is way better with being friendly and helping you out. And the store manager is a lot nicer too.”

“Dollar store on 199 Middlefield Rd. in Mountain view. Cashier was very nice and polite and very respectful unlike in other stores. Thank you for your excellent service.”

“This Ross is pretty clean and organized; usually Ross is pretty hectic with many items not in the correct spot. You can find some hidden gems here; I found a really nice top and a cute maxi dress for a very reasonable price. My husband also found some oven mitts that had a really nice design on it. If you're in the area, I do recommend stopping by this department store and see what you can find here!”

“Since getting to know the owner, he's quick to help me, very polite, nice to chat with. My only complaint is he doesn't have Pepsi in 12pk's, otherwise good little market."AND YEAH I WOULD CHANGE THE NAME"”

“Finally a Five Below on the Peninsula. Looks like most things are $5 or below per the name. I'm not too sure about the electronics and some other stuff lasting all that long but fun if you want to browse and pick up a few tchotchkes for the house.I picked up the Riza Hawkeye Funko and some makeup. A lot of the makeup is similar to what I'd see in a Dollar Tree (e.g. LA Girl) so perhaps some of this stuff might be slightly over priced for what it is ($3-$4 vs $1.25)?They also had some travel sized goodies so I picked up a Method body wash for the road for $3.They have self check out in front. Oddly half the of the registers were closed though...”

“I came for small pieces of Velcro for my alarm sensors and they had the perfect thing. I had to ask a couple of customers where to look and they got the job done. For $2.50 I got two packs.”

“Our water in Santa Clara contains substantial ground water which frequently doesn't taste that great so we've been buying five gallon bottles of drinking water for nearly thirty years. I discovered Jenny's recently and couldn't be happier, you buy a twenty five dollar card and it costs 25 cents per gallon, better than most dispensary machines. I wish I knew about the store when we hosted birthday parties for our children it's filled with all sorts of five and dime items and lots of things young children might want. Certainly worth taking a quick look, wish I had done it sooner.”
