From the time I called to make an appointment with the owner, Michael Eicksteadt, and his assistant, Marie Gill (and, notary), we were treated and informed in a knowledgeable, professional manner. Recently purchased a new house. Called up Desert Legal Documents since they did my trust to ask how to go about adding this house to the trust. Michael the owner was very helpful with getting everything done. He provides great service at a great rate.

Helped my 90 year old mother with her legal problems after her husband passed away. Very grateful to have this in person service in town and vs something online. Face to face helps with delicate legal issues. Good experience.

I emailed this firm with info about my situation and questions and a guy called me back. I asked him if he got my email and said "yeah, something about needing help with citizenship..." Clearly he did not read my email before calling me. So I started explaining my situation. My main question was about having names that did not match on various documents and how that would work for the citizenship process. After reading parts of my email out loud, he sighed, chuckled condescendingly and said "Oh boy, yeah, I don't know. Let me see. Hmm... I don't know. Hmm... yeah, ugh this is confusing..." Not very reassuring. He was cocky and not very comforting. Other lawyers I had alread spoken to all gave me the opposite advice that this guy on the phone gave me.

I've been a client for many years with Desert Legal Aid. Michael has always been professional and courteous and has helped me so much!! I will always recommend him and his Legal Aid services to everyone. Definitely a 5 star establishment.

A supposedly 'not for profit' law office that doesn't have an answering machine or return emails, and the owner Michael Eicksteadt boasts about his Rolls Royce on Facebook! Not to mention their ridiculously lazy opening hours. If you do manage to get through on the phone you'll probably be unfortunate enough to get the owner who I'm sure you'll also find to be just as arrogant and rude as I did. There are definitely better law offices around.

I have the utmost respect for Michael and his team. He turned my life around single handedly. I was in very murky water legally. He calmed me down. He listened and simplified what I thought to be an extremely complicated and expensive legal case. He explained the law to me, in terms I could understand and we pushed forward with ease. He is devoted to those of us in the desert who truly need assistance.
