“I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Tommy Bahama store, and I must say it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a tropical paradise. The store's vibrant and inviting atmosphere truly captured the essence of the Tommy Bahama brand.One of the first things that caught my attention was the impeccable interior design. The store's layout was well-organized, making it easy to navigate and explore the wide variety of products available.The staff at Tommy Bahama was incredibly friendly and helpful. They greeted me with warm smiles and were always ready to assist me with any questions or requests I had. Their extensive knowledge about the products and their genuine enthusiasm for the brand made my shopping experience even more enjoyable.”

“10/29/23I returned to order the petite jeans. This time the POS system was working. Teresa was very polite and helpful in getting my jeans ordered and expedited to me. I asked for the name of yesterday's cashier because I'd like to acknowledge her. She was very polite and patient while I tried to get my credit card problem resolved. Her name, I believe is Raji.. thank you all at Madewell 10/28/23Today I went shopping for jeans. I've worn Madewell jeans for quite a few years now so I stopped in there to see if I could find a replacement pair of jeans. I found that the style I currently have do not fit the same way as before so I tried on a new style, Vintage in dark wash. Hummm I liked them but since I'm short, the salesperson, Christina, suggested I try the petite version of the jeans.I decided to go ahead and purchase the ones they had in the store and order the petite version. When it came time to process the purchases, my credit card kept getting declined. I called my credit card company and they assured me that the card was working. It still would not process...the cashier there was very kind and patient, which I very much appreciated. She tried and tried and even moved the sale to a different register. Nothing worked.Brian, one of the managers came over to see what was happening and took the time to assist me in determining what the problem was. I am very appreciative of his professionalism and patience as we continued to try to get my card to work. It turned out that the simple purchase transaction went fine, but there was a problem with the on-line order where my card address was different from the ship to address. Brian hung in there with me trying everything and never showed any impatience.I am very impressed with the level of customer service and patience I experienced today...It was not a huge sale, just a pair of jeans.Thank you Madewell for the excellent customer service. I will go back another day to see if the problem has been resolved so I can order another pair of jeans..”

“The Athleta in Palo Alto is my go-to shop for athleisure clothing. As much as I appreciate the convenience of online shopping, I love being able to try things on in store when I'm not sure about a style or I'm not sure about the sizing of something. The store is always very clean and pleasant, and the staff is courteous and helpful.”

“Vuori is one of luxury activewears competing with other two brands in Stanford shopping center. Cannot say whose product quality is the best, but definitely Vuori’s sales associate is on the top in terms of customer services.I visited Vuori several times. The staff is always friendly, showed willing to help, but not aggressive and pushy. One of the recent visits, I tried to find an item that’s sold out from online. I showed the item to one of the staff Noah. There was no inventory at store as expected. However, Noah was going beyond and called both Santana Row and SF stores. Eventually I am able to get the item which I didn’t hold much hope before visiting. Kudos Noah!Afterall, Vuori’s DreamKnits is super comfortable and definitely will go back to purchase more”

“Having not purchased 501 jeans in decades, I was blown away how salesperson, Maggie, after asking me a couple questions, handed me only ONE pair of jeans to try on (despite me having no idea what size I needed). They fit perfectly! She's a sizing genius!”

He was patient while I asked a lot of questions about how different styles and fabrics fit and wear. And he brought me several styles and a couple sizes to try. I walked out a very happy, well informed customer.”

“Such a great boutique! Whenever I visit Palo Alto, Cassis is top of the list of places to go. Wonderful, helpful staff and great clothes. Each time I visit I end up buying so much I need then to ship it home for me! (Which they are happy to do for me!) Just left with another great haul and already looking forward to our next visit.”

“I love shopping at the store for the men in my life. I recently bought a shirt for my daughters boyfriend for Xmas. I gave two shirts in different sizes to see which fit better and wanted them back so I could wrap them as presents. He did not want to give one back because he liked it so much. I finally convinced him to return it. He's very fit but a little muscular and loved the slim, large fit. It's now a joke in our family that it's his favorite shirt to my daughters annoyance. Really terrific staff at the palo Alto location. I have also purchased several very nice dresses for myself. These are some of my favorite dressy casual's.”

“My fiance bought me Chanel for my birthday this year. Although we've been together for 13 years he still seems to impress me. I went into the store to exchange my gift for another pair although the one he got me was beautiful, I had my eyes on something else. The girl that was helping us was very helpful. They had a lot of selections of purses and sunglasses. You do have to stand in line as they open the Rope for you to get in and out they don't let too many people in at once. Everyone there was very welcoming and they made our shopping experience nice.”

“I have walked by this Johnny Was many times and not stopped in. I used to wear Johnny was decades ago when Cielo was at Kahala Mall and June brought in the line. Their things were always beautiful and so comfortable to wear. Today I stopped in and asked what they might have that I could wear. I'm short, barely 5 feet. Kim took the time to pull several things for me..mid-calf length. Nope, nope, maybe. I tried the maybe on twice. Kim and Poulomi both helped with suggestions on how to wear the dress. They were polite and nice without being pushy. Ok, I ended up with a new dress. Thank you ladies for being nice and helpful. They even gave me a really nice shopping bag that folds into itself!... and a little bottle of water.”

“I went to Urban Outfitters today to return something that I bought for my granddaughter. I bought the item before Christmas and lost my receipt. I only had the transaction on my credit card. Josh assisted me and was very helpful. He patiently went through the transactions of that day trying to find the purchase so that he could create a receipt. He gets an A+ for customer service.”

“i went in on a sat in nov to try on the cerium lt hoody and got it. it is very warm and lightweight. they have six colors on the website but there were only a few in the store. but it's good to go to the store so you can check the fit.the store was really crowded and busy as it was the weekend and it's not as nice or spacious as the northface store around the corner. but they still gave me useful advice and info and i like their jackets better than the TNF.the downtown SF store in union square was a better experience, you get more attention from the staff but i went there on a weekday. if i were to go again, i would go to the SF store on a weekday as it's more relaxed.”

“Seroun and the rest of the staff at WB were amazing. Usually salespeople at higher end boutiques can be standoffish, but these girls were kind and warm. They gave great suggestions without being pushy at all. The designer inventory here is much better (and better organized) than next door Neiman's, plus they have amazing sales. We will definitely be coming back!”

“This was fun. Blondie and I stopped by to just look around. I'm not in a position to shop here, except for something special perhaps. On the first floor is the cologne/perfume area, and I looked for a Dolce & Gabbana area, which they don't have. When I asked someone, I got attention from three people who were eager for me to try some exclusive brand that NM carries. We started talking about cologne scents like others discuss wine, which was new for me. Do I like citrus, or something a bit astringent? I didn't even know how to answer, but they had plenty of options for me to try. They handed me a glass of champagne, and even offered a second, which I declined. I took a look at the third floor restaurant and bar, because I was more likely to eat there than shop much elsewhere in the store. The menu looked casual impressive. Again, I really enjoy looking around a NM, regardless of whether I get anything.”

“Pricey, but wonderful clothes. They carry many designer brands, plus some Japanese brands that I have seen before. The staff is very attentive. If you can't afford their clothes, check out the sale rack. You might just score a great find!”

“I have bought a few articles of this brand from Bloomingdales. I was thrilled to see they opened a store at Stanford Mall. The clothes stocked were cute and a variety of sizes. The young man working was extremely friendly and personable. He helped me findy size and was just a delightful person which is a plus when shopping. I left with a few items I can't wait to wear.”

Went with his expertise.Had to leave with the beautiful white shirts Lisha brought over...and ordered another bespoke sport coat! And went with Jeff's recommended white buttons for added flare! Should look fab at work and at play! (Cue in 80's-theme jingle riff)Cuz' I love workin' and playin' day and night. Brunello's got the look that's right. Would buy everything again! “Wandered into Marine Layer as it was my first time in the shopping center and I had recognized some of the clothes that were out on display from the outside that I had seen in other small boutiques. I did not know much about the brand until that day. The guy on staff was super nice and knowledgable in the brand and the clothes. I learned a lot on my first visit and it had left a memorable mark. If you haven't felt the material of the clothes, well, they feel absolutely amazing! I like how a lot of their styles are classic items while others have more style and fun colors, patterns, or materials used. I created a mental list of some of the items I hope to add to my cart when I am able to again. He mentioned how some of these items would be great to wear while traveling and I totally can picture it. Comfy, casual, can be fashionable in your own way, dress it up or down, there are many ways to style Marine Layer clothes. I also liked how this is a San Francisco brand. Thought the fitting room decor back area was also really nice - set a nice mood. The t-shirt or apparel vending machine in the back was also a cool little thing they had there. Some of the items are on the pricey side, but there are also reasonably priced items and some that have a deal like buy 3 get % off or something of that nature. They had a good amount of items on their sale section too.”

“Thanks so much to the cashier at this location who helped me yesterday afternoon. I noticed a loose thread on the sweater I was going to buy. I mentioned that I didn't think it was my fault(it caught on my earring when I was taking it off) but expected her to say either nothing or say that it probably was. Instead, she didn't even address it but offered to get me a new one. All done in a matter of moments. Wow! She's got it down. Great training or very smart sales associate. Customer for life now.”

“This store is a hidden gem!I walked past this store several times before my visit. Each time my boyfriend said, "you have to go in here one day! Stop- just take a look in the window. Look at her interesting pieces!"This week, I had the time to finally stop in and peruse. "G", of G. V., was very personable. We talked while I found hidden treasure after hidden treasure. I was looking for some fresh new pieces of clothing to update my wardrobe to go to Chicago and meet my boyfriend's family. I found many things. From classic to artsy- edge- y. All the while, G and I were having a great conversation.Since COVID, I have experienced a waning bar in customer service. That won't happen here! G is amazing. Her store has something for everyone. There are many nooks and crannies with so many interesting pieces!If you are craving to find a store where you can have a great shopping experience and get some interesting pieces that you do not see everywhere else- this is the place to shop!!It's a great thing to support our local businesses. Give it a try!!! I will be back...”

“Beautiful store at Stanford Shopping Center ! Lovely display and dressing rooms ! I've never heard of this brand but was attracted by a sign outside the store: 'Buy one get one free' ( sale items). So I went in and was going to give this brand a try. I was told that items with a yellow plastic ring around the hanger neck were a part of the BOGO deal. I tried on items in the dressing room which was busy. I chose a few items. Was surprised since I'm a petite size. When I get to the register I find out that many of the items were not on sale though marked as such. I found it very confusing. But I liked the items I chose ; eliminated two items reluctantly due to the no sale status of those items. But I also still kept a silk blouse for full price ( reluctantly) Later while at home I go online to view the online store. (Especially since I didn't know of this brand before) Turns out that several of the items I purchased for full price were on sale online. Confusing. The clothing is beautiful and sustainable and made in SF! Those two things are worth paying more for . However shopping at Amour Vert is confusing and felt unpredictable. I wonder how they can make the process more customer friendly ?”
