Today I discovered my soda dispenser was leaking and we were out of syrup, went to the other Smart & Finals around town and they didn't have any in stocks. My last stop was quartz hill where they had everything needed, and fully stocked, plus they were on sale! Don't like self check out, so went to the lines, this is where I was greeted by Natalie who almost quite literally dropped everything (hahah) to check me out, Very helpful and attentive, she even reprinted my receipt because the first copy was faded. She needs a raise. Took the time to help even though she was clearly in the middle of something! Thank you!

I can't believe how long the line is and they only have one cashier.The automatic checkout area is inconvenient and they don't arrange shopping bags in your section，you have to go to them to pick up the shopping bags and they check your receipt to see if you pay for the bags.The company save the cashier's wages and waste everyone's time and I choose to go to another store.

As a proud American, I will NEVER SET FOOT INTO ANY SMART AND FINAL STORE AS LONG AS I LIVE..!!! Today's experience was enough for me, they treated me like a second class citizen, NEVER asked me what the problem was ...only ask the cashier, even though the situation could have eziley took care of ......never the less, I don't have to spend my money there, because there are many other options

I went to S&F on Ave N in Palmdale this morning and after filling my cart with weekly groceries was unhappily surprise by only self checkout lanes open. There was one employee attempting to help people at self checkout. I asked for assistance with opening a regular checkout and declined to use self checkout as I had many items including produce. An older lady also wished to use regular checkout. A regular checkout lane was opened after about 5 minutes and a line formed quickly of people who had large amounts of items. I do not mind using a self checkout if I have 1 or 2 items, but not my weekly groceries! So, I will take my weekly grocery shopping to Vons since Smart & Final has decided that they don't care about people, not their employees and certainly not their customers.
