This place has the best customer service. I always go in like a clueless a gay man that I am, and they never make me feel stupid for the kind of questions I have.
Today one is their team members, James Key, back in the keys department really helped me out and went above and beyond in solving a problem for me. I could not be grateful for his assistance! Thank you James!

You cannot swing a plunger at this store without hitting a super helpful employee. And they have stuff you can't find in big box hardware stores. Especially weird items and patio stuff!

There's a reason this is the most popular Ace in the United States. They have such great service and well curated Palm Springs themed gifts, great outdoor furniture along with traditional hardware stuff. It wouldn't be a visit to Palm springs unless we went to this Ace for something, anything really.

Very disappointed in Ace today. First, as I was approaching a store associate to ask a question, from an angle where he could not have helped but notice me, he started looking around and found a man who was looking at umbrellas. He walked over to help him. It was very obvious he was avoiding me. Secondly, am I going to spend $110 on one throw pillow for the outdoor furniture? Uhhh... Absolutely not! It's not that I don't have the money, it's that the pillow doesn't even come close to being worth that. And I'm not into throwing away my money. What a sham!

I recently purchased a vintage home in PSP and have had the need to visit the ACE hardware store many times. From keys and fobs, to door hardware and unusual lightbulbs, the terrific staff members have helped me find the strange and the unusual. Always a treasure hunt with expert guides.

I much prefer going to a smaller store like this than the big box stores. Best of all, there's always friendly people to help you find exactly what you need. They also carry a wide selection of things you wouldn't find in those other stores, so it's well worth the trip. They are always busy because people know they can get what they need quickly and with friendly service. Highly recommend a visit to this Palm Springs tradition.

I hate to give only 2 stars, but the prices are insanity. I loved the customer service and the personable employees, however, when I got to the checkout, 6 hex bolts cost 37.00 dollars. I apologized but left them there and went to Lowe's. No way can 6 bolts ever be worth that. In this day and age, with the current economy, the owner/corporate need to try to find a way to bring more people into their stores, not scare them away. But they had beautiful garden decorations.
