Very often we buy buckwheat there and condensed milk. Everything is good, a lot of products from Ukraine, Russia and closest countries to them. Thank you!

This place has lots of interesting options for snacks and food and I'm sure it's a relief for some international visitors to find things they like! The Tylenol (or headache equivalent) was half the price here compared to the corner gas station. Lesson learned for me!

This store has been a community trove for many years, but since it was purchased by the family of its current owners, it has become even better. Now you can buy Gravenstein apples from Sonoma county during their short season and while it is very hard to find them elsewhere. You can buy fresh red currants often, and Mexican onions, and fresh Italian prunes which are also hard to find elsewhere, and cleaned up radishes, and succulent fresh dill in LARGE bunches (and not a measly packaged amount as at Trader Joe's) and other fresh goodies. The entire family works at the store and family members are often at the cash register, greeting customers. I regularly get Lifeway's Greek kefir, Labne (very thick Middle Eastern yogurt wonderful in dips), Russian farmers' cheese, Finnish whole rye crackers, German whole rye bread, Russian sour cabbage (Russian sauerkraut made without vinegar), Norwegian herring, Turkish delight... it is a world tour. There is also an impressive frozen section. You can buy, frozen, tiny true Russian cranberries which are different from American cranberries. And this is also the only place I know where you can get frozen sea buckthorn berries. I have experimented with them and settled on making the following hot drink (my own recipe!): take a handful of frozen sea buckthorns, add boiling water, put a cinnamon stick and thrown in a few star anise pods. Brew for a while. It is delicious and to me taste it does not require any sweetening. Thank you to the family of owners, a Russian speaking family from Uzbekistan. I hope you are here to stay.

A family-owned business with the most kindhearted, hardworking, and hospitable owners and employees. The produce is always fresh and ripe. The melons the owner handpicked for me was pure honey. There are so many products from all over that walking through the isles is like traveling around the world. I can't wait when they open the deli to taste the delicious Uzbek plov and other Middle Asian delicacies.

Great selection of European foods. Beautiful heirloom tomatoes. I found pickled garlic scapes, which are hard to find.

Crossroads Specialty Foods Palo Alto CA Fri 8/4/23 © Excellent selection of products here. Turkish, Israeli, Polish, Russian, Greek, from all around the world. Cottage cheeses, feta, hummus, original and flavored Kefirs and other dairy. Polish sausages, smoked sausages and meats, pickles and pickled cabbage (sauerkraut), mushrooms, Russian rye, pirozjki and pelmeni, Armenian treats, wines and spirits... Plenty of Eastern European choices. Fresh produce, too! Artisanal breads, delicious jams and preserves. It's all great, very reasonably priced, and the Crossroads indeed. In my review 8 years ago I noted one thing regrettable was that the former owner, Hani, who used to be there all the time when they first opened, didn't frequent the store as often, thus at some point in the past customer service took a quick dive. The store has changed ownership couple of years ago, and new owner Murat is keeping the inventory plentiful and selections meaningful, he brought it up a notch or two, that's for sure! They're working on layout improvements, new freezer equipment & about to open up a deli section. Roomy interior offers plenty of space for expanding the offerings! Thank you Murat for continuous efforts to make the Crossroads yet better every year! *I did my best, it wasn't much I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you And even though it all went wrong I'll stand before the Lord of Song With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah! Refreshing change to Eastern European delicacy stores scenery in the Bay area. Not crammed with products like others, great selection of beers and wines. Fresh cakes, friendly service, and a spacious shopping area. I also would like to thank the owners children for always providing friendly service and attention to the customers needs. You are doing great job! Thank you!

I am amazed by the vast abundance of grocery products, neat racks, and shelves, with various goods and even fresh produce that has never been in the assortment of the previous owners. Murad, the owner of this miracle store, is an amiable and kind man who is always ready to help you choose the right product. I was surprised by the variety of groceries and the meticulous accuracy of displaying all foods. I always feel great pleasure and satisfaction buying high-quality products in this store.

They always have great selection of central and eastern European staples as well as treats. We keep coming back weekly, because they keep adding or rotating their inventory, which is wonderful if you want to try something new. Lots of Ukrainian, Moldovian, etc staples. Owners are very lovely as well.

A small European grocery store with some well-priced fruit and vegetables. You can easily try cheese, beer, and goodies from a variety of countries.

My husband stopped by the store yesterday for first time. He bought a farmers cheese. Package was sealed and had expiration date 04/05/23. Today is March 21st. We opened packages and saw the mold! Pictures attached. How it is possible that sealed product which will be expired only in 2 weeks has mold? I would not recommend to shop there.
