I had a small laptop issue - but, one I could not solve, myself. Richard was able to address the problem the same day - very quickly and easily. He was courteous, and the charge was reasonable. I would definitely return to RNRPC for any computer-repair needs.

Our server was hacked and somehow it would not turn on again after the hack took place. It was requesting that we send money via bitcoin and we were stuck without our client's information and data. It was horrible. We had a bunch of filing to do and paperwork to take care of, but we couldn't access any of it. Richard came in we paid the rush service fee which was not a problem, and he took care of it within 3 days. We got all of our information back and all of our data. Those hackers didn't stand a chance!

I have been using RNRPC for two years now. I am very happy with the quality of service provided. There have been times when I needed a quick response to my network problems and Mr. Otis was always there to fix the problem. I recommend this company without reservation.

Took my Son’s Gaming PC that had been hacked , and after trying to look for a good computer guy …. I stumbled on some awesome reviews about RNRPC located in Palm Desert , Ca. Right off Washington st … decided to call the number on the reviews and spoke to the business Owner , I explained the issue to him , and he knew exactly what our issue was … we decided to leave my Son’s Gaming PC with him , Kept it for about 1 week … but all was worth he restored my Son’s gaming PC after it being comprised and potentially loosing the entire memory to a hacker ,,, anyhow Richard it the best at what he does .. and I highly recommend his service 100000%!Thanks again Richard you’re the best computer Wizard in my opinion in the valley , better then Best Buy’s geek squad by far ….

The laptop was broken and would not turn on. The power button did not work. So the computer would not turn on at all. Richard and his team fixed it and got the laptop to turn on again after modifying the laptop case.

After discussing my computer's issue with the fan replacement, I had no doubts in my mind that he would be able to fix it. And you know what? He did it! ? Our laptop and desktop got infected with something that would not allow us to open up the computers. We brought in the laptop and found out that it was something called a rootkit and this thing supposedly locks the computers out at will and somehow monitors all of the computers activity. Richard and his team went ahead and removed it and took care of the desktop. Right after this I decided to bring him to the house and assess the other devices we have. Everything was taken care of and cleaned i'm happy I found them. One thing though is that the charge was a tad bit high. But, worth it, nonetheless.

I had some issues with my Macbook pro and it seemed to have gotten hacked. I had a friend of mine get a hold of Richard at RNRPC Computer Repair and had him pick up the laptops from my home while I was in the hospital. He did just that and picked up the laptops as instructed. Definitely, super trustworthy.So, the issue at hand was that I could not open up any emails and the laptop was not allowing me to do much even though I just purchased a brand new Macbook Pro from the Apple store.Richard got rid of the malware and restored the two Macbook's to their original functioning states. The pricing was super reasonable. I even joked about it and told him he should charge double what he charges when he does emergency drop offs or pickups in the middle of the night. Richard is my computer guy for life now as long as he doesn't charge me triple! lol.

We have a landscaping company and had our computers and office set up 12 years ago. Our billing department has some issues connecting to QuickBooks and accessing files that were in the database. We called them and Richard was quick to respond and come on sight because we needed emergency services. He was pricy and charged $200 an hour but got the job done and quickly.I do have one complaint. He took one of our servers which was failing and needed to be repaired. Nick mentioned it would take 3 weeks max and it ended up taking 2 months. The server was repaired and required repair of the circuit board but the wait was ridiculous.Nonetheless, they get everything done. But if you have a broken device that doesn't turn on don't be alarmed if they end up taking 2x - 3x.I will always hire Richard for emergencies and refer him to our clients and friends.

Apple store from El Paseo referred us to this shop for our data recovery on our 15 inch macbook pro. It was purchased in 2022 . We were shocked Apple couldn't do anything.Apple mentioned the macbook pro would not turn on or get any charge and the hard drive was somehow damaged. We had company files on it that we needed to get off of it. Richard Otis, took the macbook pro and got the data off of it for us and was able to repair the macbook pro as well. The price was quite high but definitely worth saving us from buying a new laptop and paying ridiculous price for data forensics.

Richard is an amazing person. They do charge a bit on the high side and even charge to drive out to you. But, let me tell you. It’s all worth it because when it’s said and done they get you what you need done and within the time allotted they mention to you. We had a windows server R2 malfunction and got quoted on replacing the server. It was going to be about $5,800 for everything. Richard and his guys were able to figure out what was wrong with the actual server and we only ended up spending $2,500 to get it repaired. If you have a business or small office contact RNRPC computer repair they’ll get you situated.

My GV72 8RE MSI gaming laptop would not stay on when playing video games and randomly shut down and give me a blue screen. The bottom of the laptop also felt extremely hot i was just about ready to give up. I got a hold of best buy and they told me hardware repair on laptops is not something they do and referred me on over to this computer repair shop in Palm Desert.Mark and Richard helped me out on this laptop. The two of them were able to get it fixed. Richard explained to me that one of the fans were not working and then later found out the laptop had some damage to the circuit board. They had to do the following; resolder some new components onto the motherboard, re-paste the cpu and gpu, updated the BIOS, and make some modifications to the voltage settings.Now my laptop runs well below 95 Ceclius degrees and it no longer throttles. I was annoyed on the amount of time it took to get it repaired but them saving it makes up for the amount of time it took them!

I got a hold of Richard because our comapanies network was breached. We had very important information that belonged to our clients like; Drivers License, Social Security Numbers, and Bank Account information. The hackers attempted to file fake tax returns. We had an internal investigation happen and the FBI and IRS stepped in. Our boss was freaking out and I was tasked with finding a computer repair business that handled Forensics and Network Security. Let me tell you... Richard and his team are the best in town. I'm shocked people like Richard even exist! Reach out to them and they will definitely take care of you and all your computer needs.

Richard is an absolute sweet heart. I was going through some legal proceedings in court because documents were fabricated to move money from my bank accounts which I did not authorize. It froze all of my trust accounts. My kids did this and they were trying to take my money. Richard and the guys did some forensic work to gather evidence for this case and provided It to my attorney. If it wasn't for him I don't believe I would have gotten my money back in a timely matter.
