I do a lot of business with Lowe’s. I recently experienced the most horrible customer service at the pro desk today. The girl that was working, there had such an attitude. I only wanted to bring up one item, and she basically was having a fit. Her name is Pora After experiencing her customer service, her name fits her just perfect.

Usually this location is my go to for garden, hardware, home decor etc. however I tried made a refrigerator purchase six months ago which I ultimately cancelled because Lowe's failed to make the delivery two days in a row. The warehouse "couldn't find" my selection. No one contacted to me see if I wished to select an alternate. I opted to repair the old refrigerator and cancelled my order. Three days ago the old refrigerator quit again and the repairman suggested I buy new. I shopped Lowes where during the first trip there was no salesperson in the appliance area. I reviewed items on the floor and in frustration went to Home Depot across the street. The Home Depot sales person was busy. (Another issue is she didn't bother to acknowledge my presence) One star review for Home Depot also. Doesn't anyone care about customer service anymore? I went back to Lowe's as they had a model that I liked with supposedly deliver today, Saturday. Salesperson S1026JV1 I didn't get his name. Didn't leave his station until I went to ask questions. He seemed too busy chatting with another sale person to bother with me. Finally, writing up the order I clarified my phone number twice and gave him the gate code for my complex. No word from Lowe's yesterday concerning my delivery which was to have been made today so I called Lowe's customer service at the store here. The woman who "helped" me had horrible phone manners but finally found my order and informed me that it would be delivered between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM today. At noon I contacted Lowe's corporate by phone as I couldn't access the order online. Turns out the sales persons transposed the last two digits of my phone number. Even though I had him confirm the correct number when he was Inputting the order. I was Informed that the delivery driver was at the gate at 11:00 this morning but couldn't get in because they had an incorrect phone number and no gate code. The order was returned to the warehouse. Supposedly rescheduled for delivery tomorrow. Twice they have bungled an almost $2,000 order.

I had 36 concrete pavers delivered. Once unwrapped, I discovered 8 were broken. I went to customer "service" and showed pictures of the broken pavers. Anthony and Melania from Lowe's stated I needed to bring the (heav) broken cement pavers to them. I stated that they could pick them up when they delivered replacements. They refused, gave me a bunch of attitude (told me to "sit down") and after furtive calls with mgmnt finally and grudgingly refunded the amt for broken pavers. Anthony and Melania are a poor choice for customer service. I'll be going to Home Depot, Builders Supply and Ace from hereon.

I would give this place zero stars but that's not an option. Don't bother at the Lowe's Palm Springs. Better results at the Lowe's in rancho mirage. Better everything. That is... if you want new appliances delivered even after triple checking, new appliances that actually work, again rancho mirage!

Omg this place is crazy! I took my brother there to go find some bungee cords and blanket to move some things and as we were walking out we had employees trying to take pics of the license plate on the car and accuse us of stealing. I showed them there was nothing in my pockets and my brother was with me inside so for them to treat us like that was nuts

I ordered an interior door for my daughter’s apartment in August… still waiting… it’s been 3 months and I’ve been given multiple arrival dates and installation dates and revised dates and reasons for delays and constant conflicting info from all entities involved ( Lowes Palm Springs associates and assistant managers, ABS in Rialto, ABS in Sacramento, WindowFits, the instillation coordinators and I’m sure the Lowes store manager when/if she returns my calls after multiple attempts to speak with her). I’m a lay person and should not know the phone numbers and the names of all of the pieces of the puzzle and have to use them on a daily basis. I’m a thousand dollars into this door that fails to appear and pretty soon my daughter will be out of the apartment that the door is supposed to be put into. I’m trying to navigate this from NJ also. I’m literally begging ANYONE who can help me for help every single day! If anyone can help me please do so.. I’m beyond frustrated! This is very bad business.

They didn't have what I was looking for. Customer service on the sales floor is dreadful, few and far between. It took three tries to get a helpful, knowledgeable person at the end.

I just moved in the area full time and needed a home improvement store to go to. This Lowe's is the closest one to my place according to Yelp so I decided to give this Lowe's a try. I must say I was a little surprised by how bad the reviews were but kept an open mind. I needed some wood pieces to make a few shelves. I had just walked into the store to look around. Within a mins, someone yelled from across the aisle "Can I help you?" His name was Jay. I told him what I was looking for and Jay took me to the aisle and showed me all the choices. I got what I needed and Jay cut the wood to the sizes that I wanted. Jay was very careful to put some duct tape on the wood to minimize fraying. No one had ever done that before. Normally, cutting the engineered wood by an electric saw would cause the wood to fray very badly. I always have to buff it out when I get home BUT not this time! I also needed some products to fix my dameged polished concrete floors. I went to the flooring department and the associate was very nice but wasn't 100% confident what product might be the best fit for my project. He said we needed to go and see this guy who is very knowledgeable about floors. The associate took me to the knowleasgeable guy and it was Jay! Jay knew exactly what I needed for my floors. I was very impressed by everyone here, everything from asking me if I had any questions, helping me decide what I needed to cutting wood plank to the sizes that I wanted with such care. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had at a home improvement store. I am so glad this Lowe's is the closest store from my house!

We just had the worst experience at the Palm Springs Lowes. We were forced to pick up a water heater from the Victorville Calif Lowes because it wasn't available any where else. And no one would deliver it. It turned out it wouldn't fit - we never opened the box - we found out by measuring. We called the Victorville Lowes and we're told we could return it to any Lowes. So we took it to the Palm Springs one. The Palm Springs Lowes refused to take it. We are canceling our account.

They should just close this store. I was just there and there are hardly any employees and all of the registers have been swapped out for self-checkout. I'm not on the clock at Lowes so I refuse to do self-checkout. I took my items to the service desk to ring. I'll be going across the street to Home Depot in the future. This Lowes is weirdly a depressing ghost town.

Thanks to Sheila from hardware I am a very happy customer. Others are also good at this store but Sheila went above and beyond with her expertise. She was able to suggest the solution that worked and I didn’t even think about. Very impressive. Thanks again. Will be back as always

Had better experience than across the street at the orange box store. Nothing I wanted was in store but online order needed. Actually found every thing in store at few dollars per item cheaper! And they have Craftsman name brand that I trust. Now I know to Start a project here for better selection and pricing!!

DO NOT buy appliances from here...doing a new kitchen remodel, waited a month for special order appliances. Had Counter top guys waiting on microwave to be installed so hay could do a full quartzite sheet backslash install. To our surprise in box microwave was damaged. After spending over $8 K on appliances had to re order and wait yet again for microwave to be delivered. SO SO FRUSTRATING

I stopped at Lowe’s to grab two large Brute trash cans to help with a roof leak in one of my warehouses. With tropical storm Hilary and now todays weather, it’s definitely needed.I wasn’t allowed to take home items I really needed - and paid for online - because Lowe’s demanded I showed an ID. Some moron broke into my truck and stole my wallet. I won’t have one until Tuesday. They gave ZERO thought to my situation. None.I run a large construction and remodeling business running *millions* of dollars in materials. My business partner is a large cannabis contractor here in the valley. Maybe if I showed them that account, they would have helped me.I’m cancelling both our Lowe’s contractor’s accounts. Way to train your people, Lowe’s. Home Depot obliged, no problem.
